Anyone willing to put there line-ups up? Or are all clubs keeping their cards close to their chest? Good luck to the mighty Roos on Saturday night. A club quietly building a culture. Roos top 5 finish this season!
Cheers Normy- since startup in 2009/10, it's been a slow process to build our own club, but we feel that we'll start to make some inroads this season.
Narellan came into Grade in 1983 and didn't make the semis until 1993.
Thirlmere came into Grade in 1984 and didn't make the semis until 1996, when they met Narellan in the GF.
We are working hard to make it in a little quicker than that!
After Last weeks performance against the Workers the only thing they are working on is a Pot for the wooden spoon.Eagles wil beat them by 30+ Drew to old let go its over..

Great story in the telegraph about Hindmarsh and Geddes.
Looks like there could be a bumper crowd down there this weekend.
Hope he makes an appearance at Oakdale in round 4

Team lists for mossy v mittagong? Or easts and Thirlmeres teams for tonight's games?

NRL retirees Nathan Hindmarsh and Scott Geddes to play for Moss Vale Dragons

CAN someone please call the makers of those novelty plastic backsides - we need another batch.

Only six months after an emotional ANZ Stadium farewell - all chopper arrivals, sideline conversions and plastic posteriors selling for five bucks a buttock - Nathan Hindmarsh is announcing a return to rugby league.

Not content with 15 years and 330 games with the Parramatta Eels, Hindmarsh has signed on for a season of bush footy with his old club, the Moss Vale Dragons.

The return, which will be made alongside brother Ian and Rabbitohs retiree Scott Geddes, starts tomorrow afternoon when the Dragons play Mittagong at home.

"I guess you could say there's still some fire in the belly," Hindmarsh told The Daily Telegraph yesterday when quizzed on how the bloody hell he could roll the sleeves up and sling his shorts low through another winter.

"Plus the coach, Andrew Bowie, he's a good mate of mine. A while back he asked if I knew anyone who the club could sign. I sort've paused, then said 'ahhh ... I might'."

So what chance 23 Tests and 17 Origin appearances buys you a start in the No.6 jersey?

"Oh, I've already asked Bowie," Hindmarsh grins. "He said 'no'. So I'm thinking maybe something on the left edge, a wide-running back-rower like Ryan Hoffman. But I'll definitely still defend in the middle ... I'm too worried about blokes running rings around me".

With Hindmarsh already working for the NRL, Pirtek and a host of charities, we also had to ask what wife Bonnie, mother to his three boys, said when told Sunday arvos were now off limits too? "Ah, no comment," he says. "I could say but ... no, no comment."

Geddes, himself a Moss Vale junior, has been close friends with Hindy since they would watch Arnold Schwarzenegger's Pumping Iron documentary as teens ... then head into the backyard to do push-ups wearing a backpack loaded with house bricks.

"So we might have to get the backpack out again and have another crack," the former South Sydney prop laughs. "I only heard yesterday that Ian has sent his rego papers through too ... it's gonna be great for the three of us to be back together again."

Not that Hindmarsh is quite as keen.

"Have a look at him," he laughs, pointing to Geddes, who now owns and operates the First Grade Fitness gym in Maroubra. "He's coming back all ripped up while me ... mate, my tits are sagging."

He's fitter than when he was in the centres back in our 2008 grand final side. Don't expect to see him in reggies too long

Sitting on the hill at mossy about to watch the big game. Biggest crowd and best weather I've seen here in my time. Looking forward to seeing the greatest bum crack of all time go up against a quality lions team.
