Is there any book on the History of Rugby League in the Liverpool area? would be great reading, I once read a History Book on Group 6, fantastic reading and it was in a brown and gold cover, does anyone know where I could buy this book, I must of read it 20 years ago.
Has someone thought about updating the book, the last 10 years of Rugby League in the Macarthur would be interesting reading, the amalgamation of the competition, the break away, the secret meetings, it will all be interesting to get peoples version of accounts.

A club that has been around for 40 odd years will be pulling up stumps, Ashcroft will fold as a couple of Life servents of the club will be walking away from the game forever. The Rumour has it that all the clubs tackling bags, line markers, pie oven etc, has been sold to Glenmore Park RLFC, so why is there no attempt in keeping this club going?
Although a massive loss that Ashcroft is (they produced Brad Fittler) you can't blame the Titans for them falling over, if anything there biggest threat would be either Mounties, All Saints or Valley and as you have mentioned the junior numbers at those clubs it must be Mounties. There have been a few teams fall over in the same area from when I was a kid. I can think of 3 off the top of my head, only 2 names though I'm sure other forum members could help me out: - Macquarie Cobras - Liverpool City (All Saints moved to Hillier from Warwick Farm when they folded) - Can't think of their name but played out of Amalfi in Lurnea well before Hinchinbrook (are they still going?) were created. I'm sure there is at least 2 - 3 more over the years that have folded in the Liverpool area that were long gone before I picked up a ball (Any ideas people?). Liverpool Catholic Club has never really taken the jump in Seniors properly but remember playing them as a kid, you would think if they got serious they would wipe more clubs in the area as well.
Was it dayments or Liverpool RSL?
I'm sure there was a Woodlands side from the Liverpool area, just can't think where they were based?
Schell Park, the street opposite Campbells Cash and Carry on Orange Grove Rd. Freddy fittler played for sadleir bulldogs first he was coached by micky stewert

Will the Titans be rocking up to the Group 6 AGM next Monday to try and seek affiliation.
what's your strategic plan??
No the Titans will not be attending the GROUP 6 meeting there playing in the icc comp.. With the board to vote at the AGM for a new pres/ the people on the board now have reason to change to G6 I hear that the boys will be training in the last week of november ,knowing there trainer jim who is a fitness nut the boys will be fit once again to start the year..
So is it true Darcy was forced out of his position for sending an apllication to play in Group 6? so what is your board saying Group 6 or ICCC? I feel that you should go with the Group 6 option, we will all support you. As i said before darcy step down as pres..no the titans will be playing in the iccc ..are you scared all jealous of there success..the board members are good poeple honest and hard working .they elected a female who has passion for the juniors ..the titans have a seven member board ..who will be pres.. who knows maybe you like to involed as thats all you thing about ..the titans will only get stronger as they grow..by the way dan is not darcy ..dan is the winger in a.res dan is up and coming club man which will see him involed with the club for years..by the way im not at the club i have a mate there who tells me whats going on..

Dan and Brownie......Its extremely obvious that life member has a personal issue with you guys, but after talking to to many, not many people give his comments much credibility. Any comments derogatory will be either edited or deleted, but I cant be online all the time. It is free speech for all but some people on here are very good at drawing a very fine line. I can only try to monitor this but its sometimes difficult to decide what is free speech and what is deemed to be defaming people or clubs. As what would seem fair to one may be offensive to another.
I must ask everybody to try and not be defamatory to anybody as if someone gets too upset and goes for legal help, the forum may be shut down altogether as it was once before. If that was to happen how would we get the little information we do get, out to all concerned.

I might be getting old but I played for Busby in the 70s I thought they played in the parra comp. I did;t know that they went to west comp .Same as the maquiare cobras I played there too in 1980 that was in parra comp to. You're on the money sideline. Busby was Parra JL until the end of 1983. The Liverpool clubs of the Parra JL, west of Cabramatta Creek were combined with the Campbelltown LGA to create the Newtown- Campbelltown JL of 1984. There are rumblings that Peter Moore of the Bulldogs and Terry Parker of Souths were the major influences. Canterbury & Souths took hold of the old Newtown JL clubs, and Parramatta lost the vast junior nursery of Green Valley.

Lifey, I really think you are a hypocrite! You’re constantly bagging the Titans and it’s obvious that you cannot stand my best mate Darcy Brown, and I can understand that but you have to look in your own back yard first! Have a look at what your club has done to Ingleburn Bulldogs and Macquarie Fields. Your club was in similar size to our club averaging 13 to 15 teams yearly, and was equivalent to Ingleburn Bulldogs and Macquarie Fields in size. You now have the 2nd biggest club in the Wests Juniors with 30 teams, killing off Macquarie Fields all together and Ingleburn Bulldogs are down to 4 or 5 teams, so look at the damage you have done! And you only added a Tiger to your logo and that was enough to attract every child in that area that wanted to play for the Tigers!
I don’t agree with things that have taken place and I'm always the first to speak out at meetings, hence why they no longer want me at the Wests Junior League Meetings, Yes I agree Liverpool Titans could of been the Horningsea Park Titans or the Austral Titans, placed in a new estate and grab the young families and new sports grounds as they are being developed. Before you return serve and bag my club, I will let you know, we are happy with our 14 Junior Teams, it’s about kids playing Footy and winning isn’t really the focus with 16's and below, development is the focus! yes we have built a great Senior Club, we haven't rapped or pillaged other Senior Clubs in doing this, remember 2007 there was only 4 Senior Teams in the Wests Juniors, what we have done is given young men a good place to play Senior Footy while looking after the necessities such as Rego's, Gear and Physio if needed, and we are happy to target any East Campbelltown Junior to play in our Seniors. To finish up Lifey, do what’s right for your area before commenting on the Liverpool area, I’ll take notice of what you write when Ingleburn RSL go back to being the Burners!

BD I thought you had more brains than that, how can you say that we are to blame with a simple logo change for Macquarie Fields dying and Ingleburn Bulldogs that is in XXX care? and they have been run by XXX for far too long and that is why they are gone, nothing to do with us. and you seen what happened at your club, I guess he wanted to be President? so he gets knocked back as President twice and so he can be President of a club without elections he forms his own club and Wests Juniors sanction it. RSL has run our club very efficent and why should we get bagged for making players want to play for our club, only the strong survive and we are surviving strongly, there is and should be only one club in Ingleburn and that is us, there is already 1 Liverpool club and that is the Catholic Club, IMO Titans should of never been given the go ahead. Tigers Forever, Forever Tigers Tigers, Loyalty, Community and Truth. Winners never give up, and give ups never win. Blah Blah Blah

How can you count Catholic Club when there own management wont allow seniors?
And Life Member. I do not bag your club or players in any way, but I am sick of you bagging others.
That is not what the forum is here for.

I may be wrong but in titans first year I heard the weren't allowed to get juniors from clubs I. The district And they were all new players to game ( isn't that a good thing The more kids playingeague the better ) I'm not too sure bout seniors but I know a fair few came from Clubs outside wests this yr
Also isn't there a limit on how players a club can take from another club From the same district
Is not good to see clubs die but aleast they got other clubs to go to close by n Hopefully won't be lost to league

The idea is to stop bigger clubs from destroying smaller ones. We also have club boundaries to protect clubs.
