If Wests have any Grand Finals they will be at enclosed grounds in order to obtain revenue for the Wests JL. I've heard but not confirmed that Campbelltown Stadium may be booked for the planned ICCC Grand Finals and another enclosed ground would have to be used by Wests JL. Other suitable enclosed gounds would be Hillier Oval or Warren Ritchie (Milton Park) or ????. Grand Finals have been played at Hiilier in past years. Imagine if Wests get the trifecta of Grand Finals: A Grade Valley v Titans, A Res 1 ESA V All Saints, A Res 2 Ingleburn RSL v Warriors. I'd imagine the NSW ICCC wouldn't be happy.

So Maverick just off topic slightly do you believe the iccc is here to stay for wests juniors clubs? Or would clubs prefer a stand alone for 2013 maybe. Some iccc rules and wash outs seem to frustrate but overall looks like it works well and evens out clubs which allows weaker teams to play at thier level. Valley v Burners or Titans v ESA in a west comp would be blow outs to the Valley and Titans in a wests comp so iccc I think is good for wests clubs.

Your thoughts?

I can't agree more, sure there are teething problems, the rain rule probably the biggest issue, ground inequality another, but I think for the good of the game, that can be worked out, by people who care enough to want to make it work. If the ICCC split up we would go back to the same infighting we had before as we dont have enough sides to be equal in one comp. West's have 8 A Grade sides in 3 grades and all seem well graded in ability for what they are playing in. But that would not work if all played in one comp. Players would just leave and teams would fold. I would like to see a first and reserve format like G6 but the comp needs to grow before that can be workable. We have a great junior base so if the younger ones can see a good road ahead, then they may stay in the game longer. :winner: :winner: :winner:

And whether it's here to stay? Only time will tell, but let's hope so :correct:

Figure of speech dear Maverick - but that's my point - Joint Premiers - what do you celebrate - you'll never know who was the best - Newtown and Wenty (i think) State Cup Grand Final went on forever but they finally got a winner. I suppose after a few drinks all will be forgotten. Easy for me I suppose as I only run the water and am not taking the hits.
Maybe I can get a Gig with the the local paper called "Dear Maverick" pretty hard to get people talking around here. Even the paper's seem to pretty much ignore footy in Liverpool, even the sponsored ones.
Your doing a great job Mav, since everyone is playing Footy, it seems like people have just got on with the job wether Group 6 or ICCC, I've always said this and I've always been bagged for it, but promote your club no matter what comp, any promotion for your club is a promotion for the game.

That sucks. Way to many forfeits :nono:

Why not see if we can move the All Saints game to 3pm and see if the Titan's radio guy would call the game seen as though they have booked their time and the radio time anyhow. :correct:

Here are the rules

http://www.sportingpulse.com/get_file.cgi?id=1750434

There does not seem to be a clear answer, but I "believe" that if they are registered in A Grade then they cant play reserve grade. All Saints may be able to be clearer on that ???

That's the same conclusion that I came to Mav, the rule isn't 100% clear, but the way I read them is that it isn't possible to play down a grade

Each team must name a squad for the division they play in. Players can't move down in division but can play up a grade but once they play 3 games, they have to stay up. This is how it was explained to me at the start of the year.

No Body from Titans put up a match report from the Hurstville game, it sounded like a thriller. :correct:
You too have been a bit slack there Mr All Saints, your game descriptions have been fantastic.
Any Body else???
Its because the Titans lost, they only post things or go in the Liverpool paper when they win.

I dont trust the Titanics and if they turn up with any players from A Grade, its off to the RSL for a few beers. No way we are going to play them if they try and rort the game. Burner and I know what they are like.

I talked to Dennis the other day from Eaglevale, he told me that they have only played half a season due to forfiets and washouts, a lot of unhappy campers at ESA, and they will be really sad if they make finals and lose due to match fitness, Dennis said they have a good trainer that has been helping them out.

I would have thought the radio station 2GLF would have a responsibility to it's listening audience to put some thing on related to local footy as that is what they advertise. If not the All Saints game then the Valley - Burwood game would be a great alternative. :correct:

It hasn't been a bed of roses for Saint's either. We have had 2 broken legs, our 2 new signings now unavailable through work comittments and our 2 Italian forwards are going home to Italy. Starting to feel like the West Tigers having so much talent unavailable for the business end of the season.

But we will be ready for ESA next week with still a pretty reasonable side I think.

P.S you can assure Dennis that WE wont be forfeiting.
