Southern Districts and Macarthur Rams still have the old Panthers ground as their own, we are just sharing the facility. We have the old soccer pitch- has a great hill from which to watch footy from. Campbelltown Council offered us to be able to play at Worrell or Milton, but at the end of the day the committee felt quite rightly that we need our own home ground from which to grow a senior club. We thank Mark Berriman and Paul Tosi for their help in this regard. Thanks doggiesgirl- we are blessed to have a lot of good people in the footy club who are determined to see the 'Roos re-emerge as a strong senior Rugby League community. A big thankyou to yourself, Leigh and Appin RLFC/ JRLFC for hosting us at Wonson Park during the past few months. Ironically the field is named after a Kangaroos player of the 1930s, as is Mt Annan's ground (Jack Nash). I don't think anyone disputes our right to be contesting the CRL Group 6 premiership again. |

great to see the passion in these quotes... i really think the set up atm with the icc and group 6 is the best for local footy, especially for the opportunity we are giving our junior players... after all isnt that what we all have in common????? please lets just get on with it and stop the rott.. i think east city and bulls admin are doing a great jod FOR footy. i think the direction west juniors have gone is also great. well done to all of you..... AFTER ALL THATS WHY WE KEEP TURNING UP EVERY WEEK... GO THE BLUES.... |

Good call, it's only a minority that is unhappy with us playing at home, Fullwood Res is a great example of the decision from NSWRL, Rugby League has another oval, I have friends in Minto and Warriors and they all seem to be happy, let's all get on and play Footy, blow that whistle ref, send that ball soaring! |

And yet the soccer was still on. So was the rugby. Anyone know why one sport would be cancelled and others still allowed to play? |

Comes down to the councils, the Group or Federations, individual clubs and there committee, and whether or not it is safe to proceed without injury to players.

Hopefully next weekend isn't a washout as well, it's our women in league round. We are wearing pink jerseys, and it is also our first home game of the year. The boys can't wait to play at Wood Park. Hopefully we get a decent crowd rock up and support the boys. |

23rd of june is our Pink Round, The Tigers club has done a great job raising money and awareness and I find it dissapointing that no other club can do this sort of charity work. It will be great to see our seniors play at home as I for one was absolutly pissed about our last home game being at Warren Ritchie Oval, that is garbage and i'm glad it was called off. Wood park is home of the Tigers and that's where we should play all our games. why would the West Junior League move us there? just another attempt to stop us building, stop our club moving forward, this is always the case from Wests Juniors. Hopefully we can train this week, wood park has been closed on a number of training nights and this weather is really putting a damper on things. |

Ingleburn RSL should have stayed the Burners! Just my opinion though. I understand they were trying to capture the broader audience by pitting the Tigers vs the Bulldogs but the Burners has a better ring to it. (tongue in cheek). |

Just to let you know Lifey, Our club has it's annual McGrath Game against Picton to raise money for the McGrath Foundation, We also have an annual day against Campbelltown City that raises money for the Men of League Foundation, so there is 3 clubs that do charity work for the community, we also enter a number of teams in the 24 Hour Walk Against Cancer, is that enough for you? I do congratulate your Club, it's good to see and yes MORE clubs could do charity work! I agree with footylover, you should be called Burners! The only reason Tigers where put on your jersey was to attract children to your club, doing this has killed off Ingleburn Bulldogs and Mac Fields, let see how the new All Stars perform. |

Liverpool footy clubs tackle $50,000 grants 20 Jun, 2012 12:00 AM http://www.liverpoolchampion.com.au/news/local/sport/general/liverpool-footy-clubs-tackle-50000-grants/2595752.aspx LIVERPOOL junior rugby league clubs are encouraged to apply for sporting grants with Home Timber and Hardware's NRL Grassroots program. Ten $5000 club grants are available and the most deserving entries will win. West Timber and Hardware's store owner Sam Noiosi said the grassroots program supports local rugby league. "Last year the program made a real difference in many communities," he said. Footy clubs with clubhouses that need sprucing up or that have been damaged or need repairs are encouraged to apply. Entries opened on Monday and close on July 27. Clubs simply submit an image of your club and explain why you need a $5000 grant. Winners announced on September 27. To enter: Follow the instructions at facebook.com /hometimberandhardware. |

Good to be back at Wood Park today, with the reserve grade wearing the pink breast cancer jerseys. Both RSL sides coming out winners, with the U/19's downing Collies, unsure of the final score. The reserve grade beating Minto 28-10. Any other scores from today's games |
