What are the chances of Peni Tagive playing for the Eagles in 2013? He has retired from the NRL to focus on uni full time. He is an Eagles junior also. Blue Devil?
Peni has moved to Lismore to attend uni.

Common, they are coming from Penrith to Moss Vale, that will last all but 2 months, why wouldnt you atatck the Group 7 competition for 10 point players, No wonder Narellan is going to put 50 on you next year. You wont stop the Trotter Brothers, Gallant, Rocky and we will get Baker, no one is chasing him.
narellan jet you must be living under a rock for christ sake

trotter brothers have both signed with mounties from 2013 onwards

and mark my words baker is not playing for jets next year 100% gurantee. its out of camden and oakdale with new assistant coach at oakdale jason hazelton luring baker over to workers on big coin.

leo is not coaching at oaks next year due to a disagreement with a few players i hear.

its been said by an insider at workers hazelton is on 200 a game as an assistant with reevesy on less. hope this is not true as this could stir some stew out at the sticks.

Brendan reeves and Jason hazelton together next year at workers, very interesting and a very good buy from workers. I heard some players from workers have already looked elsewhere as they dont get along with hazelton, probly just rumours though. But I'm not sure if having a résumé such as hazelton has got that he should be coaching at oakdale, surely someone of his quantity could be coaching at a much higher level hes the under 18s rep coach for christ sake.. I also heard that he has been contacted by a few other clubs in group 6 including oaks, jets, and thirlmere for a role any info on this?

Glenn whiteman as coach at mossvale next year is a gee up. 100% guarantee he doesn't coach anyone in group6 next year.

Gallant at jets haha what a waste baker is a ten times better fullback.. Hopefully baker moves on and goes to another club I heard Camden are after him. And gallant is only on 450 a game.

I also heard oakdale signed a star player but at this stage I don't no the name.

Trotters wnt be in group 6 next year. Mounties have signed them from 2013 I heard.

Minestrone over and out.. Creatures

False, our club has not contacted Jason Hazelton....
Not true buddy.
Maybe you should ask again because my insider is pretty good when it comes to this stuff.
How much money is he going to be on???
Have been told by Ben baker and Camden that's he has sign for big $$$a game and he is playing fullback cause the jets would not let him play were he is at his best And they r moving Chris browne into the halves to accommodate for baker And they signed gallant for fullback at the jets so no need for 2 fullbacks
Bye bye jets and Ben baker to Camden look out
I talked to Ben's mum last night, Peni told me he hasn't signed with anyone yet but keeping his options open.
I just spoke to Camden and apparently they have had talks with baker and baker has given them a week to announce there final offer. Apparently it's $300 per game,
But apparently I hear hazelton has also had talks with baker and tried to lure him to the workers. Not sure on the pay though. But he's pretty confident of getting bakers autograph within coming weeks.

So in other news how are narellan going to be under the points nxt year with skando, gallant, mguiness and the cabra and Windsor players????

And who is this mystery player oakdale have signed I heard from a club man that there is a player signing with them who is of good talent. But not yet releasing a name????
Personal friend of both Buddha and Johnny and both are happily retired, they actually find it amusing they have get named on this forum as going to certain clubs each year.

A lot of better fullbacks then Baker running around not sure what all the fuss is, Will Dreeves ok I'd understand his a class act and also Gallant a City junior surprised he didn't end up at the Roos 2013.

Hazelton to Oakdale?? Gee what are thinking?? TC what's the logic?
i am also a friend of just skando and both are being apart of jets next year with skando coaching and buddha captain halfback, they actually signed with narellan by handshake in the last couple of days and i find it amusing you can actually call yourself a friend when you dont no this.

gallant is on 500 a game what a waste when baker is just as good and goes for half the price, lucky for gallant its not 500 per win or he woulnt be there

jason hazelton has a coaching resume of graig bellamy ok hes done his apprenticeship as the redbacks under 18 rep side coach what an achievement!!! lay off his back he will tussle a few feathers as an assistant next year under reevesy.

You are speaking absolute garbage.
Jason Hazelton hasn't even spoken to the Oakdale Workers Board.
If he is speaking to Ben Baker it is only in early stages because the board determine match payments.
Quit all the nonsense here, and stop trying to undermine other clubs, because that's the only thing that is happening.
And your Workers insider.........

Campbelltown Eagles awarded Clayton Cup
FRIDAY, 05 OCTOBER 2012 14:14
Congratulations to the Campbelltown Eagles in the Group Six competition who has this year being awarded the prestigious Clayton Cup.

