Red Eagle did you watch the footy show tonite?...you thought Narellan field was bad on the weekend the teams they showed from other country league, played in conditions 20 times worst.
Yes I did and I thought narrellen held up alot better lol them fields were nothing but mud narrellen was actually pretty good compared to them hahahahaha
The bit I loved was when that guy stripped to his undies and did a belly slide in the mud after the game to celebrate I cracked up laughing....

Sunday 17th June City
Under 18/2CityVMac Bulls10.00am
2ndsEaglesVMac Bulls11.30am
ReservesCityVEagles1.00pm
FirstsCityVEagles2.30pm

Its a possibility the above games for Round 10 will be staged at Fullwood Res Claymore Campbelltown new home of the City Roos which they can turn into a real fortress and a very real eye opener ground for visiting team   Great setting for 3 Campbelltown based clubs to be playing on a ground drenched in brutal clashes :fight: dating back to the old Claymore Panthers days sets up a battle zone for some great Group 6 footy all grades :winner:

18s City v Bulls always a tough game for both and will be no different but more hype added in recent comments and staged at Fullwood hometown to alot of both clubs players
2nd div - All Campbelltown clash again on Campbelltown soil
reggies - will be a great contest with Blue Devil smarting after 2 straight losses and City on the up
1st's - Being on home soil should be a cracker and hopefully City boyed by the new venue will give the Eagles a good hard game

All in all look forward to the days play should be a bumper crowd in attendance - Orana v Blue Devil Fullwood the battleground!!!!

Mr red eagle, once again im very impressed with your lack of comebacks lol makes me laugh, anyways all ive heard lately is how apparently our points are not being looked at well just to confirm at thrilmere we were aware at the start of the year in february when we signed james and trent trotter that we would be really short on points, but in sating that with several players retiring last year, it aloud our juniors from 18s to jump to reggies and it also aloud reggies to push to 1st, just to prove a point before every thursday our commitee overlooks the team and submits a copy of our points to the opposing teams commitee,
There is a lot of garbage going back and forth from you guys.
Makes for good entertainment next time you meet.
I was at the Thirlmere v Oaks game last weekend, and i'm looking at the program from that game.
In your first grade i can't see 1 player that has been pushed up from last years Reserve Grade.
I have a pretty keen interest in footy, and know a lot about where people have played, and off the top of my head i know
3 x 40 point players (NRL, NYC, NSW Cup, English Super League) (Daniel Heckenburg, Dylan Sharpe & Trent Trotter)
2 x 25 point players (From within Group) (Jake Fellows & Shane Milat)
2 x 25 point players (Bundy Cup) (Keith Heckenburg, Sean Finnerty)
Can anyone confirm these values?
The last statement is incorrect too, when you guys played us, you never submitted your points.
You forgot the other Trotter brother he is worth 25 as well tc

All up at least - 245 points between 8 players, whats the limit? :letmesee:

Wow I agree... how hard is all this banter to read!! points system is a joke anyway i couldnt believe it existed when we came back up here to G6, no such thing in group 7 and they have a consistantly even comp every year with any team capable of beating each other on their day. Why is this not possible in G6??

Get your best 17 players on the park every week and just play footy, and have fun doing it! (and then a few beers and a laugh afterwards!) :correct:

Great scoop MacBull- yes confirmation that the City club has taken up the lease for Fullwood Reserve and intends turning the No.1 field into an international, seniors standard ground that Campbelltown's oldest and most famous club can be proud of, especially considering what we surrendered at Orana in 1986 and then at Orana No.2 in 1996.
We will be submitting a proposal to Council that the Rugby League field be renamed Tony Norton Field, after one of the Kangaroos' greatest contributors.

CRL Group 6 Round 10
Sunday 17th June Fullwood Reserve Claymore

Under 18A: City vs Mac Bulls 10.00am
2nd Div: Easts vs Mac Bulls 11.30am
Reserves: City vs Easts 1.00pm
Firsts: City V Easts 2.30pm

Great news Orana87! It will be wonderful to get some good senior footy in the Campbelltown area again and I can't think of a more deserving person than Tony to name the ground after.

Mr red eagle, dear oh dear oh me, once again you are talking more shiiit, all i ever see on this forum is footy lover and red eagle talking doo dooooo, you"s need to stop worrying about our points and worry about choking in the finals mate!!! Its no good winning games now then choking in finals aha, and also i heard from a source that a few of your players have put on a bit of weight, not naming any names but apparently a winger and a forward have blown out and may be forced into early retirement. And also i hear red eagle and footy lover are secretelely getting it on with blue devil after training session can you confirm this red eagle? Thankyou.

Ps. Dooo doooo.

Fullwood Reserve, it backs onto the freeway.

It was Claymore Panthers last home ground before they folded some years ago.

It has been mainly used by soccer since.
