So to cap off the season...narellan bought a premiership and didn't win..Oakdale bought back old boys because they thought they were the best and got no where..picton bought players half way through...if eagles were still there no nrl players and local juniors pretty sure they would of still taken it out..and still to this day are the best country team in nsw.......who will be the next Clayton cup winners.. Fairy floss you really msde an impact at Camden lol your a passenger !!!! Talk eagles up as much as you like you did nothing this year!!!!

You're pretty close to the mark about Narellan and Oakdale. But never knock a champion, Picton don't deserve to have their win doubted. Was the 2012 Clayton Cup repealed along with the Group 6 premiership?

Just to state the facts TC, the Clayton's Cup has not been repealed and we have been assured by CRL that this would not be entertained at all.

Minor correction. Picton bought one player (a pretty special player to be sure) and it wasn't half way through, it was after round 4.

Thanks for clearing that up BD Hi TC, I'm pretty well known within the East Campbelltown Club, and I have never hidden who I am, I'm just on here to state the facts within our club and to keep people informed on what's new at the Eagles.
If you want to say I'm BD I'm happy to pass you my number so every time I do a post, you can verify it's me by a phone call, you should know who I am as I am always the table official at Waminda Oval,

Anyone willing to throw some line ups out there for the indigenous game? It's hard to know exactly who qualifies for the indigenous squad so I'm not going to try to guess. One thing I know is that Michael Lett is captain-coaching. With Benny Baker a certainty, you'd assume that Letty would put himself in the centres and baker at fullback, but who knows?
I think it's more interesting to try to pick the all-star team. I like the concept that their has to be at least one rep from each club. So, going with that principle, who's the first player you' pick from each club? Mine would be something like this: Picton - Chris Young Mittagong - Scott Borg Oakdale - Matt Macauley Narellan - Shannon Gallant City - their big prop (name escapes me sorry) Camden - Chris Corby Thirlmere - Michael Stolk Oaks - they had a 12 this year I thought was very impressive Moss Vale - Anahouro (big back rower spelling???, could easily play centre)

Peter jenson will be registering with a g6 club to be eligible for the game. along with McGrath and Merritt couldn't really see a forward pack? Michael lett will play fullback and baker probably will find himself at 5/8. the g6 Allstar side will be very atrong

If that's the case gives another selection from narrellan and oakdale had a pretty good forward pack half the g6 side surely u wouldn't waste a selection on an over the hill winger???

You have lost me Brutus as I don't know who is the overage winger you are talking about?
is this game going to be done right? are teams going to be kitted out in full gear? if your going to play the game you really need to make sure we have it done so it doesn't look like a trial game. And if yes who is going to pay for both teams club kits? playing gear alone will come to $2000 between both teams. and I would hate to see one team looked after and the other team get nothing and who is selecting the teams? and finally are these players going to be registered to the Group?

Re reading it , it does sound harsh but I think a game like this good chance to give some young blokes a shot and really the group doesn't have anyone you'd class as a specialist winger, and selecting a bloke in his 30s that has had plenty of rep experience just seems like a waste! Is it up to the clubs to put forward players? Have u received anything official Tc?

Manu Aso'ava & Ross Brown. Manu will be the forward that dominates G6 in 2014.

Selection process etc Not interested in it, poorly thought out idea, logistics of it are all wrong, as u said uniforms etc need to be sorted. It will be a rush job that flops. You want to stir debate and generate interest, Group 6 premiers v Group 7 premiers, or make a day of it, throw the SCC premiers an invite. Of if you want go down a path that will open up a can of worms, G6 premiers v Eagles! Lol Cash in on the controversy
