Mav, talk up Alan Fry as much as you will but he hasn't coached All Saints to anything yet. What happens in 2013 if things go pear shaped again?
Mr Hit and Spin, I have been asked to respond to this on behalf of Alan Fry who does not get on the forums often but when he did read this he asked me, to ask you, a couple of questions in return. He is quite happy to accept criticism if he has done wrong, but would like to know what your credentials are to make these comments. He has also asked if you would be interested in attending any of his training sessions, so that you can point out where he is going wrong. He also said that he would be more than happy to you give you references, from a long list of juniors he has personally coached, that have gone on to play NRL and if you can come up with a resume that has got even half the credibility, he will stand aside and let you show him how its done. He also has asked me who you are, and have told him I dont know. He also indicated that he would love to have a chat with you to discuss your coaching prowess and what suggestions you may have to make All Saints a Premiership winning side in 2013. You can PM me for his number or send me yours, whichever you are most comfortable with. And I can also confirm he has never been paid one cent to coach All Saints and in fact usually pays the money at the gate to go into the games himself. Zzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzz Titans club champions, great effort in only second season. All Saints? Eclipsed by a 2 year old club. Maybe the new board is what's needed to save the joint. Maverick I hope you're going to congratulate the Titans & tell us why you think they are by far a better club than your mob and why did it happen all so quickly?

And yes congratulations to the Titans and ESA, job well done to all concerned.
P.S You read this last night, it took a while for you to think of any sort of response

Have to Laugh at people going on about Glenn Whiteman, That bloke has forever and a day promised the world and delivered an atlas to many a team/club.
I know the boys at ESA respect Mark/Dennis and Con and they are not stupid enough to believe the hype of Whiteman. Whats he doing going door knocking through Claymore like he did a few years back when at Campbelltown City with the Juniors.

Maybe some ESA boys want success? From what I'm lead to believe they respect Mr Hellyer putting up his $$ for their rego that's about it as most have little money. Mr Hellyer has the biggest junior club at his desosal yet my mate involved in the junior club says that at senior level ESA has fails each year under Hellyer and blame is captain/coach approach ie I fund the team I'll play my way and my rules. ESA should be as dominate at senior level as their junior club yet are not. Maybe Whitewan offers a way out and some $$ to earn. ESA need new blood in the senior level to harvest the junior talent they have and Mr Hellyers results are not flash. Whiteman sounds like a good option for ESA players to follow as long as he delivers what he promises. It will be interesting to see how this all playes out. I agree that ESA have a great junior base and should be stronger in the senior grades.
Mad tiger, i dont doubt that the players their support Dennis,Mark and Spanos. It should be interesting to see where loyalties lie. I heard one of these guys has been offered a coaching position at another club. Rumour or trumour who really knows???? If it is true, he would have some pulling power with players for sure.
Too early to tell at this time of year anyway i say.

There's not much loyalty these days, players jump ship all the time, I see if the offer for ESA players is better than what they have now, they are as good as gone. They will get the world beaters from Under 18's back but they showed their loyalty at the Bulls, Group 6 a bit to fast for them.

In my day, you played for one club, this generation has no loyalty, they always think the grass is greener on the other side, these players dont give a do-do who they play for, or they care about is if they win a Premiership, Jumper hunters, and if the going gets hard and they look like they can't win, then they go walk about.

We talk about the poor layalty from kids these days, but there is still a number of fine young men that a very loyal club players, Look at young Chris Bostock, he has grown and matured into a fine club man, how many time does he have to win the West Juniors best and Fairest to get some sort of recogniton in the local papers, this would have to be the 4th year in a row winning the B & F.

Tru Loyalty has died but it does go both ways
I've played for 3 clubs in 20 yrs ( only changed due to moving ) I played 6 yrs with north ryde N then from 12 till last yr I played With REdfern all blacks N now with the titans n as long as I stay in the area I'll only play for titans
As will my kids when they old enough I remember growing every1 wanted to play For there local team Nowadays it's bout the money ( mostly)

A club that has been around for 40 odd years will be pulling up stumps, Ashcroft will fold as a couple of Life servents of the club will be walking away from the game forever. The Rumour has it that all the clubs tackling bags, line markers, pie oven etc, has been sold to Glenmore Park RLFC, so why is there no attempt in keeping this club going?
