Good to see former easts assistant keep his assistant role
Maybe assistant his best gig under a good head coach and clubs may look at him to sign as a good under study
yes it is good no reason why he should lose his group 6 rep role just because Easts didnt want him..good luck to the group 6 rep side on sunday it should be a great game my prediction is group 7 18 group 6 22.

Great game today, thought we were gunna get flogged after the first 20 minutes but i think eagles thought they might of had it won and we started to show how good we could play. Dissapointed to loose but eagles do have a very well coached team. Can't wait until next round when we play them.
Was a good game but unfortunately for u guys u will play us with our full squad next time we did switch off cause we were going straight through u guys but the crowd was massive and it probably was a good game to watch my prodiction you guys picton and roo's won't make the finals sorry make just the way it felt we were always in controll of the game
That's probably a fair prediction. I can understand us being written off based on what we've achieved so far. But, we haven't had even close to a full strength squad yet this year.
In yesterday's game we had two under 18's in our starting line up for first grade. They both performed well considering, but obviously wouldn't be there if we were full strength.
Thankfully we have 3 weeks off now. Hopefully the half dozen or so blokes that are on the mend now will be fighting fit against Thirlmere when we resume.
IF we can manage to get something close to our best line up together for a few consecutive matches there may just be a few people from other clubs that get a surprise.
Maybe thats why the 18's are struggling with players
Injuries in the higher grades! first grades not going to go anywhere so why not try and achieve something with the 18s

Yeah good point. I'll go to training on Tuesday night and tell the first grade coach to write this season off because a guy on an internet message board said we should. I'm sure he'll see it your way.
No one from the 18s would ever be asked to back up if they weren't up to it. And out of all the injuries our 18s have suffered this year (and there are many) only one has happened while playing a higher grade.

The whole point of footy is to bring all the young talent into the higher grades to give them a taste of it and see how they handle it. Thats common sense.

I think it's great u guys are giving young guys a go at the end of the day it's only gonna better there confidence and one or two players might change things that have to come back but seriously when u played us u guys had no depth probably from the injuries but a loss to the roo's it's pretty funny if ya think u will make it this year sorry mate....

Its great too see the young kids playing reserve grade and 1st grade just goes to show the amount of young talent group 6 can offer, also its good to see how they handle themselves against grown men, and the experience and knowledge they take out of the game is phenomenuial. So id just like to say to all the teams who are willing to give young players ago good on ya becasue thats the true spirit of the game. Also just quickly i went to the magpies verse east game on mothers day last week and id just like to say that i was quiet happy to see thr way both teams respected each other in reserve grade and 1st grade, after both games there were photos of both teams and after both games all players from both teams had a laugh together. Which is what footy is all about playing with your mates and having a laugh.

Good to hear the Roos get thier first win of the season they could be the smokey and make a late charge for the semis
Not great to hear if you're from Picton! They got us on the bell scoring 2 tries in the last 3 minutes to snatch victory. It was a good game though.
Our reserve grade continue to improve getting a good win 44-18 after being up 36-6 at half time.
The 18s went down to a strong Roos team but with a handful of key players to come back from injury at least they know they can compete with the best.
Thanks for the hospitality to everyone at Picton RLFC, foal- great day's Rugby League.
Good to see old hands Davies and McPherson in reggies steering the ship and bringing the supply line of kids back through the Picton club. Might be time for the Roos and the Maggies to establish an annual Ron Kain Challenge Cup, as two foundation Group 6 clubs??

Scott Borg is a handy player at worst. He was the starting halfback in the country first team only 2 years ago. Ryan was the custodian for the Illawarra divisional team the same year. They are both far from past it with Ryan 28 and Scott 26. Both have played with Stuart Flannigan and Bart Masters in previous years I'm higher grades. 2 very talented footballers that should be in the first 3 picked for the G6 side.

I agree ive watched borgy play several times this year and i must say he is an outstanding talent who i thought for all money would get a start. I dont no how they missed him because he is a must have in any team. Also please explain why graig moustakas was missing from the team and surely will dreaves should have deserved that number 1 position hands down. There were also a few other mittagong players who deserved to be picked but i guess its too late

Not saying we have won it already I'm saying picton roo's and between the oaks and Camden its a toss up. I reckon the top 5 will stay the way it is wether it chops and changes them three sides will stay down the bottom end of the table, and wont make it this year that's what I'm saying
