Tiger it's well known certain ESA committe members were happy to see the back of parra

ESA results last year were poor for the squad they had and I can't see them doing much in group 6 with that group of players if parra is still in charge his results lady 2 years have been poor maybe thats why they ate trying 3rd grade now
Certain ESA members who were upset that they werent wanted as a part of the coaching staff because the players didnt want to play under them??

Certain ESA members who refused to assist in gaining sponsorship??

Certain ESA members who refused to give anything to the senior club??

Certain ESA members who only showed their face when things weren't going great??

Certain ESA members who were only there trying to stir trouble rather then trying to help the club build somewhere so the juniors can go??

The results were below what was expected, yes. However considering we lost key players to injury it was a good effort..

Once again, don't believe everything you hear, only everything you see...

Westie this is the do-do that gets me going and eventually threads being shut down because certain individuals continue to attack others about do-do they know nothing about except the rumours they have been fed. I am more than happy to share facts with you I was there for all of it and not gossip that you hear down the pub or because somebody knows someone who knows someone who is related to someone at ESA.

I was at ESA for 10 years and on the committee for the past few years as the treasurer. ESA would not of had a senior side at all for the past 2 years without Parra and others including myself and my family helping. ESA won SENIOR CLUB OF THE YEAR because of this. So whatever people are saying that he did to the club should look at the facts.

If certain committee members of ESA were glad to see the back of Parra or myself that had nothing to do with how the teams went last season or anything else that happenned at the club, they are glad to see the back of us because of personal agendas. I love ESA and always will I still have nephews at the club and a lot of good friends and I plan on being a part of their time there for many years to come regardless of what some others think of me.

I made the decision to leave the club because of the competition being supplied and if i believed that the ESA committee had of gone into fight for my boys to play in a challenging comp they would still be wearing the black and white. And yes I call them my boys because everything I have ever done for these boys has never been about a personal agenda but because I give a do-do about them and their football. I do not lie to the boys about what they can or can't do when it comes to where they want to play, myself and Parra don't offer them money for wins to come and play at the Bulls, they have followed Parra, myself and my son out there without hesitation, why is nobody asking the question that if it was so good for them there why didnt they stay ??????????????

These boys are the ones that have to suffer because of this whole ridiculous situation that has become senior football in the west district. I have a 17 year old son trying to find a job at the moment with no money coming in but he drives for over an hour before and after every training session picking up and dropping off other boys from one side of the Campbelltown district to the other that can't get there just so they can play footy this year with their mates and play every bloody week not every few weeks, he does this because they are not allowed to train closer to home because the same district league club that says they can't couldn't come to the table and guarantee a decent competition for them this year when they gave their word they would. But nobody in power from club or jl level would care about this they just believe he is being disloyal to ESA.

At the end of the day it's not about Group 6 vs JL, its not about what committee members are glad to see the back of others, its not about who is talking down the pub and who knows who. It's about the players playing rugby league and the more time that is wasted on all the do-do talk instead of finding a solution to the problem the worse it is going to get and the more players we will see leaving for other codes or not playing at all.

Everybody should get their heads out of the sand take at look at the bigger picture, this is one season the JL has hundreds of players turning 18 over the next few years and for many to come that will want to play in a good solid competition so sort this do-do out and leave the personal attacks and rumour spreading about hard working volunteers out of it. And leave the boys alone and let them play wherever they want to play.

Before this gets way out of control.

Leo is on no coin.

Leo and I have been best friends for a long time he was the best man at my wedding and we made a deal years ago that his last year of footy would be with me.

Hope the forum stays positive.
I have been raised and bred Rugby League for as long as I can Remember, It is all that I have known. I spent most of my teenage years at the local footy fields supporting my family and friends, not at Liverpool westfields making boost juice look good. The smell of Dencorub, the sound of metal studs on the concrete as the A grade storm for the sheds. The Saturday nights at Liverpool City's home ground, atmosphere erupting as they line up agaisnt Macquarie Cobras. When all the Western Suburb kids new the A grade players by their nick name. Playing touch footy with your mates and rival kids on dirt gravel paths. That 1 old , toothless drunk wearing a beenie and nursing a long neck, a mascot for every club in the comp. "Mate" Brownie, Do not deliberatley misinform or patronise the passionate folk of the Western Suburbs. We've watched and attended too many rugby league games, not know what happens in clubs at grass roots. soooooo Brownie please refer to the following comment YOU made published in the Liverpool Leader 17th Jan 2012.
"TITANS STEP INTO TOP TIER"
"Brown said" The Sydney Shield side would be made up of a "core group" of A grade players, as well as 50 contracted players".
Can you please clarify or define the meaning of contracted players you are refering to. Shall we say a meat tray, carton of VB, a bag of red frogs or better yet a dogs eye and coke. We do not walk around like Richard Prior and Gene Wilder in the suburbs of the fibros. Most offensive is not the fact that the club has inticed key players to jump ship with a financial incentive or alike, Its the fact that the club actually thinks that the educated dedicated league fanatics , that pay a fee through the gate , have no idea how? you could have these gun players at your club. We are not nieve, It been happening for years e.g players leaving their traditional clubs cause another club gives you shorts and socks , or free rego. So you may say their is no payment via coin, cash, green back "whatever" gone are the days where a player would battle and bled for the rush of the game, that was when the players didnt have a financial prize after the game. Titans put all the facts on the table, stand behind your choices and most of all, It is us that turn up rain, hail and shine weekly to contribute to our kids establishing a future in Rugby League and giving you fellas the opportunity to build a club from our kids. Dishonesty is not taken lightly in this neck of the woods, so carrying the Liverpool name should be a privillage cause we are a dying breed.

