The Clayton Cup is a trophy awarded by the Country Rugby League to the NSW Country Rugby League team with the best overall record for that season. To be eligible, the team must win the highest level of competition in its region. Usually the winner of the Clayton Cup goes through the season undefeated. The Cup was donated by Reuben Clayton, an early rugby league administrator in country NSW, and was first awarded in 1937 to West Tamworth. Since then, the Tweed Head Seagulls and Forster-Tuncurry have been the most successful clubs, each winning the trophy three times. Congratulations on behalf of the Country Rugby League to all involved at Campbelltown Eagles. Its First Time Campbelltown side has won this.

Darcy is still on board, hahahahaha, couldn't give up the car hey. I knew it was too good to be true, oh poor me, poor this, poor that. I should make up a Jumper with his head on it and have "love that car" on it, its only a $200 Mistibishi Express Van, you cant be that desperate to hang onto it. |

Maybe I nice way of him saying I'm Not up to it but still want the perks i.e the van haha Titans need a fresh look and mr brown couldn't handle disiine within his club so a good move that someone else steps in and try's to clean up the mess he has left behind. My prediction Titans = 0 senior teams 2013 |

Not a whole lot to say at this time, but this is what I have been told. Regretably, Brian Harvey has retired as All Saints chairman after many years of service and a very capable person by the name of Steve O'Brien has taken the helm. All Saints plan to run 3 grades next year (A, A res and 19's) but this will depend on numbers. Training is sheduled to start on the 4/12/2012 and any players that may be interested are welcome to come down. There is also a BBQ set down for 21/12/2012 any new player would be welcome. Alan Fry is coming back as head coach and Charlie Allum assistant coach or maybe reserve grade coach if we get the numbers. 3 trials matches have already been put in place for March, and I "assume" we will be playing in the ICCC. |

On behalf of the Campbelltown Eagles we would like to congratulate Richard Barnes and coaching staff for this amazing achievement! We would also like to congratulate every Senior Player within our club, the past couple is season we have seen our senior sides become 1 club that play for each other with the common goal to play 1st Grade! I would also like to thank the Group 6 Management and the Group 6 clubs with such a great competition and we have made some great friendships. finally our committee, i am so proud to be associated with such a hard working group of volunteers. We have always put the clubs reputation and players first, this award goes to everyone involved in the Eagles! |

Only if they apply to the Group 6 General Committee to be affiliated and the Group 6 clubs vote to accept them at the AGM. Why do people think that it is just a matter of a club saying, "we're playing in Group 6 next year", even if the info comes out of the Ruse pub? Ask Mac Bulls, Eagles & Roos if it is as easy as saying we're playing in Group 6. They have had to jump through hoops to get there. No one really knows what is going to happen with rugby league next year. Not even those who are employed by the ARL, NSWRL & the CRL. I will be very surprised if another Campbelltown club comes into Group 6. Edited by Black&White, Oct 6 2012, 08:53 PM.

Well that's fantastic but why would you think Group 6 would be interested in another club? It seems to me that the Group 6 comp is pretty good as it is. |

Granted that what has happened to senior footy in your area is a disaster for Rugby League but unless your clubs' committees grow a backbone and stand up to the JL, nothing is going to change. |

And that violent front rower you had Ben Ishiaha. Legs like oak trees. Appin was a top joint to play at and then have a beer at the pub over the road. |
