We are very upset only to be semi finalists in all 3 grades, only four years back in. Heads rolling everywhere, even Krusty, one of our top clubmen, will undergo a thorough kpi review. |

I'll be honest, I don't even know what the SCC is. Seriously. I'm not intending disrespect there, just being honest. There's a reason this is the only forum on this site I post in. It's because I just don't care about any other comp. Don't get me wrong, I hope your comp gets better every year, I really do, but having no personal stake in it whatsoever, I really have no wish to hear about it. Nothing personal, I don't follow the fortunes of group 7 or the Carlton league either. And let's be serious, if that team that Orana has named is anything like the actual group team next year (Chris Young's gotta start though) they'd be competitive with the Illawarra divisional team. Whatever squad you're proposing would not get within 80. Again, no disrespect, just honesty. Edited by foal, Sep 21 2013, 08:38 PM.

Highlander how many teams are in the comp? Once in a few years is pretty average mate. I'm talking about the SCC because it's come a long way since it's inception especially when clubs aren't funded by leagues clubs like in Group 7 it's growing in strength every year. It doesn't seem like people are happy Maverick the SCC's biggest promoter got banned for nothing and the moderators are one sided I'm fed up with it. Is it a coincidence you commented and are a moderator? You're treating us like scum saying it's overkill comparing Group 6 to the SCC it just sounds like you don't want us to have anything good. Have you even been to a SCC game this year? I'll pay for your petrol from the Highlands lol.

I have to echo foal and say I don't care about the SCC at all & have no interest in it. It seems to be a good comp and that's great for rugby league. So why aren't you trumpeting this on the wests thread? Maverick knows why he was banned for a short period of time and lost his moderator status - if he hasn't told you the real reason then that's up to him. There is nothing to stop him or anyone else posting on the JL thread and promoting the comp. It seems to me that YOU can't promote your comp without comparing it to Group 6, no one else is doing it. I don't know why you insist on posting here and whining like a spoilt child, "just sounds like you don't want us to have anything good". It sounds like something a little kid would say when their mum tells them they can't have a mars bar before tea. Here's an idea - if this is such a terrible place, exercise your democratic right and don't visit it. |

I don't hold secrets, and Moody "is" aware why I was banned, and if this comment is allowed to stay then everybody can know, and there can be no guessing. I was banned for deleting a whole heap of posts that I believed were making the West's thread go to "dodo" again. I thought by deleting these posts and getting rid of the comments things would settle and the storm that I believed was brewing would blow over. I was also told I was too proactive towards Eagles and Blue Devil and would not let it go. If any mod can tell me of any other reason that would be news to me, and I have the emails from Galahs to back my statements. |

How many clubs in group 6 or 7 are funded by leagues clubs??? Kiama leagues is the only one i can think of!!! most like any A grade club are supported by local buissness and PUBS!!! As i said im glad its growing i do keep an eye on it as i have mates that play at Titans and like to see how ESA are going being an ex jnr but apart from that i know very little and i could say the same about group 6!!! How am i treating you like scum?? considering im no longer involved in group 6 i stayed out the local politics that have been on here of late but because i make a comment im Biased?? The comp is over maybe you should put your feet up watch the Ashes and get ready for 2014 |

Longevity has always been a problem with clubs anywhere. That will be the big question that will remain over this comp for a couple more years. |

Let me refresh your statement made back in june 4th 2013. http://s9.zetaboards.com/Wests_Magpies_Forum/single/?p=8270663&t=7359416 You said the following " If you read what I pasted re forum rules, it states all of the forum is for the discussion for all football topics in all of the areas stated". also " I also agree there are always 2 sides to every story". Now that the rules of engagement have been put forward , lets remember you started with this post which is where all the fuss started, http://s9.zetaboards.com/Wests_Magpies_Forum/single/?p=8271831&t=7359416 So to present a version of events which was different to what was posted and those version of events getting deleted (18 odd posts by different people , ironically mainly mods) says that either the truth was too much to handle or the two sides to every story didn't apply in this instance, there was nothing offensive in the posts probably if anything things were sugarcoated and some preferred to be a little more raw on the facts. If this was about protecting a certain persons integrity let me say this , you throw enough mud around eventually some will stick. You were concerned about the wests thread going downhill ,how is a robust discussion about a certain issue going to do that , I just hope your actions was an error of judgement and nothing more. The g6 team will be very hard to beat next year, with the addition of a couple of players that were injured at the time and new signings being mentioned will be a very solid outfit! |

As I said I really hope Group 6 capitalises on the great end to the season and rolls that momentum into an even better season. The task is there for clubs and hopefully Orana and TC have aces up their sleeve to unveil because Camden are looking for a Top 5 spot and don't appear to be dying wondering. Already seems as if we're in for a long off season of Narellan recruitment rumours |

Maybe it was an error in judgement at the time, but my intensions were to fix not to damage. My thinking was to delete all relevant comments to the issue being debated (Including my own posts) where many of comments were coming from G6 mods. There had been no negative postings on the Wests thread this year until this came up and I just wanted it to get back to that. A lot of it was my own fault, by posting a written document about a CRL hearing of a certain person who has now been deleted, I left myself open to attack from persons who did not like the content of that and I now regret posting that document. |

Correct, Group 7 takes in Kiama - Albion Park - Nowra - Ulladulla area. Not Wollongong, which is the Illawarra Carlton league. |

It's a funny set-up. G7 goes right up to the Windang bridge (Warilla Gorillas), but Shellharbour opts to play in the Carlton League, whereas Port Kembla Blacks are in the Illawarra DRL, but due to financial constraints are not strong enough to play in the Carlton League, and play in G7. Batemans Bay furthest southern point of G7, so it's a fair trip. Port Macquarie was similar. The Sharks played in Group 2, whereas Port City played in Group 3. I think Sharks may have returned to G3, not sure. |

Yep there Carlton league teams totally different level of Rugby league there champ!! Group 7 extends from Warrilla to Batemans Bay. Shellharbour sharks moved to Carlton league when they alligned to the dragons and Port did move to Group 7 Shellharbour Stingrays though play in group 7 and have double the jnr numbers of the Sharks Orana Port Sharks were forced back to Group 3 by the CRL Massive boundary changes are occuring up north ATM there is talk of Grafton leaving the north league to join group 2. I have heard that the Southern region will also be assessed in a few years time as some areas (Group 16 ) are in massive decline! were as areas IE Northen ends of G6 and 7 have had massive growth!! |
