You seem fairly optimistic Jan? Are you in the know or part of one of the districts competing in the iccc. |

I really hope you are correct Jan but the following link is the rule book for the ICCC which clearly states the if one district close's due to wet weather the whole round will be abandoned. (ridiculous rule but that is the rule)http://www.sportingpulse.com/get_file.cgi?id=1750434 Section E 12 and E 9 of the rules. If you know of any official changes to this rule please inform us. The way it stands as per the rules is that if (e.g.) If on Friday it rains and any council closes their ground the entire round for all senior teams will be washed out and not be replayed. |

Rugby league is a winter sport. My mate's son plays for Bankstown Sports and he hasn't played for weeks (maybe slightly exagerated but) due to weather and byes and is questioning whats the point of it all. |

My son used to play for Moorebank Rams when it was just a stand alone Canterbury comp. Sure when it rained "heavily" there were some washouts, but I dont remember the whole competition being washed out when just one ground closed. The only trouble with this comp is the washout rule which sadly is killing it. It seems as if it's just too hard for the officials to change a playing venue that is too wet to some where else that is open, so they opted to put the washout rule in place to make it easy. PLEASE CHANGE THIS RULE!!!! |

Been getting bored with all this cancelled footy so I dragged a game out of the vault. Sorry for the low quality but I had to transfer it from a old VHS tape. 2001 u/17s Grand Final All Saints V ESA. I have listed some players on the clip but if anybody can name more please comment on the clip with more names and thier numbers. Just as an example All Saints had Bryce Gibbs, Liam Fulton and Issac DeGois and ESA had Aaron Sweeney. And just as a matter of interest All Saints were coached in 2001 by their current 2012 coach Alan Fry http://www.youtube.com/user/AllSaintsRL?feature=mhee |

Maverick for your information: ESA won the under 17’s Grand Final 22-16. The All Saints team on Sunday 16 September 2001 at Campbelltown Stadium was: Fullback: Gary Helou Winger: Dominic Wright Centre: Aaryn Longmore (later played with Wests Jersey Flegg) Centre: Clinton O’Hanlon Winger: Matthew Hardman Five Eight: Brett McGlaughlin Half: Mark Barnes (played most of his career at ESA) Prop: Blair Merchant (later played with Sydney Bulls Bundy) Hooker: Nathan Brown Prop: Bryce Gibbs (later played with Wests Tigers & Cronulla NRL) 2nd Row: Matthew Blunden (played Bundy and All Saints/Campbelltown Eagles both Group 6 1st gde) 2nd Row: Liam Fulton (later played with Wests Tigers NRL) Lock: Isaac DeGois (later played with Cronulla & Newcastle NRL) Interchange: Scott Edwards, Ismail Kataiech, Alex Talagi, Todd Hepplewhite, Travis Austen, Grant Thomas, Brendon Grech (played Camden Rams 2nds). Interestingly in 2001 in the Major Semi Final played at Hillier Oval ESA defeated All Saints 24-10 but the result was aided by the man in the middle with FOUR All Saints players being sent off (not sin binned), the following week at Oswald Reserve All Saints bounced back to defeat Campbelltown Collegians in the Final 30-24 (after extra time). |

Your a walking talking encyclopedia All Saints. So are all games on this weekend? P.S I just had a look and found both the games you mentioned. I haven't watched them yet but had a quick look and have both on the one VHS tape. I have to see who was sent off, I've had a few sleeps since then

After watching All Saints skipping to a 32-0 halftime lead against St Chistophers you would have thought that it would be easy from there but somebody forgot to tell St Christophers. All Saints came out in the second half and quickly made it 36-0 and I think that was pretty much all, All Saints seen of the ball as St Christophers piled on 30 points to nearly snatch the game back. Full time All Saints 36 St Christophers 30. Watch the game ESA also defeated Fivedock 38-0 Edited by Maverick, Jul 16 2012, 09:22 AM.

Come on people Ozzy is right. It was commented to me yesterday that nobody reads this forum any more but if you look at the stats on the top of the page we have had more than 30,000 hits since this thread started. So people are reading it.I know a lot of you would like to, but wont come out and make comments any more as they were critisized when they did, and understandably so, it was easier to not make any comments. But since things have settled a bit between West's and G6 the nasty comments seem to have abated. Sure you get the occasional "dodo" but I can say this, the negative "dodo" comments will be deleted as I have been made a moderator, and will delete any do-do. If you read my comments for as long back as you want to look, you will find I dont do it and dont condone it. I have been doing my best to promote the games for All Saints and local footy and surely the other teams can pick someone to do the same. give scores, put up match reports, new signings, injuries, predictions for weekend games and the like. Most sides have people that video thier games, lets see more on UTube. (its not that hard and if any body needs any advise on how please PM me) I love the Titan's games on the radio and find this the most innovative idea of 2012 for Titan's and congratulate them for this, I just wish 2GLF would look at making it a shared idea to promote all of our local footy. I can also now make public that All Saint's signed 2 retired ex Bundy players/brothers, Jamie and Alan Burns. Unfortunatly for us they are not available all games due to job commitments, but when they are, their experience is invaluable. I am still waiting for somebody from ESA to get back to either here or the UTube site so that I can finish naming their 2001 u/17s Grand Final side. (even PM me the side if you dont want to do it publicly) One of the Dalton boys has put a few names up. Plenty happening each week guys and gals win or lose promote your game and post your comments |

I checked the ICCC web site last night, do these people work office hours only, noticed they have finally been put up, for $100,000 a year some double time and a half would be incorperated into geting results up on Sunday nights. Our guys had a hard day travelling to woop woop and then geting wooped 32-16, our guys showed plenty of guts and determination and we would have a few boys sore and sorry today. I dont care about us geting beat as long as those sinking Titanics didnt drop down a division just to try and win a comp. I'm sick of them geting favors from wests junior league, when are you going to treat all clubs equal. |
