Mitta are the ones to watch - they've been quietly going about their business over the last couple of years, getting a couple of marquee players but really concentrating on their juniors coming thru. It'll be interesting to see how this long term planning pans out over the next few years. |

No tycoons bankrolling us TC, just a great number of corporate partners who love the Jets. RTC are one of many sponsors but aren't the Nathan Tinkler you believe he is Great numbers of supporters through the gate and innovative fundraising help pay the bills. Thirlmere will be smarting they lost to City and will bounce back, and seeing the Roosters have a few ex-Jetters in their midst there is that element of grudge still Make sure you all get out to watch it

Good to see Narellan so strong - good for the game in this area. You've also got some good juniors that have come thru over the last few years. |

I think the club to watch in the future is Camden. They've dominated the international grades in the juniors for the last few years and those boys - bar the Britt's etc; who have moved on to much greener pastures - are very loyal to Doons. There are some real quality players coming through the ranks - a couple of years ago their U/15's team (who had been bumped up an age group) won the U/16's grand final. These guys will be the future of that club. |

The new lights on the hill side have just been completed, options of night games at moss vale are now a real possibility. |

This is a dark day for Rugby League ! I hope the Eagles boys can stay together. An Earlier post suggested Sydney Shield for 1st Grade and ICC for reggies and 3rd grade. Maybe the best option if you want to stay together. I cant see any reason why this would not be accepted. I feel so sorry for all the players and staff of EC that have worked so hard for so long. |

Rereading my post I realised that it sounded like I was criticising Dean Britt - definitely not the case, he's a great kid (young man) and a real credit to his family, club and the Group 6. What I was trying to say - oh so clumsily - was that quite a few of the boys, like Dean, have moved upwards and onwards to bigger & better things. But there is still a great deal of depth coming into Camden seniors that has been developed in their juniors over the last few years. |

I heard it was a low grading and that he took early plea, with his clean record he will be right to play this weekend. The Narellan player got the same, except he has a record, so he will do 1 week |

T.C is it true that easts and city are not eligible to have the 3 year rule apply to them as they have only been in the group 6 comp for 2 years and the the combined comp doesn't count, and if so will city points be look at seeing they are fielding a few players that have played at higher levels such as bundy cup |

2GB have been gathering info on events and will be contacting management of g6 for a explaination on how a club gets kicked out without doing anything criminal or bringing the game into bad light. From what I hear management have declined to field calls all day |

Fair to say the story of the Eagles has gone viral and will be played out on social media and the media in general over the next few days. Its generating a fair bit of interest form high sections of the rugby league media and community in general. Personally i feel the players have been punished over a headlogger with Group 6 board and the clubs own board, I very sour outcome for the players involved who just want to play the game with the mates they have developed over the years. Very, very sad day for the players and game in general. |

I have heard some of the same it will be interesting how the commitie will explain how a player who has played over 300 nrl games city/country, origin and Australia and has come out publicly saying that Robertson is his junior club be graded as a 2 point player at moss vale and a young kid who has been at the same local club for over 20 years is graded as 40 then dropped to 25 it's just unbelievable!!! |
