I hear the eagle boys are back on the field this weekend and are not holding back..
Please, your obviously one of the eagles men soaring on the forum to try and backup your team since the scandalous points saga hit. Eagles won't be doing any damage to the 2 big teams of 2013, Oakdale and Narellan. Don't recall eagles being beat yet this year, and when they get their wins back will be back up the top of the ladder. Don't write them off yet champion

We all know why Eagles lost their points, but what was the basis for being stood down?
Has the fine been paid?
Juz asking cause I dont know

The email last Monday said they had to pay the fine by today? What's the story? Eagles claiming their points are correct, have evidence and Group are wrong, so did they appeal? And why were they stood down? Thats 3 penalties (comp pts, fine, stood down) for one offence? Did they refuse to co-operate or pay??

The whole thing is a mess, will group 6 ever get this right? we will be next in the firing line, i'm hearing it at games already, and TC your club is started to get questioned
The Oaks will struggle and I cant see them lasting the season, they are having a go, but getting smashed in all grades, what's happening in the under 18's? they suffered a few big injuries yesterday. I do wish them well and hope they can hang in there, but you can't expect the guys to turn up every week and get belted.

We have a core of players that have been here for years. No scrutiny on us, none of our players come under question. The Oaks are trying to rally, they'll stick it out, they are a proud club, but the jerseys they've got this year??????

The only reason for the fines were given was for being over points, with all the evidence given the eagles won't need to pay a fine..should be sorted early this week and boys can play again..

Don't write them off yet champion If Eagles players are proven to be juniors I suspect the competition points won't be re-instated as Eagles, at the time, still played players deemed to be excessive of the 320 points.

So where is the fairness in that Jetter? Given the points list was sent out to clubs the Friday @ 3.30pm some games being played the next day gives 1.5 hours before COB to retrieve junior records and contest before the comp commenced. Your saying clubs just get punished for a management over sight?? I don't see how a club should be punished knowing they were correct. The Group could of basically appointed any points to any player and left minimal time for a club to dispute. Hardly fair or good practice. The points system is a shambles.

Well common sense should have prevailed here also, forget about the timelines here ,every other club managed to comply, if a players worth is under question don't play them until it gets sorted..... simple.

As a judge in court will say he isn't there to say whether a law is just or not, he is there to decide if that law has been broken or not. Bottom line the law was broken
In past the points were based on population, so imagine both Campbelltown teams having less comparative points now, and other clubs such as Thirlmere and Mittaging having more!

I think the majority of our squad have more fun after the games than they do for the 70 minutes on the paddock!

No Bowral in 2nd Division this season You guys go close to getting an U-18s, potato? No 18s out here, been a few years now which is disappointing for us but as far as I know our junior numbers have been slowly declining for a while. I'm pretty sure I heard this season we only have u7s and u9s as genuine junior spuddies teams, our mod league teams have had to join up with moss vale as we only had 5 or 6 register in a couple of age groups, and a sprinkling of the older age players u13s - u16s have either gone to mossy or mittagong which is generally what happens. Unfortunately we just don't have the numbers to keep teams going once the kids get older!
