BEEFA YOU HAVE TO BE A MOCK UP BECAUSE EVEN WITH THE STANDARDS OF JL YOUR AT THE BOTTOM OF THE BARREL, YOU ALL HAVE BEEN SO INTENT IN DESTROYING THE GAME HERE BEFORE YOU ALL RETIRE AND NOW YOU BAG OUT THE 1 GROUP IN THE AREA THAT PROVIDES A PLATFORM FOR THE GAME TO NURTURE, IM SURE IN 12 MONTHS WHEN PENRITH KICK YOU OUT, ITLL BE NEW EXCUSE BUT SAME PAGE, YOU WILL ALL RETIRE AND THE AREA WILL BE LEFT BROKE AND WITH NO STRUCTURE OR SENIOR BASE TO BUILD WHICH WILL EVENTUALLY FILTER DOWN TO JUNIORS, WHAT A GREAT LEGACY TO LEAVE, SHAME SHAME SHAME , YOU LOT HAVE GOT A LOT TO BE PROUD OF.

I've heard reports that mittagong have signed thirroul halfback Scott Borg as captain coach for 2012. They have retained Ryan Borg so having those 2 boys in the halves is big.

I know the amounts of money that these guys are being paid. Where does Mitta manage to get it (Cash) from? |

Whisper has it that the Mittagong RSL is a silent sponsor 'how ever that works'. They also have a couple wealthy buissnes man about the club that would be throwing cash around to claim back on there tax bill.

I'll tell you what, I can really see Mittagong becoming the next super power in the group. With the apparent bucket loads of cash they now have and their very very strong juniors coming through they have a hell of a platform to work from. Consider that they won the 18's, came 3rd in 16A's, and won the 16B's. Not bad at all. If they manage things right they could be the next Thirlmere of the mid 2000's or Camden of the late 90's/early 2000's. |

That's a good thing for Group 6, wouldn't it be good if Bowral and Robertson become first and Reserve Grade clubs again, with Campbelltown back in Group 6, if the likes of these clubs plus Warragamba, Appin and Bulls got into first Grade, what a competition it would be, Possible 14 team competition. |

That won't happen for a while, both Robertson & Bowral have limited sponsorship dollars and the player pool at both clubs are too small to sustain 2 grades let alone an u/18s also. |

Mitta has had a very good season and their hard working committee has to be commended for this. Scott Borg is not only a good player but he is also a great bloke. He has done a fantastic job as the G6 Development Officer (probably the best they've ever had) also, he has been working very closely with Bob coaching the U/15's Rep squad this year. I wish Mitta and Scott well for next season (even though I'm black & white to the bone).

I don't know what he was like as a coach, but this is just my observation from both on and off the field. I thought he really stifled their attack. I have no idea why he thought he was a hooker. His service was slow, he unnecessarily held the ball up, and he took over their kicking game. From all reports I've heard, he is a fantastic back rower. I'm glad he never jumped in the back row though. |

I can confirm that he goes very good in the back row tc. I played against him in a trial against Thirroul in 08 and he had the 11 or 12 on. Very good running game, wasted in dummy half. We got a touch up that day and I was very very sore afterwards. |

Dalton loyal to Kangaroos http://www.macarthuradvertiser.com.au/news/local/sport/rugby-league/dalton-loyal-to-kangaroos/2306727.aspx ![]() Leader: Drew Dalton (pictured) will coach Campbelltown City Kangaroos next season. Picture: Sean Cunningham CAMPBELLTOWN City Kangaroos first grade team have retained the services of Drew Dalton as coach for next year's Group 6 rugby league season. Brought to the Kangaroos last year, Dalton has been a standout this season and was a nominee for the Group 6 Player of the Year award, recently won by Wayde Dunley of Campbelltown Eagles. Kangaroos president Heath Attard described Dalton as a "superb acquisition". 'Not only has he been influential in rebuilding our senior club, he also takes the time to coach our under 13 team and mentor our junior coaches on the skills they need to coach to junior players," Attard said. "While we are disappointed that our first grade results haven't quite been there in 2011, we are close and competitive in every fixture. "We aren't that far away, Drew is by far the best man for the job in the Macarthur region." Attard said the family-oriented club would turn its attention to retaining the bulk of this season's senior roster. "There is a real family feel about the senior club already with the Daltons, Russells and Szczerbaniks involved," he said. Dalton described his appointment as an honour and hopes the club will emerge as a force next season. "To follow in the footsteps of Corkery, Greaves, Paul Murray and Sheens is very humbling," Dalton said. |
