If there is any body out there that has not commented for a while, due to fear of being ridiculed? Please try to come back again soon. Maybe people will now think twice before writing rubbish in return, knowing that sooner or later they will make a mistake, and they will reveal their identity by their IP address matching to another name.

Sure gone quiet since Mav exposed life member. Were he and his other alias's the only ones on here? I don't post much due to what Mav said about people having a go at you. it might be better now if there is anyone left to post? 😄

What a joke maverick expose life member as being a troll having the sam ip address as another user and it gets deleted by another moderator be fair didnt delete all the comments and slander he piled on me for the last how ever long just shows the do-do you let people write and delete whatever you fell like writtern about me and the titans deadset joke.
What was Life Memeber's other alias's???? I must of missed it, I would like to know as there was a lot of mud slinging.

Still think, and only MY opinion as an ex RSL player (to many years ago), that they should still be the Burners! What other RLFC has the Burners as a name???? No one, it's a classic :correct:

Liverpool Titans' Darcy Brown nominated for Liverpool Leader's service to sport award

Liverpool Titans' Darcy Brown nominated for the Liverpool Leader's service to sport award. Picture: MELVYN KNIPE.

AS far as service to sport goes there could not be a more appropriate nominee for our award than Darcy Brown.

Brown has dedicated his life to rugby league, first as a player, then as a coach and administrator.

Since 2009 he has also been the driving force and inspiration behind the formation of the Liverpool Titans rugby league club.

"I saw a need in the Casula and Liverpool area for a rugby league team where you would only leave because you made the NRL,'' Brown said.

He has been nominated for the Liverpool Leader's Junior Sports Star's service to sport category.

The awards are sponsored by Rebel Sport.

He attributes his passion for the game to the people he loves most in life.

"I get the love for the game from my father (Darcy Brown Sr) who was a country rugby league champion for the Mudgee Dragons.

"But without the support of my late mum Nell and my wife Sonya I wouldn't be where I am today,'' Brown said.

This year alone Brown has battled personal hardship to ensure the club and the players were always the priority.

He endured the death of his mum, Nell, as well as a hip injury that has required seven operations and has eventually forced him to stand down as president of the Liverpool Titans.

Rugby league has a long history of celebrating the aboriginal and indigenous communities, of which Brown is very proud.

"I'm a proud Aboriginal man and I get a lot of satisfaction from the continued relevance and importance of indigenous players in rugby league,'' Brown said.