The Clayton Cup is a trophy awarded by the Country Rugby League to the NSW Country Rugby League team with the best overall record for that season. To be eligible, the team must win the highest level of competition in its region. Usually the winner of the Clayton Cup goes through the season undefeated.
The Cup was donated by Reuben Clayton, an early rugby league administrator in country NSW, and was first awarded in 1937 to West Tamworth. Since then, the Tweed Head Seagulls and Forster-Tuncurry have been the most successful clubs, each winning the trophy three times.
Congratulations on behalf of the Country Rugby League to all involved at Campbelltown Eagles.
On behalf of the Campbelltown Eagles we would like to congratulate Richard Barnes and coaching staff for this amazing achievement! We would also like to congratulate every Senior Player within our club, the past couple is season we have seen our senior sides become 1 club that play for each other with the common goal to play 1st Grade!

I would also like to thank the Group 6 Management and the Group 6 clubs with such a great competition and we have made some great friendships. finally our committee, i am so proud to be associated with such a hard working group of volunteers. We have always put the clubs reputation and players first, this award goes to everyone involved in the Eagles!
The Eagles have been great for the comp taken it to a new level and winning the Clayton cup gives the Group great exsposure, I think you will see other clubs strengthen next season to get to the level of the Eagles.

Group 6 boast the best CRL team well done to Eagles and Group 6.

What will be the 2013 make up of 1st grade? Anyone know yet?
well done to east campbelltown, what a fantastic season. But as far as being the best team in the CRL, you must be joking? They would be competative in the group 7 comp, but would not even be in the top four teams in the illawarra or newcastle competition. Take nothing away from their dominant season, but if they had played Thirroul, wests illawarra or helensburgh they would have been beaten by 40. Well done easts, but best team in the CRL, dont think so..

Whenever someone is successful somebody else tries to knock you down. :correct: Unless the CRL puts in some form of champions of champions comp, your comments cannot be proved, so they are just your opinion, and on paper Eagles are the best side in the CRL no matter what anyone says :winner:

Why try and bring the glory of what they have achieved down when it has given something to G6 never achieved before.

Congratulations to the Eagles for a fantastic year and may there be many more to come

Mate, you are so far off the mark it is funny. TC, you are right, he is just stirring the pot (minestrone pot??)

No Skando or McGuiness at Narellan, fullstop. Why would Skando even consider leaving Wests Tigers????

Word out of Camden is that Mitch Newton and one of the Dooner's to coach next year.

We have lost Cameron Graham though :hey: who looks like going to Kingsgrove

Plenty of fish in the sea though with a few ex NSW Cup boys meeting with Coach Fallshy this week (not Coach Skando!!!)

The Clayton Cup is awarded to the 1st Grade team that has the best overall record throughout the whole of the CRL.
It doesn't mean they have the best CRL team or that Group 6 is the strongest group. I'm sure that even BD would admit, they'd struggle to make the top 4 in the Newcastle, Illawarra or Canberra competitions.

But in saying that, the Eagles are only the third club in Group 6 history to receive the Clayton Cup, showing just how hard it is to secure for our Group, and deserve all of our congratulations on what has been a unique season up Waminda way!

Old Boot I think your comments are a little misguided, I have seen plenty of the group 7 and Illawarra competitions, I agree that Illawarra is a stronger overall competition, the Eagles and the top teams in group 6 would be more than competitive in the Illawarra comp no question. The main difference is probably the depth of players to call on when injuries strike, however the eagles have unbelievable depth throughout their club! It seems like every quality footballer from Campbelltown is an East Campbelltown junior!

Picton won it in 1966 & Mittagong in 1991

Not taking anything away from Eagles Maverick but two other Group 6 clubs have won the Claytons's Cup in the past so clubs in our comp have achieved it before.

I can confirm Glen Whitmore will be coaching at mossy next year also they are pretty confident of signing 3-4 quality players from the Penrith district that are keen to play footy in group 6 next year!! Long drive tho.....

If Hazelton hasn't got the top job at Oakdale, why is he putting a good offer to Ben Barba Baker?

Is it true The Oaks may be only a 2nd division side in 2013?

Will Bowral bounce back in 2013? What's the news down that way Highlander? How's the club looking with the success of the Spuddies and now Bundanoon to compete with I hope Bowral stay alive. They struggled a bit in 2012.
Not true at all.... We will be fielding all grades - U18's, Reserve Grade and 1st Grade
with Leo as coach?
Hopefully he doesn't bail out like he did on his best man at the Liverpool Titans
