Warrior, you are in no position to bag clubs especially All Saints, my son trialled for your club on saturday against minto, what a waste of time, he wont be back, he was also told that they will not be travelling to Souths or balmain and that these clubs will be meeting half way each week, that deosnt sound right to me. Warrior you need to stop living in the past, have a look at your club especially if warriors have to play ESA or RSL, from what I seen on the weekend, they wont last the season. Can someone email me of any GOOD clubs that needs players
Your son must be a good player, that's about the 3rd club his gone to, and the fact is, Warriors probably cut him. So which way does he want to travel, inner city or outer country? Dad is impressed with Narellan, and it is good to finally see Jay O Mullan finally playing 1st Grade, Dad said it wasn't the fact he was playing 3rd Grade, it was the dirty play he had against young kids in 3rd Grade, at least if he is a grub, someone from 1st Grade will line him up, a Dave Lowe special, Don't get Dad wrong Jay can play but he was in the wrong Div for the past three years
fencesitter, would be about it, doubt if you have ever actually played league and live of what Dad has to say. You would know nothing about Jay, the facts nor the reality. As for Jay being a grub, bad call mate, he play's good strong footy (always has and always will) and if this intimidates players his doing a great job. Jay was at Appin, to help build the club numwat, it is people like you that do jack for the sport but sit on the fence to bag players/clubs and others. To date, I thought some of the input you put here was great, but mate you dont have to get personal about others. It is just not good. Good luck to all who play rugby league/supporters/volunteers, no matter for who/what/where. Group 6 had a great start to their comp and best wishes for those to the start of ICCC comp. Appin, hopefully back and running in 2013 cheers
Fencey first of all you say its not the fact he played 3rd grade and then you say he is now in 1st grade where he belongs, which one is it... He is not the only person who played 3rd grade with capabilities of playing in a higher grade. Maybe you should look at the 3rd grade this year and pick on someone else for a change. Jay played 3rd grade beacause we did not have a 1st grade. Let me take you back to 2008 when Matt Stockwell hand picked his 1st grade side to enter the group 6 comp yes Jay was one of those players, unfortunately Stockwell had to go away and could not comit to the Appin Club nor the money he promised these players.... so all these players went chaseing clubs for money except for jay he stayed and took the risk of not playing footy at all that year ... ... group 6 executive committee had talks with me and my son Paul asking us to try and repair the damage that was done before the club had even started....Paul approached locals to help build goal posts we searched for sponsors and raised money just to get us up and running at least, Jay approached his friends and locals and before we knew it we had 2 teams but they were never 1st graders by the end of the season we were down to one team ... We all put our own money into that year as well so that we had a fence training equipment balls jerseys shorts socks club shirts ect...So that is a why Jay was playing for Appin...Appin were allways interested in stepping up but the group told us we are not ready for it..A number of people includeing Jay had been working hard for Appin to have a !st grade side in 2012 and unfortunately did not get the playing roster. Give him some credit for helping the Appin club get started group6 exec never had a problem with him playing 3rd grade and he is still involved with our club even though he is playing for jets this season I am looking forward to seeing him run out for Appin next year.. I think youve taken me the wrong way, I'm giving him credit to say he should never be playing 3rd Grade, and I have watched so many games over the past couple years and yes I have seen him drop an elbo, put late shots on and sledge little half backs, I don't mind this sort of play but do it against players that will give it back, 3rd Grade is just that, 18 19 year olds and guys who want to play socially. I'm glad to see him play 1st Grade and I hope he plays the same style of football, but he will come up against other players that play that same style, will be great to watch. Jay being a club man is good but that is like saying to a player you have to play Under 18's even though he is 25, if you out grow your club as a player you have to move on. I didn't mean for you to take it the wrong way, my dad has also done a lot for the game.

Whilst this & quoted posts has nothing to do with the actual thread topic i will say that i do recall all the dramas at the time especially when goulburn left the group at the 11th hr and Appin were fast tracked into filling the vacant spot left by them. And fencey pull your head in, lets get back on topic, Ok, Here are the nomintated Senior Teams for this years Inner City Combined Competitions. A GradeAuburn Warriors; St George Dragons; Moorebank Rams; Kingsgrove Colts; Burwood / Nth Ryde; Liverpool Titans; Valley United A ReservesLeichhardt Wanderers; Burwood/Nth Ryde; Five Dock RSL; Hurstville United; Penshurst RSL; Brighton Seagulls; St Christophers; All Saints; Eaglevale; Liverpool Titans A Reserves 2Renown United; Riverwood Legion; Arncliffe Scots; Berala Bears; Bankstown Sports; Campbelltown Warriors; Ingleburn RSL; Minto Cobras Under 19's DIV 1St Christophers; Bankstown Bulls; St George Dragons; Bankstown Sports; Mascot Juniors; South Eastern; Dundas Shamrocks; Hurstville United; Kingsgrove Colts Blue; Campbelltown Collegians; Eaglevale 1; Liverpool Catholic Club Under 19's DIV 2Alexandria Rovers; Maroubra; Redfern All Blacks; Clovelly Crocs; Arncliffe Scots; Kingsgrove Colts Red; Eaglevale 2; Ingleburn RSL; Liverpool Titans; East Hills; Penshurst RSL; Minto Pretty sure Eaglevale are only putting in one 19's side now and they are in the second division. And will any of these games be played in the Campbelltown district or will we still be without quality football for anybody to watch on a Sunday in the Campbelltown area?

