So once again they are at the mercy of the clubs? If the clubs still don't want them then what?
There not prisoners at a jail mate and they don't fall into the hands of other clubs I bet you were hoping they do..CRL are running the mediation so no secrets are held behind closed doors like the last voting episode

I won't be at this meeting, I'm in Broken Hill next week.
Can someone confirm for me, that at the last group meeting all the persons involved at Claymore were suspended by the group until they front the tribunal?
And thats how it should be, If a few have done wrong then yes punish them, but to hold that against the poor bastards that have done NO wrong and just want to play footy again is not right. Punish were its deserved to whom deserves it but not the other 55 players thats just wrong :finger:

Very quite on here must not be good news
Depends what you consider good news.
Just saw this on the easts supporters fb page:

We have finished the meeting and they have asked for the good of Rugby League we get back together, they asked us to mediate and we have a meeting with all Group 6 clubs on Tuesday to sort out issues and get back playing next week.
Clubs could now be difficult and 'mediate' out for another week or two, just to let Eagles know their place and can't dictate the way things are to be done.
But isn't that exactly what you are trying to do pastrami and black and white, certainly does seem a bit more even, it seems you 3 like to bully behind faceless names as well, I think eagles added to the comp and were good for it.
I love how it's considered bullying to have an opinion that doesn't follow the eagles party line. But not bullying to turn up to a ground with the intent to disrupt games, intimidate players & officials, and resort to violence.
Bullying can be defined in many ways, as in taking away things that were there in place and all ok previous but for some reason changed to suit powers to be. We will let you have these rules for so long but we will pull them from you when it suits us :letmesee: Time to kiss and make up BW,CRL have directed that is to be the outcome :winner:

Would that include your rep player who was reported as insighting the eagles boys to become aggressive? The way it was explained to me was the Eagles boys were in a car leaving, when they gave a verbal spray to an ex team mate and this person then wanted them to "respond with more than words.

Is this the same person that told you Santa Clause and The Easter Bunny are real?
Ask the 50 witnesses there.
Not the pissed perpetrators.

Here we go again, The Assistant and Fairy Floss or should I say SH, you guys made SV take down his defamatory comments on your supporters page in a hurry, you, the players should stop blaming everyone else and look at the people who caused this, your Administration, if they weren't so high and mighty you guys wouldn't be in this situation. Good luck with the mediation, because your going to need it.

What they aren't real how devastating, there was one fight that afternoon involving 2 people are they both suspended and it couldn't be for long seeing the oakdale back rower is back playing again

Santa also told me the initial verbal confrontation was with yourself TC but that was settled peacefully. Is that also incorrect?

Eagles will be kissing arse as the clubs have drawn a line in the sand and won't move backwards to meet Eagles - Eagles need to come to the party and convince CRL, Gr 6 and ALL clubs that they will toe the line.

That might mean some people might need to step away from looking after Eagles as a sign of moving on, a new regime as such before clubs can be forgiving. Or is it a case that Eagles have to forgive Gr 6 and clubs????

PS Im up for beers tonight B&W to discuss a plan of action to keep Eagles out of the comp

Lol surly you can't be that basic...! the difference is the eagle boys that were involved went out there with the intent to course trouble, it was a planed attack!!
At the end of the day if eagles get reinstated there will only be moor trouble in games and off the feild with supporters trashing each other there is too much bad water now and I can only see moor conflict if eagles play in the group again!

1 fight with punches thrown by oakdale player first is what I heard and a lot of verbal sprays, have you ever been to our home ground or thirlmeres, they are verbal sprays, if that's all it is then mediate or meditate or whatever it is that they have to do but call an amnesty and start fresh, it gives everyone a chance to save face.

I'd just take a step back for a second.
If you guys really want to know what happened ill write a full report, and I promise you this, it will not look good for those involved.
Don't try and tell me what you heard. I was there, I seen heard and experienced it.
Drop the propaganda, because once again, you are showing no remorse and arrogance for your actions.

In non eagles related news, the Picton club is holding it's 'Centenary Round' this Sunday against Mittagong. Back in 1914 our very first game was against the lions, so we'll be commemorating that. We're expecting a great day of quality footy and even have clashes between the under 6's and 7's between main games.

In first grade I expect a good, close battle for 60 minutes with our guys to skip away in the final 20. Final score will be 176 - 4.

The 2mcr.com radio crew will be calling the action and we'd love to see any of you there if you can make it.

Go the 'pies!

I think the event has been blown out of proportion because of the issues at hand. Verbal sprays, 2 player have a stouch. How many times has this same scenario happened in years gone by and usually someone gets a week and that is that. Not condoning violence, but what is Eagles track history for violence before they were IMO thrown out for unjust reasons. How many Eagles players have faced the judiciary for on or off field violence since they entered the comp ?
I believe the CRL has asked that this be sorted "FOR THE GOOD OF THE GAME" yet so many people on this forum seem to have a one sided agenda, that in the end, is NOT for the good of the game.

Maybe I am misunderstanding the decision, but the way it reads to me is that the "Eagles are back" and it was proved to the CRL that they were dismissed without proper reason, and that they would like to input from both sides as to how the reinstatement process takes place and hopefully this situation never occurs again.

It takes a better person to get over their personal grievances and move on for the better of all.

One thing for sure, is the quality if football has gone up since the Eagles have entered the competition as everybody strives to defeat them. Is that not "GOOD FOR THE GAME"

Well said  CRL wants to see Eagles back in and the clubs are being involved in the mediation process along with Group management and the CRL will mediate how it will all work out for all involved in a fair and proper way.

Welcome back Eagles  Time for all to forgive and make mends and get on with the comp again with all 10 clubs involved, Both sides need agree to disagree and disagree to agree :cstars: :cstars: But move forward for as CRL stated the better of the game :correct: :correct:

No doubt if wrongs were done then punishment will follow, But i dont think its the view of the Eagles club that the whole club has done wrong in what happened at Claymore. The judicary should take care of this matter and this should in no way have relavance to the mediation process put in place by CRL.

Totally agree.
Poor judgement on behalf of the players.
The spin doctors have been hard at work spreading nonsense about this incident like wild fire.
Footy59 the initial incident was the captain coming down to the sheds and confronting Hazo. I had nothing to do with it until I told John to just leave it and go home, as he was too drunk and emotional, that's when he turned on me.
See how you keep getting told untruths. I think you really need to get new sources, or choose to get fact before spreading BS.
I could keep going about this, in particular the 2 that tried to 2 out our boy, but i'm sure everyone is just tired of the nonsense, and the continual spin that gets put on everything.
That's me done!

Mate it has taken a while for someone to put some truth to the story but it sounds like you only copped a spray, maybe you need to play a different sport seeing that most players will get that week in week out whether it be from fans or other players( not condoning any violence )
