At Hillier Oval today All Saints lost 3rd grade, Minto beat All Saints in Reserves and All Saints beat Beral Bears in A Grade. Heard Penshurst RSL smashed St George Dragons in A Grade. If true, next week in A grade All Saints will play Penshurst RSL in the Major Semi Final (to be confirmed but heard at Campbelltown Stadium on Saturday late arvo/night) with the winner thru to the Grand Final and St George Dragons will play Berala Bears in the Minor Semi Final with the loser eliminated.
A very injury deflated ESA beat ingleburn bulldogs 24-18 today. We had 1 in an ambulance and another went to hospital. Seems we wil play Minto at the stadium next Saturday nite

I was told today that the ESA club are having a moments silence tomorrow for Richie. Thank you ESA for that kind gesture.
Yes Mav we wil b a young life gone under such circumstances, there needs to be more awareness around this its truely sad
Thanku
Today was a tough for our 3rds with many tears shed during the silence
We gave it a go in the 1st half but with some silly options n brain explosions saw us throw it away
With a player sin binned just before half time ( wanderers scored 4 in that time )
N me being sin binned in the last 10 prob killed off any chance of a come back ( down by 4 at the time)

Also wanna thank all the people donating for Richard with over $700 raised to help the family

The way I read the ladders Saturday afternoon should go something like this at Campbelltown Stadium.

1.30pm 1st Game 19s - Liverpool Catholic Club V Penshurst (Minor semi - sudden death)

3.00pm 2nd game 19s - Liverpool Titans V Greenacre (Major Semi)

4.30pm 3rd game A Reserves 2s - Valley V Campbelltown Warriors (Major Semi)

6.00pm 4th Game A Reserves 1s - ESA V Minto (Minor semi - sudden death)

7.30pm 5th Game A Grade - All Saints V Penshurst. (Major Semi)

This is now confirmed.

Sunday 2.30pm Titans Reserve 2s have an away semi (Dundas)TBC

Good Luck to all

What a massive showing for the Western Suburbs Sides with the "possibility" to take out all Grades except 19-1s

Well Done to All :winner: :winner: :winner:

West's clubs seem to be the strongest district now in the SCC, Well done to the clubs, teams and the Wests Juniors board  The mail in Campbelltown City JRLFC putting in seniors in 2014 is also growing stronger and looks like will be a strong X Minto flavor to it. With the Eagles all bet set to be accepted and field Sydney Shield or RMC cup and all grades in the SCC will see Wests clubs contribution get stronger and once again be the dominate force district in the SCC   A remarkable turnaround in a few years :correct:

Good luck to all Wests teams in the semis, tips for premierships, A grade - All Saints, Reserve 1 - ESA -, Reserve 2 - Valley - 19 - LCC a clean sweep for Wests clubs :winner: :winner:

Thank you for your kind comments Assistant, and yes there has been a big turnaround. Its all about promoting the game in every positive way possible. We have used the local papers, A Naidoc Indigenous day, Women in League day, Facebook, the forum and even the Footy Show to promote our product and with that and some success on the field, it has created a much overdue marketable product which people now want to be part of it. Realistically last year was the start and small steps, but this year we have taken slightly bigger steps forward towards a new era. The more people wanting to become part of it the better and stronger it WILL become. I am also thinking more districts may want to be part of it next year. :yeah: :yeah: :yeah:

Thanks Tommy, but its not luck we need its consistency. On our day nobody in this comp will beat us. Unfortunately we have great days, good days and some crappy days. Not unusual but I have not seen Penshurst have a crappy day. The final four in 1st Grade is close, any side could win on the day.
The coach calls it left ear right ear syndrome. They all have good ability but its what's between the ears that makes the difference on the day. :correct:

P.S I would like to congratulate Daniel Draper of being found not guilty, by an independent panel of all charges brought against him by Group 6. Hope to see the Eagles and from a previous comment Campbelltown City ??? in the SCC 2014. :winner:

Good luck to you too Parra, and without any disrespect to Minto and good luck to them also, ESA are the only side this year, to beat St Christophers, and I believe to be the best chance West's have of taking out R1. Beating St Christophers 2s will be no easy task either.

All Saints have suffered two losses (St Christophers 1s and St George Dragons) and a draw (Penshurst) this year, so we also have to be at our very best if we are win this series, and yes, Penshurst are a very hard side to beat.

In R2 strangely enough the only side to beat Valley (Riverwood twice) has not made the semi's. So no team in the finals has beaten Valley which must make them clear favorites.

In the 19-2s Titans have finished on top of the ladder , but the top three sides have three defeats each this year, with Liverpool Catholic Club finishing 3rd but only because of a draw. This make makes for a close, hard to pick finals series.

All up it makes for a "possible" clean sweep of all grades for West's, which if pulled of will be a great result for Western Suburbs for 2013.

All Saints 38 Penshurst 24 and straight to the Grand Final. :winner: :winner: :winner:
What a match in which the lead changed many times. The spectators got their monies worth, with some massive hits, great tries and some spectacular defence. :yeah: :yeah: :yeah: Well done to all the All Saints boys.

I must give a special mention to Dennis and the ESA boys who formed a guard of honour for the All Saints boys to run through. It goes to show how much respect this comp is gaining. Thank You ESA for that very kind gesture. We were humbled by it.   Best of luck to you guys next week, bring home the biscuits.

Anybody got the results from the 19s?

Congratulations Maverick  I didn't get to stay and watch the whole game, but I have to say what I seen from both sides before I left was entertaining and the crowd was loving every bit of it. Good Luck in the Grand Final :winner:

In my opinion the SCC has been a success for wests clubs better then the combined comp was, with Eagles and City back in 2014 Wests will be back to as strong as the mid 1990s. Great work senior rugby league is alive again well done!!!
