I wounder which group 6 team will chase hindmarsh's signature for next year
Hopefully mossy as he would be a two point player being a local jnr. Still pops down to Robertson on occasions.
Captain coach of Mossy? Or maybe Robbo? Geddes to return?
I know Dragons are keen to get both of them as they are Dragons Juniors. I believe the club has been speaking to one of them already with some positive response from player. I know one of them is not interested in England so Community Oval would look good with those pair on it. Go along way to bringing players back to Mossy and back in 1st grade where they belong :correct:

I think that he will be staying around the Eels in a development - PR role.

That's just a whisper I heard last year. It will be interesting to see.

I doubt Mr Hindmarsh will be keen at all to play after this season, he will have plenty of media work available and time to ride his motorbikes with his boys on the weekends so i'd reckon its unlikely we will ever see him on a CRL field again. His brother played down at Cowra a couple of years ago and everyone just wanted to make a name for themselves and belt the ex-sydney player which wouldn't have been much fun.

Rusty... should be a good contest this weekend, Spud Park in mint condition after the cancellation of many events at Robertson Show which normally tears up the field. Pretty ordinary 1st half from the Robbo boys against Bundy last week but it was pretty much the first time they had played together as a whole after just the 1 trial at Canowindra where a few blokes were missing. 2nd half was a big improvement but we'll have to step up another level against Mossy.

Will be a good crowd in attendance I would think - Mossy vs Robbo games are always well supported and when all the players know each other (and majority went to school together) it always adds a little bit of spice!

Would be great to see him out here playing but seriously not any team has the capacity to attract a player of his calabour I think we won't see him out these ways anytime soon

Hindmarsh will still be involved with the NRL especially community one...he is a role model for Rugby league as Hasem Elmasri is , NRL will have them working along side each other..

TC Oakdale must have been pretty impressive on weekend or were the Oaks poor. Piggy must have pulled up at the canteen on the way to the sheds.

Also Narellan, they were short odds to take the wooden spoon and they put the cleaners through Camden who people were talking up to be possible contenders this year. :letmesee

Any one see these games???
I saw both those games and was blown away by both.
The continuity in Oakdales performance surprised me considering they had no trials. The Oaks were only just competitive early, and really lacked punch. Piggy was wasted at 9. but it was like they threw the towel in from the second half.
And Camden were poor, but Narellan were very up tempo. There's been a lot of do-do slung at Jye OMullane on this forum, and if he is the front rower now at narellan, I think some opinions will change. He was impressive
It's Jay O'Mullane
and yes i hope he show's up all the knockers he had throughout last year as everyone had
their two bob's worth to say about the Appin team and personally about Jay.
Jay is a great bloke and a great footy player and he will shine in 1st grade.
People forget the reason Jay was at the Appin club playing 3rd grade was that he and his Mum
were the foundation of the Dog's and hoping to build the club up.
All there hard work gone because of the big push of getting them to step up to 1st grade, could have been more time warranted and
let the club go about being in the competition. It would have been better to have teams remain in a comp than not at all.
Practibility, demographics and populas determine what is possible?.
Sometimes, people and the group just have to realise the capabilities of a club and what can be achieved.
We are seeing the clubs that are pushed, Mossy no 1st grade, Appin folded, Bowral forfeiting games?.
You would think that Group 6 would have protected the product they already had , not add more product at
the expense of other clubs.
This is not a beatup of new clubs and/or existing clubs as i know of the hard work that goes into clubs operating etc.
Let's hope we see Appin back into the picture (that's the plan for 2013) and the clubs/group support all the clubs and players in group 6, otherwise we are no better
than our West's counterparts and there b#lls*it comp they play in, if we are beating up on players/supporters/volunteers etc.

:drink:
Thanks Appinboyz..spelling of name does not really matter...Appin will use this year to rebuild for 2013 but with our players and helpers gone to other clubs it makexs it a little harder but we will do it..Good thing is the appin boys are still 2 points if they return next season...Mate Appin has been there because of a lot of people from coaches players sponsors and volunteers and you are one of them credit goes to all...we will work hard in 2012 to be there in 2013...good luck to you coaching juniors and hope your son enjoys his time at Picton they are a great club almost as good as appin lol...I will be there to watch them (junior & seniors) play when ever I can.
I did not get to see Jay play for Narellan last sunday as I was working so thanks TC for giving me some insight as to how he went. All the Appin boys are good boys, and I will endeavour to see them all play in 2013.

Yep that's right. I'll take the spooners tag back. They look good. Enthusiastic. Congratulations to them, but 2 out of 2 in March is nothing at September, long road ahead.
Must say the centre Faavae is impressive, big strong skillful fast.
Baker got sent for a blue, apparently he didn't even let one go. Nervous wait for him

By the way the score was 34-18.
Mittagong looked short of a run. Scott Borg was targeted, Ryan Borg dropped his bundle a bit, the other half Thorpe may be a little out of his depth. Mittagongs forwards didn't shape up
