" no way", we are from the western suburbs and our rugby league has always been played like this. what is that supposed to mean? What Sunday's violence was ok because that's just the valley? That's just the way it is? Maybe have a look at how footy is now dead in wests & see decent people flocking to soccer & afl Maybe if wests dealt with neddy years ago, there won't be many tears for neddy.

After taking a 3k loss you'd think the 2 clubs would strugge to front up with 10k These are junior rugby league clubs on limited budgets and seems a nice way of saying bye bye your gone by the wests junior league which I think needs commending and been well over due. Really bigkahoona, do you really believe the better option is to get rid of another club in the western suburbs, considering the limited clubs now. I fail to see how it's long overdue to rid the dying clubs that exist now. I'm absolutely appalled that both clubs received an extra $10,000 fine on top of the $3000. Why? You ask. At no time during this match were any players placed on report, sent to the bin or sent off for an "altercation". Surely commonsense states therefore no players from the titans or the valley had anything to answer to the board. Secondly an altercation commenced after the full time bell, where a spectator, "a minor from an outside district club", persude one of the brothers your referring to. As a spectator that day, the issues started and finished outside the paddock. What I believe is both clubs were severly penalized for the actions of idiotic twits, provided that, by the referee, there were no offences committed on the field. So honestly if you think by being harsh on these clubs, hoping they would fold due to lack of finances, who then would you go and watch and/or support as your local. Well I guess there will be no more conversations on this forum as there wouldn't be a forum. One thing that was really dishearting to see amongst all the commotion that day, was the bitter disappointment and disarray of both coaches and staff. Seeing poor Denise sitting on table expressionsly and Toss blowing up about how sick he felt about the fighting. But you know, it's much better to get rid of them and the clubs they put their heart in soul in. " no way", we are from the western suburbs and our rugby league has always been played like this. I agree that both clubs will find it hard to come up with the extra $, Maybe being banished for the rest of the year and a larger bond next year may suffice as punishment. As for the statement that this is the way we play here in the western suburbs -meaning if not off the field then on it? well this is why G6 has wiped the combined comp. Plus teams leaving to join it, and the young 17-*20 year old (reggies) refusing to play up. It is the responsibility of all clubs to control their supporters and make sure players don't get involved in after match stoushes or face the consequenses.

This why I delete do-do. A man loses his mum, and people on here are bagging him out for something out of his control as he was with his dying mother. GROW UP people and show some common decency.
My sincerest condolances to the whole Brown family.

My reference to playing in the western suburbs was based on hard, physical footy. Again I stated that it was my "opinion" that the penalties were harsh considering it was not a supporter of the titans or the valley that ensighted the brawl etc. Hit & spin, where do you get off naming the valley as the face of violence, mate precisely why the moderators have to continually warn and delete stupid comments and to be personal naming neddy, how the hell do you warrant a personal dislike for a player reflect on the whole club. Just like personal dislikes towards brownie should not reflect the efforts of the whole club. What's most comical of your comments was blaming violence as the cause for the diminished west comp, haha is that the reason for the marches, protest, conferences etc etc " newsflash" it was many reasons, main one that comes to mind was administration changes, a fair go for all clubs, ridiculous sanctions/ fines, funding etc , didn't know violence was the cause of the whole comp falling to bits. To say also that is reason why players are flocking to soccer & AFL wake up and smell the roses, parramatta comp are flourishing " is that why Harold Mathews were grand final premiers 2012. That's right cause we're sooooo violent. Penrith comp largest amount of juniors registered. It's obvious you have no idea about grass roots junior league cause your shooting your mouth off way to early. As for being assumed as a advocate for the valley, I've previously stated I do not support a particular club, I support all clubs in the area, I personally enjoy watching them this year as I love the underdogs, the team no one gives a chance, the club everyone refers to as grubs etc etc, did you's all forget who won the 9's. As for valleyboyz, i dont think the club or team back your silly comments.

My sincerest condolances to the whole Brown family. Agree again maverick, our deepest condolences on the loss of your mother and we do hope that you have privacy and time to mourn without the unessary notification of silly people making comments to you personally. I apologize that there are rude inconsiderate people who are adding to your loss.

