What do other people think about Titans and what grade they should be in? Also what happened to LCC? Minto had 40 players at training a player told me. Surely that means two teams.
If u have 2 or more sides 1must be in agrade

Bad day for All Saints with all grade's playing short of a team due to rego's not being finalised and losing all games.

Lets see what happens next week, all should be registered.

A few silly people today cost Ingleburn RSL a bit of money at Wood Park for drinking alcohol at the game. The league official had no choice but to fine the club and it's a shame because a licensed venue is right next door. Apart from that two good games were played.

ESA beat Ingleburn Bulldogs 26-12 in A grade division 1, Warriors beat RSL in A grade division 2 but I am unsure of the score.

They have been playing in group 6, the lower ranked teams have been getting excess players

We find out this Sunday if All Saints have truly stepped up, when the local derby with Titans is played. 3pm at Hillier for 1st grade with all 3 grades playing at home.

Reserve 1s play St Christophers who look like a slick outfit. Mostly young guns who won their 19s comp the last 2 years in a row .

Reserve 2s play Titans in the other local derby.

Maverick I remember watching a All Saints U/18s team 2-3 years back, really impressive team, they were blasting teams all season(although I think they lost the GF)..any of those boys in your squads?

I will ask, If its the side I think you are talking about, it was coached by John Sione 2009 (I think) which was a year I wasn't at All Saints. And in 2010 when I came back they were dispersed to many different clubs as they had so many rep players that some body didn't want them playing in the local comp. If All Saints or Big Show are reading they would be better to answer your question. :dunno:

Unfortunately a lot of those boys left in 2010. John wanted the 1st grade coaching job but the seniors committee decided on Alan Fry. John withdrew his application as he was going to coach for the macksville cougars I think and he took four boys with him up there. A handful like Warwick wood, woody Kawana, Matt Hannah and Jason Supple stayed but the rest moved on. Some played Bundy, some turned up at Narellan I heard and quite a few went to Titans when they joined the comp.

Disappointing but that's football. On a side note, we have since had a few of them come back but I think of the squad, I heard only around 10 are still playing.

I ventured down to Bill Delaney last week to watch Five Dock play St Christopher's in A Reserrve Div 1 and All saints vs St Christopher's in A Grade.

In the first Game, I was super impressed with St Christopher's. They are a very fit young side that are very well structured. A couple of strong props pinning the side together which muscle up and then they go wide to the centre who I think scored two tries and kicked 5 or 6 goals. If they don't get too knocked around by the likes of eaglevale and Minto, they should go very well in the comp.

Just on Minto, a bit of mail that Bussell is back there and he has pulled a lot of the boys together that won the wests comp in 2011 back to Minto. I'm hearing they are big and strong and probably the team to beat. If the mail is true, I would think them, eaglevale and penshurst will be getting regraded up into a grade after round 5. Watch this space.

I'm heading down to Hillier tomorrow to watch some big games.

4 games on tomorrow with the first kicking off at 1045am I think which is a 19s game between st Christies and titans.

AD2 sees all saints play titans at 12pm.
AD1 all saints play st Christopher's at 130pm
And in a grade, all saints play the local derby against titans.

Should be a cracker of a day.

When I played 18s there in 2005 we had fairly good side we were a bit unlucky in the semis but a few of the boys are still there at the club playing and and a few others scattered around at other clubs ...

Yeah, I know the feeling, 2005 our a grade was a awesome side but we got stage fright in the gf and got done by 30. The boys from your side still there would be tubby, Alvaro and carl partridge although even though he is a all saints Jnr, I think he was at eaglevale that year.

Geez,Yeah that's a shame mate, I can only recall Lance and Ronny off the top of my head because they featured in a few Rep teams and schoolboy comps I refereed (touchy).
Not familiar with John, But Is that the same Alan Fry, former lower grade Canterbury coach ?
Mate I can remember 10+ years back when allsaints were based at Durrant Oval and were primarily a 3rds club,to see the improvement and talent come through over the years, its a great achievement by the club.
