here's the scoop boys. Narellan, Camden, Mt Annan, Oran park, Picton & thirlmere soon to be new wests jl clubs. The Oaks oakdale & warragamba have been taken by penrith and the southern highlands clubs will go to Group 7. 2012 will be the last year of Group 6 and Wests. Time to get into the 21st century.
Nah were actually joining the best club in NSW (Liverpool titans lOl) in the bundy cup
TC you could play in the super wests A grade make up 7 teams with 2 each from all saints titans and minto hell put 2 teams in as well make a 8 team comp of it spears across 4 clubs but will give the mighty titans premier status as they will have a super duper Sydney A grade bundy want to be Reggie team cause there winners and they never give only in grand finals lmao
enjoy the last year or so of Group 6 boys and girls. You know damn well that when you drive through Narellan Mt Annan etc that is not really country. Commission will come in and agree with Wests that all new areas need to be Tigers & in our junior league. It's called progress. Bye bye Group 6. As for Oakdale what do you really give to the sport? No juniors and won a comp with all imports from Wests JL.
Hey Bobcaaaaat if your comp is as good as you say, why would you need too comment on anything put on this thread or any other thread
your comp should be able too speak for itself as the group 6 dose, i don't here people bagging the group 6 comp only wests thats because group 6 know they have the best comp in NSW & have no need too respond too any negativity, as the football in group 6 speaks for itself. LONG LIVE GROUP 6, RIP wdjrl.

If i was you bobcaaaat i would be more concerned about the Roosters coming too narellan, they have plenty of money.

But on a possitive note bobcat i hope your UFC comp gose really well, will you be fencing the players in.

Matt McCauley, Bart masters and ron jones, hardly flushed with imports.
Just continue playing your 3rd rate comp, that u can't win.
Group Six is now strong enough to stand alone, don't think that avenue hasn't been considered before. I know because I brought it up because of the possibility of the league trying to force us into a do-do merger with a do-do organisation.
It nearly happened in group 7 and the CRL do-do themselves

lets not hit him with the spray can, let him keep the dribbling up, he is obviously a very scared person, the only power they have is there own egos, have you not heard of WORLD SERIES CRICKET, CARLTON LEAGUE & GROUP 6 DEFECTORS ALL OF THESE BORN OUT DUE TOO BULLY BOY TACTICS, i dont believe there is any club in group 6 that will have anything to do with wests comp, please correct me if i am wrong.

If you are wright bobcat then the new commissions first feather in there cap will be that they forced a new rebel league.

Good luck bobcat keep up the dribble gives me a good laugh.

You don't get it champ. There is nothing and no one that can stop us from forming our own competition. The limiting factor is insurance, but with a collective of 11 clubs in seniors alone, I'm sure we have some bargaining power. As I said group 7 were gonna do it til the CRL gave in to their demand.
You just sound so desperate to get back to a combined comp, I would too if I were in your position

The Good Oil from around the 2nd Division Clubs

Group Six will be fielding a 2nd Division representative team for the first time since the early 80s. 2nd Division rep teams used to play similar rep teams from Group 9, Newcastle, Group 12, the Illawarra and the ACT. A very good and exciting initiative from the Group for all concerned with the 2nd Division league.

2nd Division teams are now dotted around the northern boundary of Group 6 with Campbelltown City, Macarthur Bulls, Campbelltown Eagles, Camden Rams, Mt Annan all confirmed starters. There are rumours that the popularity of Narellan's new reserve grade coach John Sione will see an influx of players to the Jets and force the entry of a Jetters 2nd Division outfit.

A prominent local Rugby League figure has been approached by the Group to help form a 2nd Division team at Catherine Fields/ Leppington, with hopes high of this new club being included in the 2012 draw.

Macarthur Bulls, once again under the guidance of Matt Hughes, have been training strongly and will start early favourites to take out the competition.

Campbelltown Eagles will be under the stewardship of new coach Chris MacQueen, and will be the dark horses to the Bulls, with an exciting blend of youth from last season's U/18 teams and the experience of recent 2nd Division campaigns.

Camden is an unknown commodity at this stage, their first foray into the 2nd Division. Any blending of their experience from last season's reserves and U/18s will see a very formidable team take the park.

City officials expect to announce a front row captain coach for the 2nd Division team in the next week and are hoping for much better results in 2012 through recruits and the emergence of many of last season's U/18s team.

Mt Annan have reported 25 players at training and are confident of being competitive in their first open age competition since 2009.

Warragamba have been hard hit by retirements and departures and will be doing well to repeat last year's Runners-Up finish.

Bargo Bunnies have unveiled their new South Sydney playing strip, in keeping with the colours worn by the old Bargo club when it folded in the 1970s. Bargo have 30 players on their books and will win plenty of 2nd Division games in 2012.

Southern Highlands Rugby League is booming again. Bowral under Randall 'Cheeky' Laughton will attract a quality line-up and have been bolstered by the good news that club stalwart Adam Sargood will strap them on again in 2012. The Blues are anticipating many big gates in rivalry clashes against Bundanoon, Robertson and Bargo.

Robertson will field a youthful line-up, while Bundanoon will call on a few old Moss Vale Reserve Grade veterans in 2012 to steer the rugger boys around foreign territory.

The next month will determine whether Appin has the strength to play 1st Division 1st Grade, otherwise a return to 2nd Division is not off the cards. Expect rival 2nd Division clubs to demand Appin have a points penalty imposed on them for winning consecutive lower division titles.

Group officials are also concerned about the strength of another 1st Division club, who are apparently making overtures to 're-group' in 2nd Division in 2012. Watch this space.

The Oaks has withdrawn from the 2012 2nd Division.

Group 6 2nd Division 2012- Confirmed Starters
Macarthur Bulls
Campbelltown City Kangaroos
Campbelltown Eagles
Camden Rams
Mt Annan Knights
Bargo Bunnies
Bowral Blues
Bundanoon Highlanders
Robertson Spuddies
Warragamba Wombats

??Maybe?? Out
Narellan Jets The Oaks Tigers
Leppington

The strength of group 6 is amazing to be able to field a 2nd division comp of that size is fantastic and shows how the group is near or par to the Carlton league and newcastle/Canberra crl comps , very impressive this is one of the healthiest groups in tue country let alone the state and reeks of strength and viability well Dunn group 6

Whilst this group is strong its no way stronger or on par with illawarra or Newcastle leagues, so much so that group 6 are in the second tier CRL championship.