I don't want to see clubs booted bigots up to the clubs to control off field issues inside their grounds also your club runs the day and is responsible. Group 6 seem to do it well the ICC should be no different. "hold on", didn't you just say quote- unquote" which I think needs commending and is well overdue" a nice way as you put it to say bye bye to these clubs. Now your saying you don't want any club kicked out. I am well aware it should be up to clubs hosting home games to be more vigilant about violence as I repeat myself again At what options should these clubs exaust, the governing body has not been forthcoming in supplying information to rectify it and for goodness sake, why does the G6 keep getting a mention on what works for them, may work for us, didn't know they were the only successful rugby league in NSW. Look outside the little square R.L boxes you's sit in.

Everyone knows I'm not a Darcy Fan, and i wont comment on him due to his circumstances, I will comment on his club, is it just me or is it a scary place to play at Jardine park? i have heard that the Titans was also fined $1,500 for breeches in alcohol rules, when I had been there, it was frightning to see and hear the language from intoxicated supporters. People withlong necks in brown paper bags, Im not a fan of wests juniors but I appluade the stance they have taken on this club and the Valley, 2 clubs I have never wanted to see my son play against and yes they deserve everything that has come to them. Good on you Julie Luke, finally being a tough leader that this area needs, does anyone know if Collies lost there $3,000 bond for the fight they had the week before that seen the game abanded?

Well lifemember, we'll just sit and wait to see if collies receive the same punishment 'shall we', will you then agree that they deserve everything they get. Oh please why? Would you personally thank Julie Luke for her tough stance now? Ahh how many years of non progress, too late. Isn't it ironic you mention the brown paper bags of long necks and the valley are the violent blah blah blahs. You know what guys I'm really over hearing this so called rivalry and mug stereotypes about the titans vs valley vs the whole west comp etc. This once active and rife comp died in the late 1980's. Move on people, maybe someone can reply to my 1st post regarding options on how clubs can best manage their home grounds. Plenty of know alls about how? Clubs have to take responsibility , well any suggestions??? Instead of being stirrers.

It's a shame coz what we should be talking about is how good a Game it was A hard tough game of footy and a draw was a fair result
There was a similar thing happened in manly comP a few weeks Ago which was way worse than this But they received alot less punishment ( 1 club banned for. A cpl Of games)

Yet again at no surprise no one has stepped up and answered my question or suggested an alternative approach to controlling crowds. Mmm at all the so called opinionated know alls, please stand up. That's right you's actually get a sick satisfaction out of naming and shaming players, clubs, presidents based on personal opinions and comment about how this club and that club deserve to be dragged through the mud, yet your own backyard is a pig pen. Very uneducated and pety comments guys, funny to me how ones intelligence of rugby league, intimidates people and yes as a female, many men have found it extremely difficult to have a comeback. All I can say is, the moderators would of had many hours of laughter and wtf ?? At the air head mentality of some of these comments, but hey let's join up again next week to bag more players and clubs, cause it's just fantastic how we're being sooo proactive at changing the face of the wests community. If anyone who is actually honest about solutions!!! Please make my day!

Liquer licences, fenced ground, ground managers,pa systems, signage, call police if a trouble making is identified there is lots of ways to control your venue, most of all screen who you bring into your club players and officials.
Go up to Waminda today and take notes of the Eagles and how they run a controlled venue with 4 games of rugby league.

Are titans and valley playing today?? Brown lady luck Dan?? One of the comments above has stated that Valley has forfeited, This also means that Titans cannot make the semi's as they needed Valley to defeat St George Dragons and themselves to win over Moorebank. Seeing as its the last game for Titans and they cant make the semis due the Valley forfeit will they put up the 10K ???

The pre season win against the titans. Just like all the haters being personal against the titans and brownie, stigma and innuendo. As for valleyboyz, i dont think the club or team back your silly comments.
The grubbines and violence on the field is one of the main reason I refuse to play in any west comp and the other reason was officials not dealing with it ... And that was your choice to do so!, however there are many who choose to play in this comp and are proud to be affiliated with their clubs.
