Dads best mate Darren is coaching the 1st Grade, he is getting some help from Dasher to recruit, Darren coach Narellan's 18's last year and is a great coach, a few of those 18 will step up, they have had a clean out and he will work
Hard to build them back up to be a strong side, John Sione is also recruiting well but will be bringing a lot of young Polynesian players from the Liverpool area. Narellan will have a building year but should be competitive, they will have the 3 Grades.

Great to hear Fatty the coach of Narellan, couldn't of found a better bloke.

Woodo will have to import a bit to be competative at Thirlmere with retirements, players moving on etc.

Bargo Bunnies were affiliated tonight - they will be entering a 2nd division side. They'll train at Bargo but their home ground will be Wilton for games. As the name suggests they will be playing in red & green.

Nothing else major came up - everything seems to be in order with G6 seniors, ready & raring to go.

Hey Guys.

I am only new on here. but love reading all the gossip.

With group 6 season only around the corner, there would be alot more signings and transfers.
I have heard that now former Oaks reserve grade Captain /Coach Mark Georgiades has signed on to Coach
at the Workers, his taken a few Oaks players with him. Not sure who at the moment, will keep you posted.

Thirlmere had a light run on Sunday under new Coaches Dane Wooden and Darren Power,i have heard that they
are getting Todd Tasker and Reece Wagner back. Not to sure how Tasker will go, seen him the other week and he
aint looking as fit as he was. Maybe a shuffle from 5/8 to second row for him?

Mount Annan has also started back up, under a new management and coach Jason Ward. Old heads are meant to be back
for the knights and are meant to be playing in 3rd or reserves. Hopefully they get numbers, but highly unlikely, as
they having fallen through since the 2006.

Camden have re-signed some great players and signed some more players.
They could be a force this year under newly appointed Philippines assitant coach Mark De Ubago.

Macarthur Bulls have apprentely used all there points up signing up big name players. My friend, who told me about the Bulls
will not tell me the Players, but im sure to find out and keep you posted.

Keep reading for Updates.
Cheers guys.

Mark Georiades left The Oaks because he was given an ultimatum by The Oaks, either coach or play, 1 or the other, not both.
He signed on at Oakdale as a player, but with our Captain Coach Mick McFarlane getting a job at Mudgee just recently, Mark became a good fit.
46 years old this year Mark.

Well, Mark Georgiades is doing well for himself then.
I did not know he was 46. But congrats to Oakdale, Hopefully your Reserve grade side will now be as strong as the First grade team. Back to back for 1st tc6?

Todd Tasker was a group 6 rep player a while back, played with Mt Annan as a junior and then went to the Roosters. I aint to sure if the Roosters are struggling, With a lot of Retirements and players leaving, It will be a huge re- building stage for them. I think Todd Tasker could help them out, if he gets fit and plays alright. But only time will tell westie.

I know he played 18's and 21's.

Could have played Seniors, but i cant remember if he did or not.

I think if he plays well, he will be heard of by season's end.

Peter Mehl and Peter Burnett (former Thirlmere coach) had huge raps on him, they were the 2 men who got him over to Thirlmere back in 2007. But 2007 and 2012 are different, so only time will tell.

Good luck to the Kid.

Playing Rugby League in Group 6

Posted Image

The 2012 season is just around the corner, and many clubs have been in training for a few weeks but there is time to join the Country Rugby League Group 6 competition.

Last season saw the return to the standalone Group 6 comp after 2 years in the wilderness when a joint competition with wests was trialled.

2011 was a great year for Rubgy League in our area and 2012 is shaping up to be even better. Also old Group 6 clubs Bundanoon & Bargo have returned to the competition and will take the paddock in 2nd Division.

This season will see the group run an extended competition:

U/18-1's

U/18-2's

2nd Division

Reserve Grade

First Grade

Our comp offers Rugby League for every level of player whether your just moving up from Junior League to the serious First Grader who is looking to step up to the next level.

2nd Division offers players coming back from retirement for "just one more season", the chance to kick the ball around the paddock and have a beer at the end of the day with their mates. You'll find a level of the game to suit you in Group 6.

Play footy in a well organised, well disciplined, friendly environment under the CRL. Group 6 games are a place where you can take the family to spend the day watching our great footy code.

So come alone - get involved - have some fun!
