Got to feel sorry for Collies 19-2s, they get dropped to div 2 after being out of their depth in div 1 and only lose 2 games from then on (one to the competition leaders by only 2) and still cant make semi's. (the rain rule gave them no chance)
Thanks Maverick, Our guys are very disheartend by this years competition. We got smashed playing sides that where full of Rep players while our players on the verge of National 20's where given to Burwood bundy, We lost young men that went to better avenues and after Round 7 getting belted we finally was put in a division that suited our guys, we where given no hope to make semis with the wash out 's and that rule is bull sh@#t, while we had no games neighbouring Group 6 played rain hail or shine. Our guys have had some good news with the coach saying that the Collegians Committee has informed him we will be playing in Group 6 next year. So I'm not sure if a compromise has happened and the combined competition is back or our club is going to seek to play Group 6 with the other Campbelltown clubs. But I say that is good news for these young men, watch out footy mum and Mac Bulls, here we come.
Silly season kicking off already but word is that the bloke who was supposed to coach Appin- Paul Jarvis will be coaching Collies in G6 in 2013, with the Graham brothers, Tim Dengate & Josh Radford as major signings already.
Paul Jarvis didn't happen this year cause he couldn't attract the players, so doubt next year any different for collies. Someone else in the talk.
Appin will be pushing for 1st grade, but not with Paul Jarvis. The collies thing about going to group 6, would be interesting as group 6 have put out there that there is two or three clubs from campbelltown never to be accepted. Collies, saints are a couple, especially after collies infamous pub stouch.
Collies tried to enter group 6 this year, they were asked for a $10000 bond just to apply.
They will struggle to convince group 6 to have em back.
I believe that the 19's coach at collies will not continue with seniors has he had enough of this years comp and I know him well.
And Ronnie welcome to the world of real competition, it was all right when Collies and ESA with 7 or 8 rep players each, belted the do-do outta all the competition in Campbelltown, now how do you think all them kids was feeling. Should remember those days before complaining.

Think he may be talking about macarthur saints mav.

If it wasn't for the travel all saints wouldn't have a problem being accepted into G6 IMHO.

Any news on the Titans/Valley appeals? Have the 2 Valley boys fronted the judiciary yet?
I am told Neddy got 6 weeks and his brother Fardy got 12 months. It seems as though Neddy is a protected species :cstars:

I am also told the Titans crowd behaviour is again under scrutinty, as the Moorebank club president is not very happy with what was said to him by them.

I think some good person from Titans should contact Dave and apologise to him and see if it can be sorted.

hi all...does anyone care to post a fantasy market for the finals series in all grades? would be interesting to see what sort of odds different teams get put up
Cant give odds but my tips would be

A Grade Hurstville (Valley lost far too many players to be a chance) and I haven't seen Burwood play, :dunno:

A Res Penshurst (ESA bigger and stonger but Penshurst very fast and disiplined) All Saints would need to pull a rabbit from a hat.

A Res 2 Renown.... Although Warriors could be a chance.

19-1s Bankstown Sports

19-2s Arncliffe
Don't ride our guys off, we will give it to Minto tomorrow. And to Cathy we all know what a great job you do for the Tigers, don't let a day like today discourage you. I think group 6 would take our guys and we will need to look at that as a possibility, our guys and Hursty will back this up really has has enough of this ICCC and the Wests Juniors.

I would be surprised if the Group 6 clubs vote to allow any more Wests teams into their comp. It would have to go to the AGM at the end of the season. I think most of the G6 clubs are happy with the comp as it is.
Unfortunately black and white your clubs won't have a vote.
The ARL commission will rail rd through the South west corridor league consisting of group 6 and wests clubs for 2013. Take it as gospel at your own peril but don't be surprised once it comes into play so yes you will see Collies in 1st grade 2013.
Who are you Bigkahoona and if this is true where is your supporting evidence or is it you are trying to upset apple cart again...I dont think group 6 clubs will worry about this untill it is set in concrete....
I'd dare say Group 6 would run the south wests corridor as they have the better product and I'd say only 2 possibly 3 wests clubs would be playing in amongst other group 6 clubs.

From what I'm informed a northern conference set up will form for wests clubs similar to a 2nd tier comp and be controlled by Group 6 in line with the main competition that Group 6 have now. So in essence Group 6 will take control and set up a conference for wests clubs and a few will be possibly playing in the main tier if they can prove worthy.

I dare say group 6 would have other options ready to go like having their own comp like Carlton league or newcastle comp like.. group6 and the clubs won't be dictated to ...

All Saints blew a another 16 - 0 lead today to be 28 all at full time. The game went into golden point and Berala got a field goal to win.....Or did they? There is no golden point rule in ICCC rules unless 5 mins of extra time each way has been played. :cstars:

More to follow???? :dunno:

We have no chance... Even if the game is replayed midweek we would be lucky to put a competitive side on the field and the winner of that would have to back up on Sunday against Penshurst who went down 25-24 to ESA

It should have been finalised today (sent back out to replay the extra time) but the refs went home and would have no part of it.

Thank you Hursty for your efforts this year, typical Minto turn up with guys I've never seen all year and give it to our guys. The best thing is we made semis that we planned to do and we didn't come last, I know who did come last and they where coached by a super coach, or so he thinks. It was a poor crowd at the Stadium and I really am over the Wests Juniors, did anyone get a program at the gate yesterday?
