Clubs have to stay firm and give the ICCC another go, surely it wasn't that bad, i seen a couple of games and apart from the poor crowds and standard, it was better than what was played out here for many years. |

Come on people, apart from the rain rule, was it all that bad. Change that and I think most teams would happily go around again. |

from what i saw there is definatly something good there in the iccc...just a few things need adjustment. but you get that with any new venture, i thought most of our clubs can hang their heads high with what has transpired this year, sure there was that little balls up at jardine but thats just life and mishaps happen from time to time...i think hats off to a team like the warriors..coming from what had been happening with their seniors for a while, every time i watched them they had improved and they were very level headed when it came to dirty stuff etc...sure they had under 20's last year but did anyone else see their reserve grade? they would forefiet after halftime when esa and the like had put 30 or 40 on them..so hats off to the current coach...who ever he is..ive never seen him before..someone help me on that one. and also i was surprised with minto...they have been alot better this year on and off the field given the reputaion they havve to hats off to jed and the boys...i could go on about every team but i wont, it was a pretty good year if you ask me for all teams in the area..there is definatly something there to build on so congratulation to EVERYONE |

A positive comment! Refreshing to read somebody else trying to encourage sides rather than bag them out when they are trying to do their best.

Iccc wasn't that bad As a player it was frustrating in regards to wash outs and home Games but both can be fixed Apart from that it wasn't pretty good Most of the refs were pretty fair A few need glasses though But yeah will bUt will be interesting to see what happens But I can't speak for other clubs but I know The titans will bounce back after a disappointing 2012 in a and b grade |

The issue is that in most cases it's the councils that make the decisions about wet weather and grounds. They have often erred on the side of the ridiculous, closing grounds at the hint of rain. You can't blame the competition for ground closures. But if a game can go ahead then it should - it's easier to catch up on a couple of rained out games than a full round. |

Well the issue was that we lost about 5 rd to rain Now alot of them were called off on the fri N had perfect the weekend to play now maybe they Could look at having a back ground or even set a side 3 wkends for catch up Would make for a fairer comp All our byes fell on the wash out wkends We didn't get the points I'm sure we weren't the only side but Those byes could of cost a side in the semis I know we got the wooden spoon but if u look at The ladder we actually won more games than the 2 teams above us And mostly grounds were closed in balmain As soon as a dog peed on the ground But that 1 ground caused the whole comp to be washed Out U look at all the other districts most had only 1 washout all year we had 4 or 5 It has to be fixed that's not enough footy |

In a reshuffle at all levels of the game in the area word is the wests DRLFC will assume control over the wests jrl, and will also look after as they do Harold Matthews & s g ball teams. I gather that in order for the club to become the areas district club again they had to relinquish their last snr team ( nsw cup) as a compromise to the wests tigers. This means wests tigers the "brand" will be at the top 3 tiers of rugby league ( nrl, nyc, nsw cup) & will play in alternate jumpers & grounds (LO, CD). NSWRL still needs to approve the clubs request to join nsw cup.Wests ashfield will fund the nsw cup side and ryde eastwood will have no more naming rights just a sponsor if they wish. Members will be required to vote on this proposal.

The wests juniors grand finals finished up over the weekend and I have to say i have become so annoyed with members of our club, with the do-do they have gone on about, please dont get me wrong on what im going to write, I agree women have a place in the game but when a club is run by far too many women, it doesnt work. I am fed up with the constant back stabbing and the do-do talk between members and I'm pissed to contiually hear that the club only cares about an Under 13's division 1. If you keep going you are going to lose players and good players at that. |

AS IF that is going to happen, Wests District club is GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. you have nothing now and you never will have anything, as much as you can dream, the Wests Tigers hold the Mats, Ball and 13's 14's and 15's development, which when you brake it down it is vertually run by rodgers and the Wests Juniors, you only had a premier league this year and now you have nothing. Wests Juniors can not be touched and they will be the Wests Tigers Junior Rugby League PTY LTD next year, I cant see a deal being made to over see the Junior League, this has been tried before and failed, time to say goodbye Magpies Hello Tigers, and no Brownie, we will not be changing from the Tigers, NEVER EVER, we where Tigers first. |

Wests Juniors maybe the worst run Junior League in Australia, but they cannot be removed so an easier option would be giving the Tigers control and they will see that the Wests Juniors also controls Group 6, wait and see, McDonald runs the show and he spent the past couple of weeks at the Juniors Grand Finals, his not going to let Tigers wipe her out! |

McDonnell himself is not safe - his job and the others in the Football dept are under review so he not going to be any help if he is moved on. You need to understand that the NRL clubs don't control the junior representative competitions, and whilst NRL clubs have good relationships with their junior leagues they essentially are different corporations. NSWRL run the district competitions and if they don't like what happened this year with ICCC then they want to control and run it to their satisfaction, as they can't trust the numerous JL's that had their hands in the pie with different rules for judiciaries etc. Wests JL is out of favour with the powerbrokers at the moment. |

Well our 19s team stayed in 1st division and took our medicine. We toughed it out. What did Collies and Titans do? Be big heroes and drop to 2nd Division. What you got to say about that? LCC will be back in the ICCC next season, a few bumps and bruises need to be knocked out, especially the wet weather policy. But the comp worked well, the footy was competitive and Wests Juniors did a good job getting us into such a strong comp at short notice. We will be aiming for a reserve grade team and 19s again in 2013. We have the best juniors in Liverpool and will be a strength in seniors if we plan it right. We sure ain't here to develop players to see them choof off to that Titans mob
