Hey one for warriors 78 is it true the current coach is striving to get warriors back as a power house in 2013 and will over throw Eddie at the agm to get control of the club and apply to affiliate to group 6 Pretty strong mail can you confirm warrior78
don't have any links to the club anymore westie but ill keep me ear to the ground at the rusey hope it's true but sounds good get warriors back!!
Appin will again be pushing to get back in the senior comp 2013. We will again be starting at the bottom and trying to build the club up. Just thought I would put it out there, so people know that we will be trying to again be included in the g6 senior comp. I am sure doggie girl will be talking about this soon.
Are city Roos going to still be there if appin come back or will we have the appin city Roos emerge Is campbelltown council helping the Roos or not??
Cannot comment on the roo's, but they are only temporary . We have not given up the field, roo's are a bit like the bulls , gypsy's to they are allowed back. I did hear that the junior club at the roo's don't want the senior s there!, but only what someone else has said, no one related the to the club. When appin seniors are back, roo' s will have to find elsewhere , simple. Just on the gypsy tag Appinboy the Bulls club has been back in the area training for over a month now at James Meehan International Sports Stadium and loving it
We made a deal earlier on to play out of Sid Sharpe as we did in our 1st season when the train/play was imposed and still was until earlier this season hence why we still play there in 2012, As for 2013 well stay tuned

Just meant that you guy's and the roo's have had to play and train where you could, that's all. Good luck to both your clubs, been there and seen how hard it is to run these clubs, let alone having to be shifted about. The main point was that Appin have not given up their field, just a temporary arrangement for the roo's. On with the footy and good luck this season.

Lets talk the game of the round, A Reserve Division 2, the Ingleburn Tigers play the sinking Titanics. Our guys are fired up looking forward to this one, yes we may have some injury concerns but that wont take back our guys efforts to win this one, bring it on Titanics, here comes the ice bergs from Ingleburn.

you get good mail westie a few boys at the pub saying this will happen & we've got worrell international stadium to rival the east ctown beagles and it gets better, darren moon starting a warriors masters footy club so game on boys I grew up with Mooney, watched him play many games for the Warriors and they where the good old days when Worrell Park was packed to the rafters.
Mooney is currently coaching overseas for Shiefield ( I think) but if the talk is with him getting Warriors going, I'm sure he will, he also won a Grand Final with Warragamba Wombats in about 1990, he has a good history with Group 6 Footy and with his knowledge working with Wests Magpies last year, he would be good to take Warriors to the next level, Good Luck!
After giving him such a big rap, last time I talked to him (2 Weeks ago) he did ask if I had a job for him at the Eagles, I would have him doing any job at the Eagles, champion bloke!

The ones that cant, or are in a team that cant, are playing a grade or two down and ENJOYING their football and are proud of what they are achieving at that level. The idea is to encourage them so that one day soon they may be able to come up another level or two and become a better player or side. That happens with encouragement not rubbishing what they are doing. You must have been a "superstar" to have played at the top level all your life

All I'm saying rsl are chest beating over beating clubs that at least play A grade which rsl shiver in fear over playing that's all Last time i checked Westie im playing 1st grade your well not even playing???
I dont need to pull a heart string as im not the one on the sidelines.
RSL to there credit are starting in a new comp and rebuilding after a pretty hard 2011. Look at clubs that were forced up to early andlook at them know!!!
2011 Appin 3rd grade winners 2012 folded 2003 Mt Annan Reserve grade runners up 2004 Folded 2002 Warragamba thirds grade winners 2003 folded after 1 game when being forced to firsts.
Your more than welcome to come down to Mollymook oval on Sunday and watch this old dog in action!!

You just dont get it Westie Not everybody can play at the top level or grade. The idea is to encourage them so that one day soon they may be able to come up another level or two and become a better player or side. That happens with encouragement not rubbishing what they are doing. You must have been a "superstar" to have played at the top level all your life I think your forgetting the basics of having a number of tiers, Wests had a stand alone A Grade for many many years, this left players that wasn't up to A Grade getting belted every week, or players that where getting too old retired early as there was no Reserve Grade, I loved playing Reggies last year and honestly I wouldn't have had a hope keeping up with 1st Grade.
If you can keep players in the game longer isn't that a good idea? I congratulate Clubs for playing in the ICCC and at least they are at the level that they need to be, 2 years ago we beat Ingleburn Bulldogs 98-0 and that isn't good for the players, supporters or the game, We are lucky to have 5 good divisions in Group 6 and good competition games every week, the Wests clubs needed the same and playing in a competition that only housed 1 Grade was a no Brainer!
