The Campbelltown Eagles will be playing in the Kiama 9's on the 3rd of March and the playing the Berry Magpies from Group 7 in a full senior club trial on Saturday the 10th of March, 1st Grade will be under lights kicking off at 7pm. The Campbelltown Eagles would also like to welcome three new players to the 1st Grade squad, Ben Baker has signed for the Eagles for 2012 along with Ben Weir and Mason Talolua. The Eagles have lost Mat Blunden (Camden Rugby Union) Brad Hopkins (England) Tom Morrison and Amano Tovio (Wests Magpies NSW Cup) The club is on track for a healthy 2012 season :correct:
What team did Brad get picked up by? Best of luck to him he deserves it. Even with all the West / G6 issues West's still picking up players from Eagles (must be doing something right) And Matt playing union.. has anybody got a Rugby Union rule book? I have no idea, all I know is he can't put hits on in union and that what he's good at.

theres an old saying " rumours are started by haters, spread by fools and accepted by idiots". Part of what you are saying is correct , they will form a team wether they are competitive is another thing, time will tell, they are probably going to go thru a rebuild this year, still have the nucleus there of josh champion, damian barton, willie macdonald, elliot esqilant etc, plus will have a few signings from st marys & goulburn, they are opening the cheque book.
What about Dan Drewe and Shane Martin?
Marto has retired, to many grey hairs.
Dan has joined the police force,
Robbie Noble, Scott drewe have signed with jambaroo
Esky is still around waiting on players to sign on, if it doesnt happin you could also see him driving up n down the mountain 3 times a week.

Wouldn't count mossy off they will be sweet good club
Disco, I'm not a hater or a fool, the talk is that Willie is hanging to see what is going to happen and Elliot Esquilant is not playing, and they are hoping!! to sign players no signatures on the books as yet, also the person running the ship is nicknamed Schettino by some of the locals(Itallian cruise ship captain just in case you don't who he is) If your in the highlands have a beer at Mossy pub on a friday evening and listen to the guys talking you will hear it from them first hand.Next time I will avoid the word rumor as it seems to have an effect on you.I truley hope you and westie are right and they get a team not the same without Mossy in the comp.
My work doesn't see me frequent the pub often so I usually chat with a lot of players via Facebook or thru the pm here

He is a leader not a follower, besides had a short stint with kiama a few years ago , got sick of the travel real quick & ended up staying at mossy. Speaking of kiama they have signed former picton player Chris bowers.

Sorry I forgot to mention Theo Leato from the Reserve Grade Premiership winning team has been contracted to Manly Sea Eagles in the National 20's for 2012, great to see so many of our players getting opportunities to go higher :winner:

Hey Guys.

I am only new on here. but love reading all the gossip.

With group 6 season only around the corner, there would be alot more signings and transfers.
I have heard that now former Oaks reserve grade Captain /Coach Mark Georgiades has signed on to Coach
at the Workers, his taken a few Oaks players with him. Not sure who at the moment, will keep you posted.

Thirlmere had a light run on Sunday under new Coaches Dane Wooden and Darren Power,i have heard that they
are getting Todd Tasker and Reece Wagner back. Not to sure how Tasker will go, seen him the other week and he
aint looking as fit as he was. Maybe a shuffle from 5/8 to second row for him?

Mount Annan has also started back up, under a new management and coach Jason Ward. Old heads are meant to be back
for the knights and are meant to be playing in 3rd or reserves. Hopefully they get numbers, but highly unlikely, as
they having fallen through since the 2006.

Camden have re-signed some great players and signed some more players.
They could be a force this year under newly appointed Philippines assitant coach Mark De Ubago.

Macarthur Bulls have apprentely used all there points up signing up big name players. My friend, who told me about the Bulls
will not tell me the Players, but im sure to find out and keep you posted.

Keep reading for Updates.
Cheers guys.
No big name signings for us mate trust me id know about it  also we will be well under the points in all grades :correct: :correct: I guy by the name of Todd Tasker contact me about having a run is that the same guy :dunno: :dunno: :dunno: he said he last played at the Oaks and could help us win a premiership :winner: we declined being he'd be 25 points which we feel is to much for a third grader :correct:

I think Picton may have called off training tonight! Where's the commitment these days?
A bit of flash flooding never hurt anyone! Why, back in the old days...........

Picton boys need to have some concrete, Dad said he use to road run around the streets of Picton when he played for them, a couple of big hills and they wouldn't flood.

Nothing beats a run up Coull St before heading back to Victoria Park to sort the men from the boys!

LOL glad it's them not me.....

THE LATE MAIL:

As reported on the forum earlier Camden have secured 3 of their star juniors, however with the Wests State Cup side struggling, i'm told Camden are in danger of losing them, and Neil Begovich is also being offered lots of cash from a club mentioned earlier.
The Oaks are chasing former NRL First Grader Mark "Piggy" Riddell. I'm told from my source that they have promised him employment at Tahmoor Colliery. Shares in The Oaks bakery have hit an all time high.
Campbelltown City are looking good, and i hear that they still may have another signing to come.
Newly appointed Thirlmere coach, Dane Wooden has been busy chasing players from every other club in the group and is treading on everyone's toes.
Oakdale are fighting to avoid a Moss Vale situation from 2011, with Brendon Reeves leaving, and several players still unsigned.
The Eagles, unsatisfied with having a great side have tried to extend it, with reports of them chasing Oakdale enigma Ben Fryer, but not being able to secure him.
In other news Sonny Bill Williams knocked out another overweight punching bag.

Even though Dad hasn't admit it, I suspect he is the Good Oil, he always raved about putting good oil in his 1986 Brock Commodore, and was getting jealous that I was getting the thumbs up for the correct info that was getting posted. So to say it nicely Mr Weidler, we have you covered.

Daine Wooden is chasing the 3 blind mice that have contacted every club in the Group to get a deal together, Ben Fryer, Nick Taylor, and Bryce Poicel. Looks like they are headed to Thirlmere and the Roosters really want to spice up the rivalry round with Picton trying to sign Chris Young. The Eagles didn't talk to Ben Fryer as they have signed Mason Talauluo from the N20's and only yesterday released Ben Baker back to Narellan. Dad hasn't heard about the oaks signing Piggy Radell but Dad said he will look into it. Another big signing for Thirlmere may be two brothers that played NRL for Parramatta, Thirlmere may be the team to watch.
