Picton won 34-26 over Thirlmere... Good game, Picton always looking in control but never put the game beyond doubt.. Thirlmere will certainly get better from that outing...
Not sure who the 17 was for Picton but he's a MONSTER!!!!!
The 17 is Tenisio Ahovolo (Kenny) and yes he's a real big unit, and can play. We were in control all game but got pretty lazy and sloppy towards the end. Coaches were not very happy. Some credit to Thirlmere though. Some of them were high 5ing like they won the game at the end, and with good reason. They showed enough to suggest they could be right amongst it in September. Apparently they have a couple more front rowers on the way too. Their Reggie's have one hand on the premiership. So much experience and class. It's ridiculous. They are beatable, but not if you play the type of game that suits them, which is what we did.
Big Kenny was part of the Mac Bulls team that beat us is the 2012 2nd div. GF. Incredibly hard to stop and has ball skills too. If he is half fit look out! Will be very interested to see him playing again this year. (Please don't drop him back to 2nd div. when we play you guys foal!) I think Matthews was part of that bulls team too?
I think you're thinking of Brett Clarke, he was definitely there. In fact I heard those two were the centre pairing fir that Mac Bulls team. It boggles the mind to imagine them wearing the 3 and 4 in 2nd division!!
The year or two before the bulls Brett was the winger for Camden 1st Grade, he used to have some speed so not surprising if he was in the centres. Plus did you see that Bulls side, they were small compared to some of the big boppers in the team. Can't drop someone from 1st grade to play 2nd div spud

They are good players but never troubled appin when We were there also outstanding win for the fellas this week original Appin boy back next week as they couldn't play city as there away at a bucks weekend Note appin to mKe the top 4 Nd trouble the top teams !!' How good the fizz yeww Pretty sure neither of them played against Appin in 2nd division. That was 2012 when they played for the bulls. Appin were gone from the comp by then, were they not. Besides, I refuse to believe there is any team in 2nd division they didn't trouble, having seen both of them tear through first grade teams.

Taumata no longer playing group 6? Never played. We signed him, but with our demise there was no way we were going to pay him to play Reserve Grade, and there's no way he would of wanted to. He just signed with Newtown last week

Yeah, I wasn't there, but the final score was 48-18. Didn't expect a scoreline like that. Narellan didn't get a beating like that at all last year. They got a touch up in the final, but 48 points is a drubbing. Did I hear correct that Scott Borg didn't play? And I saw the reserve grade hooker was listed as fullback.

Narellan are good when they win but very bad when they lose. The floodgates opened in the final 20 mins.

From what I heard the older borg played the cap/coach didn't narellan to slow for a quicker, fitter more skilled better drilled mittagong team It's serves as a timely reminder, not only of Mittagong's class, but their depth, something we saw from them last year. Their reserve grade is very strong. That's a club with 25-30 players easily capable of playing regular first grade footy.

I heard that narellan prop ran from the bench to get involved in the fight and received no sanction. Referees and officials completely missed it. A player to run on the field in first grade is disgusting. Did anyone else hear of this or actually see it??

Ross Brown the missing link at Mitta or Jets really poor?

heard Payne got decked with a sweet right hand by a winger on Saturday ? Haha Tik call it a sweet right hander if you like, me and everyone else at the ground would call it a dog shot... I made a break and that fella didn't like being palmed in the face so he decided to hit me while I was being tackled.. Don't know what position he was playing and don't care all I know is he was an islander from reserve grade that got sent off... That was the 2nd dog shot on me the 1st being their back rower hitting me in the 1st scrum of the game... Didn't work thou, pretty much played the whole game except my sin bin and we won 48-18 with a terrible goal kicker lol... Happy days...

Was this the same back rower that has just returned to the club? I was hoping he might have changed his ways

What did you get sin binned for Payney?
And who was the other player that got 'king hit'?
