Using precedent where G6 players were not charged fees, the fee is not payable and Wests JRL could be liable for emotional damages caused to the players. WSJ want to tread carefully here, esp. as there has been a lot of good will from Ashfield and the football club in terms of opening dialogue with Campbelltown Leagues, and apparently Campbelltown have been pretty accommodating too. All that good work being peed against a wall by a bolshie JL could see the JL frozen out by the Wests Group. |

To Roos forever, as a supporter of grass roots footy, am genuinely sorry that your club and possibly more to come have once again been faced with such a unjust, appalling , political excuse to break your club and players. This is surely a gee up or a deliberate form of sabotage. My god, these kids just want to play footy. its so dishearting I tell you. I must commend you and your committee for not hesitating to pay these funds so that your little Roos can enjoy our beloved game, without your support of them, surely they'd end up on the wrong path due to boredom. More power to you guys and will continue to battle with you's. |

I do not agree with this, whomever voted or applied this fee should be sacked immediately, this is not a good look for kids of our area, I would blow my stack if I had to pay $750 for MY SON to transfer, I would knock walls down if anyone stopped my son from going where he wants. |

This is just another volley in a long running attack on those Campbelltown clubs that dared to do what was best for their players and come into the G6 comp. My god, if the JL with WT backing put half as much effort into running their comp as they do into spiteful revenge attacks, imagine how good the JL comp would be! This is the problem when you have people running the show who are answerable to no one. There are no checks and balances on their behaviour and the JL clubs are obviously too weak to demand that they get on with the job they are paid for. Instead of lurking on this forum, looking for posts to get their knickers in a twist about, or to scream "slander & defamation" about a comment they don't like, why don't they make use of it instead to promote their clubs and comps? Why not post some info about what is going with their junior clubs or senior teams in the ICCC? Surely there are some good things happening? There is not much commonsense in punishing kids who played in your comp, they have siblings who play, relations who play and friends that play - where is the sense in alienating more people for short term revenge? And as for West Tigers, why are we surprised at their behaviour? It's par for the course - they don't give a rat's ar#@ about this area, it's all about what they can get out of it. For a pair of shorts & socks and a couple of training sessions we'll have $750 thank you! |

Why am I hearing rumors that Luke Williams, who played for Balmain Ryde Eastwood on Sunday against the Magpies is not only a local Campbelltown boy, but hasn't completed his local clubs clearances, instead was just re-registered with a new ARL number by the Wests Tigers. What is going on!!! |
