I was trying to stick up for you guys but you haven't the intelligence to see that, you just automatically took it as an insult.
Look at it this way: if CRL had no idea of what was happening then I think CRL would not like to have a club sitting it out. If CRL did know then they would have advised Gr 6 on how to handle the matter. You might need to read constitutions to see if you guys have a case or not. The pen might be mightier than the sword but I do not have the power or influence anywhere to get clubs to get you guys kicked out !!
I havent taken anything that you said as an insult nor do i believe you are trying to "stick up" for the eagles. I am not associated with the eagles so please do not jump to that conclusion, i am merely voicing my opinion! You seem to have alot to say on this forum about everything. Maybe you should take a step back instead of getting involved if you have nothing to do with it!! I'd safely say that whilst you are on here making false accusation that is the reason you are being questioned about your involvement. The politics of this whole situation is pathetic & disgraceful. A committee should not "kick out" a club nor change the rules to attempt to do so. Wouldnt the other teams in the competition prefer the eagles to be in the comp as they are such a strong side going to entire season undefeated- Wouldnt that be an accomplishment for other clubs to beat them? There are too many personal vendettas, maybe Group 6 should just take a step back & let these young boys play football. Isn't that why they come back every year?
I think people are not realising that Group 6 wouldn't just kick a team out of the competition without sitting back, researching, talking, colluding and seeking advice on what they should/shouldn't do in this situation.... They wouldn't leave themselves open like that.... Also, once they had advised the clubs of the decision they would've had to advise the CRL as to what had transpired and then the CRL would've asked them 21 questions relating to this.... and if the CRL had a problem with it they would've advised G6 accordingly.... The personal attacks, disrespectful comments etc that players and officials from the Eagles are throwing out there is terrible! One minute they are saying that all of us in Group 6 have six fingers and that we are rubbish and that the comp is too easy.... next minute they are crying tears of joy at the rumors going around that they will be rejoining our competition!!!! Make up your mind guys, i understand your frustration and i feel sorry for players and the club itself.... but personal attacks etc won't help....
If the crl knew why would they be telling the eagles they still have a game this weekend and they were never kicked out of the comp in the first place..obviously wasn't any documents or facts given to the head of crl..seems it's just all talk like most of the stuff on here.. Well personally I can't wait, without dunners or Sam Hoare or baker, they'll have no chance against the jetters, we will be first to knock em off their perch

"IF" Eagles are re-instated by the CRL, wouldn't that be the same as an admission that somebody got it all wrong. If that is the case then all players should then be reinstated into their "contracted" Team before this all came about? All points put back on the ladder and missed games replayed.
Just food for thought!

Hollow though. Eagles trained solid tonight all players there bar Baker even Dunley who is listed at Camden???? Hoare and all big guns ready to go once the mess is sorted. As for they're just training with what's left couldn't be more of the mark as I says ALL bar Baker at training, very rock solid team and club.

Just food for thought! Only 1 player left Baker the rest trained tonight as normal so won't be an issue.

Everyone thought players would leave in droves but underestimate the bond these boys have and they'll stay till the death to play together. Great mate ship and team spirit shown by the players who are the ones that have suffered the most through this BS saga. Well done to them all I hope that get to play together very soon.

Until a definitive statement comes from group 6 or crl the mods have agreed that posts regarding the eagles situation & status will be deleted. Wether the agenda bring pushed is deliberate or not is debatable but all it is doing is creating confusion, paranoia, & uncertainty. So at the moment the status quo remains.

Oakdale get up - and stay up
http://www.wollondillyadvertiser.com.au/story/1484188/oakdale-get-up-and-stay-up/?cs=1678 By Sean Cunningham
OAKDALE'S Group 6 first grade team held off a tough Campbelltown City Kangaroos team to secure a 34-8 victory at Fullwood Reserve, Claymore on Sunday.
It took only four minutes for Oakdale to get on the scoreboard when Ben Fryer flicked a pass to Graeme Martin, who crossed for the first try.
A few minutes later Oakdale doubled their lead to 12-0 when Nick Crouch crossed for a try which was also converted.
Fullback Kyle Weh added another try in the 25th minute before Kangaroos reduced the deficit to 16-4 through a Nick Sbezzi try in the corner.
The Kangaroos started well after the restart with a try to Josh Hickey in the 53rd minute to take the score to 16-8, but Oakdale regained their ascendancy when Bart Masters kicked across the field for Matt McCauley to catch and cross for a try.
Cameron Breust was next over the line for Oakdale and Glyn Bester scored in the last few minutes.
Oakdale coach Brendon Reeves knew it would be a tough game.
"The score doesn't really reflect the effort they put in and how hard it was for us," Reeves said.
"They are definitely a hard team to beat and were really tough in the middle."
Reeves said Glyn Bester, Graeme Martin and Sam Conlon deserved special mention for their efforts throughout the game
The Oaks won in all three grades on Sunday in the Group 6 rugby league competition.
The under-18s defeated Mittagong 28-20; reserves beat Moss Vale 28-22; and first grade defeated Moss Vale 38-32.
In the first grade game a try to each side in the first 10 minutes calmed the nerves for both teams, but Moss Vale went on a scoring spree and went into the break leading 22-6.
The second half saw a change in attitude from The Oaks and they fought their way back into the game, crossing the line twice in the final five minutes.
The Oaks will play on Saturday night at Dudley Chesham Sportsground.
Under-18s kick off at 4.30pm against Appin, followed by reserve grade, and first grade, playing Mittagong.