send the liverpool clubs back to parra comp less travel hey saint
Great call Warrior69 considering the bulk of the senior teams come from the Liverpool area, sending these teams back to Parra would put an end to a senior competition for Western Suburbs and maybe your beloved Worrell Park will be a home ground to a soccer club in the future. :cstars:

on a posative note great roll up at titans training last night 54 there heaps of young ashcroft 16s grandfilist and lcc's 18 from 2011 future looks good glad to see the player transfer ban over watch the mighty titans takeover all saints and lcc as the premier club in liverpool and the whole group 6 and wests area for that matter.

WINNERS NEVER GIVE UP AND GIVE UPS NEVER WIN :winner: :winner: :winner: :winner:
Beefa,

I laugh and giggle at some things you write and your support for the TITANS is great but you need to report the truth.

Yes we had a great roll up last night 54 isnt correct 43 is correct with lots more players back next week.

No kids from ashcroft u/16-1's were there and 1 u/18 from LCC was there.

Our player target is not other West clubs its clubs out of the district and new players to rugby league.

Yes our restriction of junior player transfers is over however we come under the same rule as every other West Club for season 2012

As i said your support is fine but reporting incorrectly will only lead to dramas the TITANS are not wanting any part of.
Try convince all saints valley aschroft and lcc your target players are bet they beg to differ brownie to many clubs in one area you should have started the airds titans or revived claymore as titans
Thats an epic call in regards to being the premier club in Liverpool, All Saints have been a benchmark side for years that was gradually built on and rightfully earnt their respect. The Titans had a very successful first year but have they bitten off more than they can chew or jumped the gun a bit with your so called non paid Sydney Sheild team, good luck to them but I would have focused on having a consistant A grade side for a couple of seasons that could bring the silverware home. How much depth will you have when your Sheild side comes into a couple of injuries. You will end up pushing players up that are not up to it and they will get pumped like East Campbelltown did a couple of years ago. Anyway all the best with your goals to be the premier club in the country. Titans havent won anything yet except for a few comp games last year but remember WINNERS NEVER GIVE UP AND GIVE UPS NEVER WIN and when you GIVE UP a shot at goal in a Grandfinal your probably never gonna WIN. Pride, dignity and respect go a long way in this game and it seems there could be some valuable lessons in these areas coming your way. Beefa stay off the reefa it is diluding your vision.

clap clap clap great call Rally Valley. It is imperative to remember that our local clubs were built from the ground up, relying on the sponsorship of our local butchers and small buisness owners. Our clubs were relying on their players to turn up to their locals after the games in support of the pubs, that traditionally sponsored our teams. Alot easier now though with the Internet and newspapers to promote their teams. Do not mock the teams that ultimately bred league into our community. Titans have big shoes to fill, lets start by acknowledging these clubs 1st.

When did East Campbelltown get pumped? Our club done well with the limited resources compared to other clubs, yes we beat the likes of Mounties, Cabramatta and Wentworthville, and I remember well that we beat Shellharbour by 40 one night and the Entrance by 50 at the Entrance :correct:

And we where proud that at least 90 percent of our playing roster was local juniors :correct:

Blue Devil I was referring to the Sydney Sheild side in 2010 not the Bundy side. Wenty beat the Sydney Sheild side something like 92 nil. I applaud your club for developing your own juniors because it takes time & effort to do so, the point I was trying to get across was that it seems like the Titans want to do the short course in everything. I remember watching that Sydney Sheild side play out at Wominda Oval against one of the heavyweights of the comp & they took the field with 11 players & stuck it to them & went into half time in front, to do that takes courage & in no way am I trying to degrade that team or your club. Can you see the Titans starting with 11 men or would they become the Liverpool Titanics & sink.

Ryan Norris finds his calling at 2GLF
http://liverpool-leader.whereilive.com.au/sport/story/norris-finds-his-calling/

Posted Image
RUGBY league couch commentators were put in the hot seat on Saturday as the Liverpool Titans searched for the next Ray Warren.

The rugby league club, with community radio station 2GLF, held an audition in the hunt for people to start calling Sunday matches from April 1.

Those at the audition were asked to do a continuous call to a pre-recorded rugby league match in front of four judges - 2GLF’s Carol North-Samardzic and Glen Burns, as well as Darcy Brown and Scott Baverstock from the Titans.

Ryan Norris was named the winner at the audition and will head up the commentary team, which will also include Curtis Woodward and Phil Dorahy.

Roy Crichlow and Grant Magnus were awarded sideline commentator spots.

Mr Norris, who, during his audition, described a penalty kick as “leather perfect”, said he was excited to be given the opportunity.

“I was feeling confident before the audition but it was pretty nerve-racking when I got inside the studio,” Mr Norris said.

“Family and friends always tell me I should do it and I finally got this opportunity so I knew I had to give it my all.”

Tune in to 2GLF on 89.3FM from 2pm every Sunday from April 1 to hear the new team.

I just hope he calls the games evenly, he looks pretty pro Titan from the photo? But a great concept for local league's promotion.
