Picton won 34-26 over Thirlmere... Good game, Picton always looking in control but never put the game beyond doubt.. Thirlmere will certainly get better from that outing...
Not sure who the 17 was for Picton but he's a MONSTER!!!!!

Not sure who the 17 was for Picton but he's a MONSTER!!!!! The 17 is Tenisio Ahovolo (Kenny) and yes he's a real big unit, and can play. We were in control all game but got pretty lazy and sloppy towards the end. Coaches were not very happy. Some credit to Thirlmere though. Some of them were high 5ing like they won the game at the end, and with good reason. They showed enough to suggest they could be right amongst it in September. Apparently they have a couple more front rowers on the way too.
Their Reggie's have one hand on the premiership. So much experience and class. It's ridiculous. They are beatable, but not if you play the type of game that suits them, which is what we did.

Incredibly hard to stop and has ball skills too. If he is half fit look out! Will be very interested to see him playing again this year.
(Please don't drop him back to 2nd div. when we play you guys foal!)
I think Matthews was part of that bulls team too?

I think you're thinking of Brett Clarke, he was definitely there. In fact I heard those two were the centre pairing fir that Mac Bulls team. It boggles the mind to imagine them wearing the 3 and 4 in 2nd division!!

It boggles the mind to imagine them wearing the 3 and 4 in 2nd division!! The year or two before the bulls Brett was the winger for Camden 1st Grade, he used to have some speed so not surprising if he was in the centres. Plus did you see that Bulls side, they were small compared to some of the big boppers in the team.
