lets hope moss vale will give the others teams a heads up that hindy is playing. it would be a great chance for all teams to promote the hell out of the games and get a huge crowd at all group 6 grounds not just a community oval.
Hindmarsh will play only a handful of games in the season so Mossy aren't going to let other clubs benefit from their big drawcard. He will play at Community Oval so that Mossy get the gate. And I predict he won't play against Eagles or Thirlmere either. Heres hoping he does get out and about to other grounds though.
Mossy will be hoping Hindy will be playing as many games as possible regardless of who and where. So I dont why you are spinning that tripe. He has already asked for the draw so he can liaise with his employers to organise his schedule. So he is obviously keen to maximise his committment to the Dragons and good on him. As Mr T6 says games against Mitta will be huge as it will against any club this year with the Dragons re-entering 1st grade after a year out No offence Rusty but if Hindy can't commit to every game you would want him to play the majority of games at home rather than away, just commercial commonsense eh?

Narellan Jets resume training on Tuesday 15th January at Oran Park kicking off at 6.30pm. All welcome.
Shannan Gallant, Rocky Trimarchi, Ben Baker, Wilson and Crocker all confirmed for 2013. Missing are the Graham brothers who have moved onto Kingsgrove and earlier reports about Kevin McGuinness playing have not come to fruition. Some other forwards have been signed but their names elude me.
Missed out on Dennis Gordon who has decided to play at City. Adam Doyle coached him at Quenbeyan so obvious connection there. Great backline Jetter. Who will play 7 and feed them the ball? Doyle is playing 6 in our reggies team in 2013, moving back up this way.

Of course from a clubs "commercial" perspective I agree. But as all clubs are, we want to give the comp a good crack and we will need him available for majority of games for the Dragons to have a realistic chance of making a big impact on the comp. Not only that the club is looking long term in developing alot of the good juniors we have so that we are competitive for years to come. So for them to learn we need players like Hindy and Geddes around more often than not to teach them

Hindy is loved by the Group 6 kids, I've met him a few times at Women in League Events and he seems to be a big kid himself.
Giving back to where he came from, is going to be a huge benefit to Rugby League in the Southern Highlands, which has to contend with a limited population, lots of different sports and schools like Chev pushing the RU bandwagon.
Can't wait to go watch him play at Mossy!

He and Hindy are old friends, being teammates from their early days at Parra. Crouchy gets quite a few mentions in his autobiography. Would be great to see them packing down against each other.

So if Shannon Gallant is playing, he would have to be fullback, where does this put Crock, Gav and Benny Baker? If i was Fatty, i would play Crock at Hooker. I think he would play that position so well. That's if Milat, Sparra or Nugget aint got the 9 jeresy. Has Narellan seriously signed Gallant as their fullback??? Ben Baker now plays where????

I think when you have a talent like Baker in your club you keep him where he is, and if you buy players to come in, buy players that you need for positions to be filled, it would be like us having Sam Hoare and then buying Stuart Flanagan, wouldn't make sence!

Wasn't baker at easts for a season? He played a few games for us in the Bundy Cup in 2009, on debut he scored 18 points against Windsor which should of cemented him a position in the team, he then went back to Narellan when he wasn't picked in the Bundy team.

Can't argue there. Baker is the best individual attacking player I've seen in the group in the last 3 or 4 years. Fullback is easily his best position. Regardless of how good Gallant goes, Baker is shackled down playing anywhere else. It would be like the Doggies buying Billy Slater and moving Ben Barba to the centres.

I've got to agree footygirl, don't get me wrong, Shannon Gallant is brilliant but so has Ben Baker been for Narellan, and when he was put in the centers last year for Narellan he was wasted big time. I think when you have a talent like Baker in your club you keep him where he is, and if you buy players to come in, buy players that you need for positions to be filled, it would be like us having Sam Hoare and then buying Stuart Flanagan, wouldn't make sence! If a player comes along with NRL experience you grab him. Gallant will bring a wealth of ideas and experience to the Jets and Im sure all other clubs would have him too! If Gallant was signed by Eagles would you play Dreves in Reserves or find a different position for him, or say to him he is welcome to sign with another club?
No one has said where Baker will play and word is he has jumped ship and agreed to play over at Eagles anyway!!!! Care to comment on that BD?

lets hope moss vale will give the others teams a heads up that hindy is playing. it would be a great chance for all teams to promote the hell out of the games and get a huge crowd at all group 6 grounds not just a community oval.
As Mr T6 says games against Mitta will be huge as it will against any club this year with the Dragons re-entering 1st grade after a year out
No offence Rusty but if Hindy can't commit to every game you would want him to play the majority of games at home rather than away, just commercial commonsense eh?
Of course from a clubs "commercial" perspective I agree. But as all clubs are, we want to give the comp a good crack and we will need him available for majority of games for the Dragons to have a realistic chance of making a big impact on the comp. Not only that the club is looking long term in developing alot of the good juniors we have so that we are competitive for years to come. So for them to learn we need players like Hindy and Geddes around more often than not to teach them
Rusty i heard big Esky is back training with the Dragons looks pretty fit too. Yep Esky has been training with the Dragons. Dont think the travel to Jamberoo agreed with him. With a bit of luck the Dragons will have Mark Delamont back with possibly another Front rower to add to the signings in the next week or so, plus Shane Martin if things work wise fall into place for Marto. Add to that two Junior Dragons that are with West Tigers, Rhys McLaren and Brad Larter and things are building nicely down Vegas way. We would love to get one of our other juniors back to Mossy, being Matty Thorpe. Mossys coach is pretty keen to get hold of him and he would be a massive boost to the Dragons where he played all his junior footy until 18's when he went over the hill to Mitta. Also spotted at training was Chicka, Robert Wiya. After suffering a terrible shoulder injury in 2010 the Group 6 rep centre is a welcome addition back to the Dragons as well.
