Anyone interested in being a Referee??

As some of you may be aware the 2012 AGM was held tonight at Studley Park Golf Club and a new committee was elected to lead the Association into 2013. The committee is as follows;

President – Ray Dwyer
Secretary – Jake Tonitto
Senior Vice President – Peter Lynch
Junior Vice President – Tabitha Brown
Treasurer – Kim-Maree Teale
Director of Junior Referees – Mark Brown
Director of Senior Referees – Allen Foster

I look forward to working with you all in the near future.

Kind Regards,

Jake Tonitto

A few on here from clubs, so will any of your clubs be voting for Liverpool Titans if the show at your AGM next week.
Personally, no way. A snow flake's chance in an oven.

I did notice on the referees email that they have some sponsors

* Blue Tongue Pools
* Procorp
* Steggles
* Family Tax Practice
* Wests League Campbelltown
* Memory Makers Video
* Campbelltown Chiropratic Centre
* Modern Mortgages.

who ever is in charge of the Referee's marketing, is doing an awesome job.

There is no way Narellan would vote yes for letting the Titans come in, we wasn't happy about the other 2 Campbelltown clubs coming in.
Im not on any Committee but can see merit in having Titans join Group 6. Them joining extends the boundaries of Group 6 creating a competition that covers Southern Highlands, Macarthur and Liverpool. Effectively everything in between can be consumed into a First Grade or Second Division competition as Management sees fit. Poor old Wests will see over years that Group 6 is growing whilst they are shrinking leaving them no option but to relinguish control to Group 6. The only hurdle will be the new ARLC who may come in over the top and re-draw boundary lines, but if we get in first and run a successful competition it will be hard to undo.

Of course Titans will have to come up with the goods re financials but before long they will be the Liverpool stronghold, like Eagles are the Campbelltown are ATM, but opporunities for All Saints or another club to join Group 6 as well as they strenthen will become a possibility, as the population of Liverpool can easily sustain 2 mega teams.

That is what I (IMO) would say is smart call for the growth and future of the game, but doubt too many will see it the same way.

What is the go with this forum? My last post again deleted, what happened to free speech, is this a Russian Communist Forum? I only stated what I felt about the Campbelltown Clubs, being a Group 6 traditionalist that what I felt, Jetter had a different opinion and I respect his comments, but if you read my last posts before Jetter commented, it now says Guest, what is the use of a forum if it is continually going to monitored in a fascist way.

Get the referees Sponsors organizer to show the EO how it is done? Wasn't Group 6 looking for sponsors? Couldn't be too hard to find if Ref's are pulling sponsors, if you had a business would you sponsor Ref's?

I would pay my $15 to watch East Campbelltown play Titans, and give Titans 102 head start, any takers?

I'll double this msg up.

Oakdale are back apparently with all the punch from 2011. kyle weh signed and definitelty not at camden for the dribbling mouths, and nearly all missing forwards in 2012 are back.

not alot of brains and truth in this forum. Hazo, not much pull out there, couldn't wreck anything at that club. Benny Baker not wanted

Punch probably not the best word but they have a few of there forwards back such as B.Fryer, T.Moon and a few others have already put pen to paper.

No Benny Baker over Kyle Weh for Oakdale but I have to say that Benny maybe a better option for Oakdale. Don't get me wrong K.Weh is not out of place in group 6, would love to see him running lines for quality halves.

Looking forward to see how Oakdale go this year with the returning troops and a few new faces
