Got to feel sorry for Collies 19-2s, they get dropped to div 2 after being out of their depth in div 1 and only lose 2 games from then on (one to the competition leaders by only 2) and still cant make semi's. (the rain rule gave them no chance)
Thanks Maverick, Our guys are very disheartend by this years competition. We got smashed playing sides that where full of Rep players while our players on the verge of National 20's where given to Burwood bundy, We lost young men that went to better avenues and after Round 7 getting belted we finally was put in a division that suited our guys, we where given no hope to make semis with the wash out 's and that rule is bull sh@#t, while we had no games neighbouring Group 6 played rain hail or shine. Our guys have had some good news with the coach saying that the Collegians Committee has informed him we will be playing in Group 6 next year. So I'm not sure if a compromise has happened and the combined competition is back or our club is going to seek to play Group 6 with the other Campbelltown clubs. But I say that is good news for these young men, watch out footy mum and Mac Bulls, here we come.

The Tigers are in the Semis, You Bloody beauty. we are looking forward to playing Minto at the Stadium, how they have fallen from last years Wests Premiers, but I'm positive that Matty will have our guys firing on all pistons. I cant wait, I'm like a kid in a candy store and my son is roaring like a Tiger. I will also mention about the so call brawl at our last Juniors game, it was nothing and really should never of been bought up, it was about our under 10's team and an unhappy parent thinking his son is better than he really is, a little push and shove was all it was and our very good committee members handled the situation well and should be congratulated for not letting it esculate.

GO YOU TIGERS, TIGERS ALL THE WAY BABY.

Silly season kicking off already but word is that the bloke who was supposed to coach Appin- Paul Jarvis will be coaching Collies in G6 in 2013, with the Graham brothers, Tim Dengate & Josh Radford as major signings already.

I would be surprised if the Group 6 clubs vote to allow any more Wests teams into their comp. It would have to go to the AGM at the end of the season. I think most of the G6 clubs are happy with the comp as it is.

To write a cheque you have to have that sort of money in the account and I couldnt see Valley having that sort of cash, no disrespect to valley intended, but if they write a cheque and dont have that money in the account that is fraud. I think the Wests Juniors have gone over the top and I hope Valley get to play semi finals this week, did the Titans pay for their cheque for last weeks game, I bet you not. On the Titans they must be bitterly dissapointed, falling short of a Sydney Shield team and thier own A Grade and Reserve Grade teams not making Semi Finals, imagine the floggings they would of got if they stayed in Sydney Shield, well they did get hammered by Auburn by 100.

To be fair they did beat us by 80 they were a
Very good side , simple Thing is they held the
Ball we didn't have much Ball and when we did
We just played dumb footy
They had a 20 man squad
We had nearly 40 ( alot of ours were kids
That day) Whicj meant alot of changes through the game
Not making any excuses
And we just didn't play well they did and score
Showed that

On our seasons this yr
We did have alot of injuries
In both sides
There quite a few games when we lost
That we should of won

But well learn from
It a come back better for it next

Goodluck to all teams in the semis

N look forwad to next year

Unfortunately black and white your clubs won't have a vote.
The ARL commission will rail rd through the South west corridor league consisting of group 6 and wests clubs for 2013. Take it as gospel at your own peril but don't be surprised once it comes into play so yes you will see Collies in 1st grade 2013.

It will be a real shame when that happens and there will be a lot of very unhappy people around here. Group 6 have a good product and a successful comp - why destroy something that works?

When was the last time you heard of anybody even going to court for writing a cheque that falls short of the funds. In fact usually the person cashing the cheque will be charged a dishonour fee and there is very little you can do about it.

In saying that I have been since informed the 10K bond is to take part in next years competition, so I am unsure what sanctions were made for the rest of this competition. :cstars:

I am also led to believe that there are appeals being heard today ??? :dunno:

Not going to happen Big Fella.....your mail is not correct. NSWRL are to take control of senior footy in all metro area and bring it in line with other competitions. Wests JL and their private entity also being looked at but they will lose control of senior footy and really will only have junior ie 17 years and under, to look after. That is what is on the discussion table but nothing confirmed.

Any talk of a combined comp or Wests taking over Group 6 etc is BS, and if things go the way they are going it is likely be the other way around with Wests JL losing out big time.

hi all...does anyone care to post a fantasy market for the finals series in all grades? would be interesting to see what sort of odds different teams get put up
Cant give odds but my tips would be

A Grade Hurstville (Valley lost far too many players to be a chance) and I haven't seen Burwood play, :dunno:

A Res Penshurst (ESA bigger and stonger but Penshurst very fast and disiplined) All Saints would need to pull a rabbit from a hat.

A Res 2 Renown.... Although Warriors could be a chance.

19-1s Bankstown Sports

19-2s Arncliffe
