A few silly people today cost Ingleburn RSL a bit of money at Wood Park for drinking alcohol at the game. The league official had no choice but to fine the club and it's a shame because a licensed venue is right next door. Apart from that two good games were played.
not worth playing at home when that happens...where you playing Moody..

Unfortunately a lot of those boys left in 2010. John wanted the 1st grade coaching job but the seniors committee decided on Alan Fry. John withdrew his application as he was going to coach for the macksville cougars I think and he took four boys with him up there. A handful like Warwick wood, woody Kawana, Matt Hannah and Jason Supple stayed but the rest moved on. Some played Bundy, some turned up at Narellan I heard and quite a few went to Titans when they joined the comp.

Disappointing but that's football. On a side note, we have since had a few of them come back but I think of the squad, I heard only around 10 are still playing.

Geez,Yeah that's a shame mate, I can only recall Lance and Ronny off the top of my head because they featured in a few Rep teams and schoolboy comps I refereed (touchy).
Not familiar with John, But Is that the same Alan Fry, former lower grade Canterbury coach ?
Mate I can remember 10+ years back when allsaints were based at Durrant Oval and were primarily a 3rds club,to see the improvement and talent come through over the years, its a great achievement by the club.
Alan Fry was All Saints Coach from "about" 1999, he then went to Moorebank in 2003 then yes Canterbury Harold Matts and SG Ball Coach. I can take some credit as I talked him into coming back to All Saints when that was over. Firstly in an advisory role for our 2008 U/18s side and then he took over the A-Grade the following year. He always said he had a 5 year plan and this is his fifth year

Well it's worked so far. I 2008, the a grade side didn't finish the season.
This year to have 3 grades is a achievement in itself.

Great day at hillier today. All saints 3rd grade played with the bare 13 today with around 7 clearances still waiting to come through. Reggies played well but had a couple of injuries and also missing a couple of their front rowers but played well losing 16-6. A couple of more weeks together and I think they will be much better.

1st grade beat the titans I think 40 to 12. Lots of errors from both sides but some good signs from All Saints.

Any other results from the weekend?

We lost 32~16
Things started well scoring early but after that lost 2 players to injury early on n valley hit back scoring around 20 mins in ththen we lost another to injury just before ht n tiredness started to hit in valley scored just before ht 10~4 to valley ht
2nd half started bad with another injury n then valley taking advantage of it n.scoring a few tries to go to 22~4
The next kick off went dead but we didn't capitalise on the oppurtunity
some poor handling by us n silly 1st tackle plays but all in all i think the boys played well n showed heart playing the hole 2nd half with no bench and a few injured players. staying on because
there was no one to replace us but we can take a lot out the first 3 games we are a strong side n will be hard to stop oncre firing amd all players avaliable
