IMO I think the reserection of Wests has begun. Baby steps but they are all forward steps. Most likely Easts will enter sides next year in the SCC, which will strengthen the comp. The work done by the All Saints boys for charity and Aboriginal welfare has increased the status of the Wests teams and I can only hope other clubs will take on these initatives and promote their own clubs through charitable events. Wests have been very supportive in helping these events happen. Keep these things happening by as many clubs as possible and we will attract more good players to our ever improving competition. In fact certain high profile names (not giving names) have already expressed their interest in our comp for 2014. |

I have also noticed that certain people have personaly decided that you are not allowed to talk about the Eagles on "their forum" I post an insert from the forum rules, clearly stating the forum is for talk about all football and football sides in the Wests, Wests Tigers, Liverpool, Macarther and Southern Highlands. As I have been told that Eagles may intend to be part of our comp next year, I think talk about the Eagles and thier future plans should be allowed on here, in fact if you go by the rules it should be allowed on both. I also believe Group 6s loss will be West's gain, adding even more talent to our comp and more strenghth to our future. I would love to hear Galahs personal opinion into this as he is in charge of the Forum. Edited by Maverick, Jun 4 2013, 10:12 AM.

Totally agree Mav Lets be brutally honest here ALL the best players in Wests have all in the past headed to Group 6 and Group 6 best players are majority wests juniors, even look at the Group rep side its choc full of Wests juniors prodimatly ESA. There is no shadow of a doubt the best players in Macarthur come from Wests juniors and things look like shifting with the West senior clubs now having a stable viable competition to play in where the best juniors will play for their senior club, Eagles into Bundy will also see the more talented player try isd hand at Bundy over the $$ carrot dangled by Group 6 clubs.Look at the last few years in Group 6 dominated by Wests clubs and Wests junior players - 2010 - City reserve garde premiers beat Eagles all Wests juniors,2011- Appin all wests juniors - 2012 Macarthur Bulls - Eagles premiers all wests juniors and majority of Group 6 clubs stacked with Wests juniors, If the SCC allows clubs to take gates and pay their players IMO the player drain to Group 6 will cease and the SCC will be a very viable comp for senior players. IMO the Eagles becam to strong for Group 6 and clubs voted to oust them knowing they could no longer compete and their loss will be the SCC and Wests Juniors gain. Combined comp 2009/2010 Wests junior clubs dominated the Group 6 clubs at 18s level also. Great work by the ALL Saints club this year and the addition of the Eagles to the SCC and Bundy Cup will raise the professionalism of the comp and give Campbelltown and Wests the credit deserved for nurturing the talent they have into senior level Up and onwards looks the way for the SCC and Wests.

Very well Writtem Mav, and I think Galah would be very happy seeing some handy players end up at Wests. Our club has always had a great relationship with the Magpies, |

The Eagles squad back together in 2014 will be very competitive in Bundy cup and their reserve grade and a influx of more players attracted to the club in hope of getting a crack at Bundy would see them field all SCC grades, SCC will only get stronger and hopefully more West clubs get more numbers to field more grades. |

All Saints have shown the way how wests clubs can aspire to be like time to take note and get up there with them for 2014 and beyond, I agree with Maverick this is the re-birth of wests seniors in the SCC |

The group 6 sub forum and threads were decided not to include any more eagles discussions basically because they are no longer part of the competition, simple as that, its about relevancy , nothing about banning eagles discussion totally, where did you come to the conclusion that no one can talk about the eagles and which people are you referring to ? . Many users here especially linked to the eagles club creating more and other user accounts to avoid detection so they can push agendas ,troll and the like was also the straw that broke the camels back. If your happy to control & monitor that maverick then good luck. Edited by disco stu, Jun 4 2013, 03:24 PM.

If you read what I pasted re forum rules, it states all of the forum is for the discussion for all football topics in all of the areas stated. Mad Tiger made it clear that no discussion will be allowed re Eagles, which I found disappointing, considering the events that led up to the dismissal of 60-70 players from the group 6 comp. I also agree there are always 2 sides to every story, but there can never be any reason good enough to expel all those players who had done nothing wrong from your comp. Yes some have found a home elsewhere but others have not, and the icing on the cake for me was delaying or not allowing transfers for players who through no fault of their own had to look for other clubs. If that cant be talked about then this is not a proper open forum for local Rugby League, in our districts. If Eagles are to be part of the SCC and Bundy next year then I am sure many people on here would be interested in hearing their plans for 2014, what has happened to their players for 2013 and who may or may not come back next year. If all West's clubs wish growth, then they also should get on here and tell their stories and promote the product. Together and over time we can make our comp the envy of others and attract new players to make it better.

A clearance can't take 1-10 days to process pending the circumstances, and efficiency of all parties concerned, and cannot be withheld any longer than 10 days, I thought u would have known that , esa , wests magpies etc have picked up the eagles players so theres nothing untoward the clearance system . |

We had Eagles players at training, but was told the next day they would not be cleared. Are you suggesting that the Eagles players are now going to be cleared by G6, because if that is true then that is good news. I had heard they were cleared to go to Bundy, but not to ESA. That's why they have a website & facebook page, and with over 800 on their fb page its got far more reach than the few who frequent this forum. But if you want to then go for it in a relevant thread Edited by disco stu, Jun 4 2013, 05:17 PM.

Eagles back bigger and better then ever next year. Group 6 tried to destroy the Eagles but will only make them stronger in coming years, good to see the players all back next year even the ones at other group 6 clubs now taking the money for a season and running next year back to the Eagles. Can't wait to watch them go around again in Bundy |

If the Eagles enter the SCC in 2014 and field all grades I suppose there's every chance we will once again see another comeback from that 40 plus year old, over the hill, legend in his own mind, player to captain coach 3rd grade. He reads the play so well that he never gets his jersey dirty by continually hiding on the blind side when the Eagles are defending and when in possessen he either distributes or kicks. Also has the hide to stand in the front row of the team photos holding aloft the premiership shield. I suppose if this guy makes another comeback we may also see "The Big Show" dust off his boots to mount a challenge. All Saints V Eagles in 3 grades at Hillier Oval would be a big day. |

Hahaha, your a funny man Mr All Saint, would love to have one more game against the Big Show, and I'm sure he would play in the same dinner suit I played in but different colours, I hear they are looking at the 3 Grades similar to CRL, is that true? We have had some great games in the past, and I'm sure we will in the future! Did I really read the play that well? Thanks |

Ha. And maybe for your contribution you could do the dance routine for the halftime entertainment P.S you know the Big Show reads this all the time, he reckons that divorce would be imminent if he came out of retirement
