Collies 19's should be more competitive in 19's Division 2 and just in time, we are struggling getting our guys to the away games and they have really lost interest being smashed all over the park, what annoys the do-do out of me is the uncertainty of what was happening at the start of the year, it really left the players with a WTF is going on, and everything that was supposed to happen didn’t, we were supposed to get our own comp 17's 19's Reserve and A Grade. And the Campbelltown Group 6 clubs we were assured that they would not be returning at all,

why didn’t we have the option to play in Group 6?

Will Wests Juniors let us go to Group 6 in 2012?

Will Group 6 take us?

I think its time to clean out the Wests Junior League and get a Board that can get along with people from Group 6, its not us Versus them. its let our boys play where its best.

Congratulations to the valley, 1st place on the iccc ladder, not bloody bad for a team that were apparently grubs, it pays not to listen to the sad folk out there. Again the club and a team should be proud of their achievements thus far, no whinging, just playing good footy.

Hey one for warriors 78 is it true the current coach is striving to get warriors back as a power house in 2013 and will over throw Eddie at the agm to get control of the club and apply to affiliate to group 6
Pretty strong mail can you confirm warrior78
don't have any links to the club anymore westie but ill keep me ear to the ground at the rusey
hope it's true but sounds good get warriors back!!
Appin will again be pushing to get back in the senior comp 2013.
We will again be starting at the bottom and trying to build the club up.
Just thought I would put it out there, so people know that we will be trying to again
be included in the g6 senior comp.
I am sure doggie girl will be talking about this soon.
Are city Roos going to still be there if appin come back or will we have the appin city Roos emerge
Is campbelltown council helping the Roos or not??
Cannot comment on the roo's, but they are only temporary .
We have not given up the field, roo's are a bit like the bulls , gypsy's to they are allowed back.
I did hear that the junior club at the roo's don't want the senior s there!, but only what someone else has said, no one related the to the club. When appin seniors are back, roo' s will have to find elsewhere , simple.
Just on the gypsy tag Appinboy the Bulls club has been back in the area training for over a month now at James Meehan International Sports Stadium and loving it :correct: :correct:

We made a deal earlier on to play out of Sid Sharpe as we did in our 1st season when the train/play was imposed and still was until earlier this season hence why we still play there in 2012, As for 2013 well stay tuned ;)
Hey macbull,
No malice meant or implied to you or your club. Just meant that you guy's and the roo's have had to play and train where you could, that's all. Good luck to both your clubs, been there and seen how hard it is to run these clubs, let alone having to be shifted about. The main point was that Appin have not given up their field, just a temporary arrangement for the roo's.
On with the footy and good luck this season.
Keep your group 6 talk to the Group 6 page, Easy.

Lets talk the game of the round, A Reserve Division 2, the Ingleburn Tigers play the sinking Titanics. Our guys are fired up looking forward to this one, yes we may have some injury concerns but that wont take back our guys efforts to win this one, bring it on Titanics, here comes the ice bergs from Ingleburn.
Easy, yes life member
I'll post when I like and where I like, last time I looked it was a public forum.
Didn't see you as administrator/director or owner even though you might think you
can orchestrate orders. If you care to have read the original post it was in reply to Westie about a west's club of that being collies.

you get good mail westie a few boys at the pub saying this will happen & we've got worrell international stadium to rival the east ctown beagles
and it gets better, darren moon starting a warriors masters footy club so game on boys
Mate heard the cheque books out and few local juniors on the radar to be signed for 2013 group 6 entry this will give 4 ctown clubs in group 6 next year and wind collies could make a play as a 2nd div club also with de Bono leading the charge
Do you think group 6 have forgotten last time about collies.
They will not be accepted into the competition as the group still haven't forgotten.
There is two or three clubs from wests that left a bad taste in the mouths
of the group 6 officials and vowed that these clubs would not be accepted.
Was told collies tried for this year and even put in their petition for entry, that
they were willing to put up 10 grand surety. They were denied.
Collegians will not return to group 6.

