How good is the SCC going! Bar a few tweaks to the rain rule Easts next year welcome back and City will be there to they just don't know it, more teams=more games and more fun.
Campbelltown City JRLFC i think it is are looking at 17s/19s and an A grade side, I think a guy formerly from Minto is heading up the charge and might drag over a few players

Well done All Saints - another great community event - I hope the sun is shinning and all goes well. I will be in attendance. I'd imagine with no games for the past few weeks the boys will be bursting out of their skin to get onto the paddock.

Providing the council let them :dunno: Grounds still closed at this stage, to be reassessed Friday afternoon.

I will be an almighty effort if the 1st grade can take down the huge Bass Hill side with 5 players out and no training for weeks. :correct:

SCC Footy is back today after most sides having played only one game in the last 3 weeks (some none)

Good luck to all sides for the day, but especially the West's sides :winner:

All Saints Indigenous day kicks off at 10.45am at Hillier Oval Liverpool (behind the Whitlam Centre), with an u/19s game, with more games at 12 noon, 1.30pm and 3pm.

Entry is free, with lots of activities for kids, health checks, BBQs and plenty of great footy.

So come on down and support All Saints and the Indigenous community which people have worked very hard to bring about.

The 1st Grade Indigenous Jerseys will be Auctioned off after the end of the game up in the Don Regan Room.

Massive day for local Rugby League and All Saints today with 4 great games of footy at Hillier Oval. the Indigenous Health day a great success and having quite a crowd for the day.

Game 1 Saw Liverpool Titans 19s go down to Bankstown Bulls by just a few.

Game 2 Saw All Saints 3rds Grind out a 12-12 draw with Campbelltown Warriors (with a 50 meter penalty kick needed to stitch it up for Saints after fulltime which fell short by about a meter. :cstars:

Game 3 Saw All Saints Reserves defeat a persistant and never give up Fivedock RSL side 24-12. :winner:

Game 4 Saw A depleted All Saints 1st Grade show why are the competition frontrunners with a massive 62-6 win over Bass Hill Broncos, with Bass Hill never in the match at all. :winner:

3 home games and nobody took a win away from us today on our turf :yeah:

A great day was had by all with plenty of kids playing on jumping castles, getting their faces painted and visiting the mobile Zoo.

Next week A Grade are away playing the St George Dragons in a 1 V 2 clash. (Clempton Park, Kingsgrove)
You cant play a side as big as Bass Hill without injuries and if St George can't get us next week they never will with up to 8 1st graders out next week. My best wishes to lock, Nathan Alvaro who may have finished the season with a Grade 2-3 AC Disruption.

Our Reggies and 3rds will play at home in 1.30pm and 3pm games.

Any other results from today???

Reserve grade div 2 at Milton Park: RSL 50 vs Collies 12.

The boys are finally starting to play the footy that we knew that they were capable of and are starting to make a run at the top 4.

Was if Valley of Wanderers that forfeited todays game. If it was Wanderers it will see RSL move just 1 point out of the 4

Only a few of those Collies boys have ever played league before, they are probably the youngest team in the competition.

I wasn't saying that we are world beaters, was just happy with the way they played, especially without any training or games of late

Not trying to by any means Mav just highlighting that it's great to see Collies hanging in there and not getting beaten by more after a tough year for them. Could you give us a match report burner?

Calling all West's Clubs, is anybody out there???

Its about time we all pulled together. The SCC is best thing that West's A Grade has been involved in for many years. 3 grades where in 3rd Grade you can play younger or inexperienced players and or guys that want to have fun
Reserve Grade is where you can get a bit more serious and aim up to make 1st grade if you wish.

First Grade for the people that are good enough and want to aim a little higher.

As you may know I am with the All Saints Club who at the moment are having their best year of A Grade the Club has experienced. We have 3 grades and no person was rang or chased to come to our club.

So why have people come off the street come to All Saints? to make us at the moment the most successful side in the Sydney Combined Comp?

In my opinion its about getting yourself out there. Facebook, your own club website, posting on this forum and ringing the local papers to see if they can help. If you don't have a face book page, get one, and share it with everyone you know. Put up photo's, stories and match reports. Fund raising nights where you invite every one you can, and appoint somebody from your club to write things on this forum and your facebook. It is not like it was 2 years ago when mud was flying every where. :correct:

The more information put out there by you, about your clubs, your people, your players and your events the more people may get to hear it and or read it and want to come there.

We had one Reserve Grade side last year and because people are hearing about us PEOPLE WANT TO COME and there is no reason people wont come to your club if you do the same.

I hear of clubs that have skinny numbers but with a lot of proactive work, that can double or even triple without any great costs to the club.

So start by talking up your clubs, players, results and events on here, now, and keep at it and at it and the numbers will come good.

The information I have been given may suggest that East Campbelltown will field 2 sides in our comp next year and their hotshot Group 6 side will play Sydney Shield and be the Wests Bundy feeder. (just a rumour but I don't think too far off the mark)

All good news for the SCC so lets make it even better by increasing your own efforts to make your clubs bigger and better.

Otherwise we are going to have to rename this forum to the All Saints Forum (LOL) as there is nothing coming from anywhere else. :cstars: :magpies:

Match reports guys come on! Mav that's great news about Easts G6 have done them a favour with them entering Sydney Shield and becoming a feeder club for Wests after all they did win the Clayton Cup last year and countless other trophies which they can never be stripped of. Let's just hope the Wests Tigers do a better job retaining local talent next year haha.
