I have also been "told" the ICCC rain rule has been "addressed" but yet to hear any "official" ruling for 2013. would be good news. The comp needs as many games as possible to allow it to keep growing.

Havent commented on here 4 a long time but ill put a few rumours to bed!! ESA will have 3 senior sides in 2013 19's A reserve and A grade.. With Myself (dennis) mark beard and Con all there!!
Good on you Dennis Good to see you back and Great news for ESA Have you decided who will coach which grade yet? I am also told Titans will have 3 sides next year with the same coaching staff.
Mav ATM not sure if im goin round again or not as u no father time is catching up on me Con Mark and myself R very good mates and no matter wat we wil b all in it together
Is it true Mr Parra that Appin declined you for a reserve grade captain/coach role? Many of your 2012 squad are heading to Appin with Glen Whiteman as he has told it, that will make it hard to get 3 sides up given you only had two in 2012. Mark would be the man to take the A grade gig and no offense Mr Eel but reports are your better off sitting in the bleachers rather then strapping up and giving a younger player a go is the mail I've heard. Good luck either way Mark Beard breeds success ESA is in good hands with Mark at the helm.
No offense taken Kahoona I have never stated im a good footy player so your right im better off not strapping up abd letting a young bloke dig in but that all depends on numbers And no Appin did not decline me as a cap/coach a player or a coach talks were never had Mark does breed success Great bloke good coach . And as 4 all the boys heading to Apppin smoke and mirrors
Might want to tell Mr Whiteman his saying his got a few ESA signed and sealed, and that you possible reserve grade aligned. Any big signings from any Wests clubs? Are Wests clubs paying in 2013? Just a bit of topic let's say a combined comp got back on and just saying relax B&W haha would any would Wests clubs field 1st and reserves same as the ICCC. Floors open, I'd say possibly only All Saints have heard the same thing here.. apparently whiteman is on the move to try and nab as many ESA players as he can, even some of the younger blokes... will be interesting to see how that works.

I have heard all the rumours that you have all quoted. I have heard that a person from Esa did talk on the phone with someone from Appin about footy next year, but no comment or direction to say they are going to Appin club, just what I heard, so you know who you are. A lot of speculation guys, about Appin and other clubs but maybe doggiesgirl can answer your questions. Maybe you should ask her for clarification, as she is the one in the know at that club. From what i was told there is nothing concrete and no signings have been made out that way as yet. Appin are definitely trying to build and will be trying to pull players, but so is Mac bulls as they are trying also to go into 1st grade. And no secret here, the 18's from Mac bulls will be the 19's ESA team for 2013, so I wonder if Footymum will be heading back to the grassroots?. This will definitely leave a void for Mac bulls as they were probably depending on a lot of them for reserves next year. Just remember that parra eels did go over to mac bulls and then went back to Esa this year. Also heard that there could be 2 to 3 clubs vying for a spot in group 6 comp. Vess up the clubs who have inquired/ talked with group 6 about defecting as I believe there is 2 clubs that done that with Mr Andrews, I heard who they are but I'll leave it up to them to say. Maybe just a rumour getting around, but have heard that B.Hodgson could maybe be at Appin next year, as he will back from the UK. Just hoping collies can get a couple of senior teams on the park for next year,as we have some strong juniors that will develop into strong senior teams in the future, just lets hope west jl sort themselves out. Brett signed a new two year deal with Warrington, doubt he will be anywhere near Appin, where did you get your info from mate?

"Hypothetically" speaking only I believe you could have gotten an A and res to play in a combined comp from All Saints ESA Titans and possibly Valley (Valley never seems to get 2 sides but maybe) Others "may" have enough for 2 sides but have not played at the higher level before, making it not impossible, but certainly quite difficult. (Ingleburn, Warriors and anybody I forgot) I think we would all do it tough in a G6 1st grade as we found out a couple of years ago. You cant just go into G6 and win, its a building program, and that takes time. I hope doggiesgirl has the $$$$$$ all lined up coz Whiteman will be talking do-do & promising more money than the country can print in a year.

thanks ESA we have a lot to look forward to. We have a number of people and a PARTICULAR pair of coaches wanting to apply at Group 6 and saying if we dont play Group 6, we shouldnt bother putting in a team in the Seniors at the ICCC. They where happy to hear of a possible reserve Grade team being formed, we have heard that a couple of East players maybe interested in coming but only rejects from 3rd Grade on whats been said, correct Partial Me, we have good juniors coming through and if we attract the wrong players we will only end up going backwards.
They were nothing but polite and very respectful to our U18's players?????

No way Footymum and the team of you beaut all stars would be or should be allowed to come back, they deserted the wests Junior League, bagged the do-do out of everyone and everything. they couldnt handle losing games in Group 6 so they will come back and use there bashing tactics, thanks ESA we have a lot to look forward to. What tactics'??? I didn't see any of these throughout the year? they were nothing but polite and very respectful to our U18's players????? did see a couple of their games this year and they seemed pretty well behaved. not sure what the big deal is..

Good on you Dennis Good to see you back and Great news for ESA Have you decided who will coach which grade yet? I am also told Titans will have 3 sides next year with the same coaching staff.
Mav ATM not sure if im goin round again or not as u no father time is catching up on me Con Mark and myself R very good mates and no matter wat we wil b all in it together sound pretty confident seeing as both of them are being courted by other clubs...
also heard the rumour about the canterbury combined comp. wouldn't that weaken the ICCC? Seems like an interesting move (if it happens)

Seems like an interesting move (if it happens) I heard this a few weeks back This would be good in regards to travel and more games played As I notices during the yr Canterbury would move games to other Grounds when needed instead of calling them off
As a player I don't care what comp we play as long as we get To play consistent footy each week
As with all the wash outs it was hard to build momentum And hard to get motivated to train and play because of knowing If a dog peed on birchgrove oval the round will be washed Out
I can confirm what Maverick said that will have 3 sides with same staff Next year ( even though some don't think so)
But hopefully we have a better season
I know we are aiming for div 1 reserves

Mav, talk up Alan Fry as much as you will but he hasn't coached All Saints to anything yet. What happens in 2013 if things go pear shaped again? Mr Hit and Spin, I have been asked to respond to this on behalf of Alan Fry who does not get on the forums often but when he did read this he asked me, to ask you, a couple of questions in return. He is quite happy to accept criticism if he has done wrong, but would like to know what your credentials are to make these comments. He has also asked if you would be interested in attending any of his training sessions, so that you can point out where he is going wrong. He also said that he would be more than happy to you give you references, from a long list of juniors he has personally coached, that have gone on to play NRL and if you can come up with a resume that has got even half the credibility, he will stand aside and let you show him how its done. He also has asked me who you are, and have told him I dont know. He also indicated that he would love to have a chat with you to discuss your coaching prowess and what suggestions you may have to make All Saints a Premiership winning side in 2013. You can PM me for his number or send me yours, whichever you are most comfortable with.
And I can also confirm he has never been paid one cent to coach All Saints and in fact usually pays the money at the gate to go into the games himself.