How great as the new ICC been for junior league clubs. And great to be able to show case local talent on local grounds still with this weeks games at Milton park and worrell stadium which are by for the areas premier league venues. Sorry to the group 6 clubs but waminda and claymore just don't stack up to those grounds and it's great to see local council protect our premier grounds from group 6 use. Sorry guys but I just feel passionate as a rate payer that group 6 should not be played at and on current juniorleague ovals.

The ICC has made the junior stronger and will never give up local grounds or boundaries to group 6.

Out of your 3 posts 2 have included attacks on a member of this forum and your first post was a dig at Group 6.

Is this how you plan to continue?

If so, then you are wasting your time and energy trying to stir up a dead issue. This board is relatively harmonious now and we want it to stay that way.

If you have something constructive to say, do so, if not go away.

Sounds like another personal vendetta against group 6. Your argument is weak about sporting clubs use of campbelltown facilities
" Sorry guys but I just feel passionate as a rate payer that group 6 should not be played at and on current juniorleague ovals."

considering another code namely rugby union in the harlequins have played in different competitions over the years yet still play in campbelltown. I dont think rate payers will give a toss who plays where its only disgruntled league types that do.

The Attack on fullwood is very rich coming from Westjl!!! What did you do when Fullwood res number 2 (which was purpose built for rugby league in 1993) was taken over by Soccer!!! One of the newest grounds for the region just lost to another code!!

The ground was fantastic to play on had the best surface in the comp!!!

With the developments taking place in that area i think what City are doing is a great idea they will a entire area to call home and over time can build it up to a quality ground potential is there!! City could also have Davis park which would be a perfect ground to train on leaving the the main ground for game day!!

With the redevelopment its a smart move!!

Bloody oath Highlander, it seemed we just gave that field away to Southern Districts soccer.

With the redevelopment of Claymore moving a side back to this ground is a great idea. Although the "Senior" team plays in a bordering competition it is still one of the teams that represent the Campbelltown area and always have even before the local Wests Comp started. This is no different to the ICCC as Brighton , Hurstville, Leichhardt etc take longer to travel to and are well out of striking distance compared to other teams.

Whether Wests, ICCC or Group 6 lets take this news with the credit it deserves, it is a great thing for the Claymore / Blairmount / Eaglevale / Woodbine (easy access over the bridge) area and will hopefully only help the image of what will be soon a redeveloped area. Congrats to the Roos and Campbelltown Council for getting this going. :correct:

Well done Roos a great place to build a great venue for footy..knowing your club and those involved in it, it will be a rageing sucess...I dont know why anyone would think rate payers would object, you are doing something amazing for the community building a club for your juniors to play when they become seniors keeping them in the area and provideing a comp for them to play in, a very unselfish act...   a win :winner: win :winner: situation for all...In a few years I see your club growing strong and being the dominate club in group 6 comp , well done city not only for what you have achieved but for never giving up and for the way you went about it . ...

Beefa/Nothappyjan/westjl get over yourself, we know who you are, let the game go forward and with Wests Clubs in the ICCC and Group 6 in Campbelltown it's a win win situation for everyone! Apart from you Beefa/Nothappyjan/westjl there are no other complaints, we are all in a happy place, with the Kangaroos at Claymore, this is a very good idea, with the new development it means under section 94 funding has to put into parks and sporting grounds, the Roos can work in with the developers and get club house, fenced in grounds etc,

On another note, I must say thank you to Campbelltown Council once again, The East Campbelltown JRLFC was successful in granting $100,000 on the next stage of the club house, this is great news and we are doing our best to get our ground up to Group 6 standard, we need to lay the foundations down for our future in Group 6.

This forum is a great place to discuss and promote local rugby league and the Group 6 thread is evidence of this fact - there are occasional dust ups but on the whole it works well. There's absolutely no reason why it can't be the same on this thread but everytime a new poster comes on to this thread they want to use it to stir up trouble again. Then they complain that the forum is anti-west juniors! It's not anti-west juniors, we just want an end to the hostilities so when can enjoy our respective comps.