The email said that u/19s games will have travel restrictions, Only for clubs further than the Canterbury district. Meaning if you are playing a Canterbury side you will have home games at your ground.
Balmain, South Sydney, Sydney (Roosters), and St George teams will only travel as far as Liverpool for matches. Similarly Western Suburbs clubs will be scheduled to play at venues in “away” districts that are in proximity to the M5 motorway.
It also said the A-Grade sides have no travel restrictions so I assume all A-Grade games will be played at all sides own home grounds, with some at the stadium. There will be a maximum $5 entry, but players and officials are not to be charged.

Tuff ask 19s traveling into the city each week How come all saints and ESA took reggies not A grade Mav?? Did hear both struggled the other week against titans and valley so maybe they made the right choice That A reserve looks strong but I reckon both clubs may struggle in that as well and my tip both will end up in A res 2 by round 6

The 19s will NOT be travelling to the city each week. They will play on thier normal home grounds when playing Canterbury based teams and a neutral grounds close to the M5 when playing anyone else. Thier own home games may be any field in Liverpool close to the M5 (Hillier, Jardine or even LCC) Their away games I am unsure of the out of district grounds around but Moorebank would be a good example.
You have no idea of what the teams that entered the A reserve are capable of so how do you base your comments on where they will end up. (We have already beaten St Christophers and gave Hurstville a good run in trials) with a fairly new side made up a mix of last years 1sts and res sides with some new players as well.
Its about time people got off their high horse and back each other for the good of local Rugby League. I fully support G6 Sides and the teams playing in the ICCC so how about a bit of good luck guys without the sarcasm.
P.S You can not like the establisment without bagging the clubs out
P.S.S Is any body going to beat East Campbelltown this year

ESA I understand they have been poor last 2-3 years and don't pay players And how is being paid relevant to your comment that both these sides will end up in A Res 2s after 6 weeks. What facts do you base that coment on? If you cant write constructively dont write at all.
Again P.S All Saints the only club "openly" saying they will pay players. Many brown paper bags around.

That's a big statement based on fiction Depends on what's been offered, could be petrol money to match payments. It's not really appropriate to be discussing clubs financial matters here.

That's a big statement based on fiction Its totally irrelevant to your comments about teams being dumped into lower grades after six weeks. And all I said was there are "brown paper bags" around you can draw your own conclusions from that.
As I said, why cant you be constructive instead of trying to be destructive

I seen all saints in the pre Season Comp, I wouldnt pay them, no way. but I would be kind enough to given them a pie after the game, if those guys get paid, Valley players should get a BMW to sign up.

Is Titans and Valley paying? Really Titans are just Hinchinbrook in sky blue, it was said they had 2 Under 19's but last night I seen the draw they only had 1, they overestimated the numbers they were going to get not fielding a Sydney Shield side and now the 19's. question? who will be the first team to pull out of the ICCC, how will people handle the travelling?

Won't be the valley boyz Ozzie osbourne we will rage the iccc Hope all the teams stick it out but if one struggles I'd say it might be ESA the boyz seem to not jump on board to the captain coach but can't blame them he didn't lead the way on the field and doesn't seem to have the players respect ESA look like a side needing a decent coach to enhance the talent up there or from what I seen a player revolt will see them fold up in the iccc just my view boyz
Valley boyz looking good Ned will lead the way boyz can't wait to kick start Yeppa yeppa cheeeoooo ralley valley will rock the iccc yeppa cheeoo

I seen all saints in the pre Season Comp, I wouldnt pay them, no way. but I would be kind enough to given them a pie after the game, if those guys get paid, Valley players should get a BMW to sign up. They were not in the best of form for sure, but some glimpse's of what they can do if they can get it all together. In the preseason semi V Titans we crossed the line 2 or 3 times but couldn't get the ball down and paid for it when giving penalties away near our own line. I think the football gods were against us in that game. Only time will tell.
All the best to the young Italian boy who broke his leg in this game, he is gone for the season.
I have made a site where I will post our weekly games and they can be viewed on the link below

Valley boyz looking good Ned will lead the way boyz can't wait to kick start Yeppa yeppa cheeeoooo ralley valley will rock the iccc yeppa cheeoo What do-do, this ICCC biggest non-event ever. How sad 5/6 junior league comps all collapsed into one. Any truth that Wests U/17s has collapsed too & they're now heading to the ICCC?
