I know that but it would be good if more details emerged about this year, teams, pre season comp etc. As for Minto that's the last thing on my mind.

How many teams will compete in the ICCC A grade comp this season? And i'm not just asking about wests teams, I'm asking about all clubs.

Sorry MrT6 but that really is a silly question to ask on the Wests forum, unlike the Group 6 competition who know almost everything for this years competition Julie Luke is probably still on holidays sipping her champagne on a beach somewhere. Maybe you should give the NSWRL a call mate?

Hahaha is that stupid woman still running wests? No wonder why the comp has gone down do-do creek. cause she comes first and the clubs come last. Pathetic excuse of a human.

I have created a poll mate and am considering running a petition against her, I'd love it if you could take a look.

I would love to have a look at it Mate. I'd be one of the first to sign, she screwed me over so much, and i think with her gone, we would see the Wests Seniors comp, come back to glory.

No doubt their needs to be a complete revamp of the administration, if you have any ideas as to how to improve the competition don't hold back. Do make sure you throw up your suggestions so that we may improve the league.

I really think that the Clubs need to hold a meeting and discuss all matters, from the admin right down to the players. The wests comp has become known as the pub comp. I think it was once a great comp, and could go back to becoming a great comp. but all clubs need to help one another out, and get rid of the admin and start fresh.

Fair comment, just curious as to your thoughts on the introduction of the Liverpool Titans a few weeks back. I really believe them entering harmed surrounding teams in the area I have nothing against them but just stating the facts.

I think the introduction of the Titans really harmed clubs like Ashcroft, Valley and Hinchinbrook. I don't think Liverpool nor Campbelltown needed anymore teams. Even though the comp had lost Eagles and City, the comp had enough clubs to field a seniors comp. so why bring in the Titans? I think it was because they wanted a Liverpool team which could try and harm All Saints, but I don't think it had worked.

I think the titans are a good club, but the west comp didn't need them.

It is not about the teams that are in the competition, there are only enough when you have a competitive competition, which what wests have lacked for a long time. I don't think the titans have hurt anyone, in fact makes for a more aggressive approach haven to be taken from clubs to recruit etc etc.
The only problem has been the administration of the competition, even when they were given opportunities the admin of J.Luke and her followers have stuffed it up every time.
New administrators with some knowledge of running a competition properly and looking after the product and its people which are the clubs, players, volunteers etc who should be looked after.
So in summing up, adding clubs is not the problem it is trying to add clubs to a poorly administrated Wests competition.

The last good A grade stand alone Wests comp I have seen was 1995. Even then it was starting to become a pub comp.

Yes I remember that year very well, I was playing A Grade for East Campbelltown, and it was a decent comp back then, shortly after this a ridiculous rule of no charging at the gate, a donation only! And then they wonder why by 1997 they had less then half the teams in Seniors, every club couldn't afford to run seniors! and the rule about no Alcohol at senior matches didn't help at the time neither!

And the competition has struggled ever since!

So many factors has contributed to the decline of Rugby League out West, I share the passion you guys have towards the game and wanting to see it grow once again

I remember playing before & watching a Claymore Panthers vs Minto in '95, as we were coming in and both teams about to run out the good old call "Big hits Minno" was being screamed at Claymore by Minto. What an atmosphere, bloody tough game for the 50 mins I watched, it was brilliant!!!

The Campbelltown / Liverpool area needs a strong comp so some of the old rivalries can come back.
