I think it was Austin that won an A grade prem up ESA a while back but your right since he left the have been poo For the strong junior base ESA has why does the ESA seniors struggle?? I hear the coach thing valley boys by all reports the struggle there maybe Austin can make a come back for ESA get them back on track Seen wests have 7 sides in the iccc so why not run a sole senior comp in 2012 why was the teams sent to the icc?? |

I totally agree it is a disgrace, but why are we not hearing more about it in the local newspapers and on the local radio station. Are the general public of Campbelltown not aware that there will be NO senior rugby league in the council district for 2012. There will be NO support for local boys on the weekends and NO support for the local businesses that have sponsored and kept senior rugby league running for years in this district. I wish all the teams luck that are playing in the group 6 and the ICCC competition, but I wonder where will the money come from next year to sponsor the west senior teams, because by then AFL and Soccer would have taken all your sponsors away. This whole situation of the 18's, 19's and seniors should of been repaired from the top long ago. |

would anyone expect anything else when it comes to the Junior Rugby League in the area, how sad is it that we have 5 districts struggling for senior footy, 7 clubs in this area have to play all over Sydney while 3 Campbelltown Clubs have to play in Group 6 and train. |

Looks like the 17's will be headed to the ICCC, only 4 maybe 5 teams, they can play 14 rounds of semi finals, they have done that before. |

Mate I dont know what All Saints have done to you to incur your continual "compliments" about them but get a life and let them get on with 2012. In the whole time I have been on this forum (which is a few years) I have never bagged a player, coach or club in either comp (and I have been involved in both), But you never let up. What is your problem? Its people like you that will let other codes take over our game with your continual negativity. If you like Rugby League then be supportive and not continually negative. I dont care care if they never win a game, (yes I do) but I will go out and support them and or any other team my kids or kids I know (sorry young men) are involved with, every week, week in, and week out no matter what. So please let up on them and give them a go. I understand that there is a lot of unhappy people with West's management but why pick on the teams, players and club people that are just trying to put kids on the park. (And they dont get paid a cent) By the way what club are you with? bet I dont get a straight answer. |

I have not seen one stat or fact from you to back up your comments. You say you deal in stats and facts. What stats or facts did you base your original comment that All Saints and ESA would be dropped to a lower grade after 5-6 rounds? Alan Fry does have the credentials being a level 3 coach that coached at the Bulldogs for 4 years, Harold Matts and then SG Ball. But It does not matter how good you are, you still need the right cattle to be successful, but he does his best with what he has got. All Saints dont have any well known players and the small amount of money offered did not attract any stars. Most of our side are just mates playing together and doing their best. Maybe we should cut Alan Fry's pay in half until he can get the results you say he should be getting. What's half of $0?

At least they keep coming back year after consecutive year to have another go. Not all sides keep coming back, some can't put sides on the park anymore, but we are still here. That "stat" alone makes us winners.

Thats true, if a team is fielding teams every year then that is succesfull in itself, a club isnt measured by how many premierships they have its how they meet their commitments on and off the field. |
