Ben Baker heading back to Narellan is what I'm hearing along with Ben Roberts?
Camden have worked very hard on getting the NRL trial match to the area, well done Rams.
Camden to announce signings very soon.
Wow Narellan all the talk is rocky playing there in 2014 if so I'm hearing mick Crocker Matt king , now Ben Roberts that alot of points there can anyone confirm this if it true bring back the eagles if so heard baker left on bad terms ,scrap the points system imagine the players group six would bring like the Carlton league
Don't think so. Group 6 has no leagues clubs and the players won't come because they won't get the cash. It's all well and good that Narellan has a lot of cash at the moment, but I can't see them shelling out upwards of $150-200k like Wests Wollongong does. Points System is a necessary evil. Look at what's happened to sides that would have been over the points back in the day. Camden were the super powers in the late 90's and early 2000's, and look at the side they had, if the points system was around they would surely have been sailing close to the mark, then the dominant team was Thirlmere, and once again, same scenario. Take nothing away from them, they were all playing within the rules of the time.
Points system evens out the haves & the have nots... It even saves the 'haves' from themselves to a degree, so they don't end up like The Oaks 2003-08, and Narellan 2006-08, after the $$$$$ dried up & the magical mystery tour left town.
Ben Roberts is a Jets junior, 2 points.
Dnt rate Roberts at all Tumata a better player would just look lost if he had no good forwards was a good centre back at the dogs back in the day and wests sg ball wen they won it most overrated player that played nrl
Roberts has over 100 NRL games and represented both NZ and Samoa, and Taumata has done......?? Im pretty sure Roberts is off to Japan rugby next year Still overrated in my opinion yeah he will go were the big money is now can't get run nowhere now in the nrl Tumata hasn't because of his drinking problem Wayne Bennett does through out raps his the next Wally Lewis for nothing going to be great for oakdale if he doesn't play up

Did you mention City when the Leagues Club stopped funding them?? Not really pastrami. Leagues Club funded only minimally even during the 80s, the 1983 season was finally paid off in July 1985, nearly two years after leaving the Group. Collies were the same. No-one went to 'City Leagues' (except Roos supporters), because of the rivalries in town between the big 4 clubs. It went insolvent in 1986, and Wests Ashfield bailed it out. Long way off the monolith it is now.
Who you putting forward for G6 team of century pastrami? I'm told your knowledge is right up there...

Latest on Thirlmere is that any players trying to leave the club to go elsewhere are being refused clearances and being held back by Noel Woods. In my opinion this isn't going to help us in the long run. Players that don't want to be at a club should be aloud to move on. Especially the players that want to go to appin with Dane who weren't even Thirlmere juniors.

Big signing news Arana Tumata sign with Oakdale , the all the brassington boys at the oaks strong talk all of oakdale boys moon fryer at picton, masters McCauley appin all leaving oakdale former nrl players Matt king & Michael Crocker linked to play a few games with Narellan , city struggling for numbers and coaches still finding out about other sides appin could be strong next year but need numbers for reserve grade all talk ATM the moment
Not the best info Mole, you must be referring to Liverpool City. 2nd Division team basically locked in now already, with ex Eagle Jake Morgan in as captain coach. Paul Jarvis 1st Grade, Glenn De Bono has the U/18s. Reserve Grade TBC. Danny thereabouts, we've been mates back to Fairfield Pats days. DG's gig if he wants it (a little pun for those who know Gal). We've secured 1st Grade talent from Group 9, Group 7 & the ACT to this point... Negotiations well advanced with two vastly experienced campaigners, one a back, one a forward... All to add around Manu Aso'ava (Group 6 most influential forward in 2014), plus Ross Brown. Orana I find it hard to believe there are the facilities at Claymore to support a 2nd Division side... Last time I was out there I was trying to understand how 1sts, Reserves and 18s got on a field to train without lights. And are these blokes signed mate, plenty of rumours floating around that they are signed, just not at City?
Mossy having a meeting this week I saw on twitter to make plans for next season. I'm thinking they might struggle to get up again. Matt King and Crocker seem to be this years McGuinness and Skandalis, but I appreciate those posters throwing the big 'no credibility' sign up for the rest of us

What do you mean t.c? What goes around Comes around There were a lot of narellan players that went to Thirlmere with Woodo, and Thirlmere were happy to take them.

Opposed sessions help, as do Tuesday night club sessions... "find a way, make a way", as they say. 2nd Div team could train on Wednesday nights as well. I don't think they probably want to sign up for training sessions with Justin Miller and Ryan Russell. As for signings, rumours etc...no-one will truly know until Round 1. But we'll be even more competitive than last season.

So you get money for Stromferry and money for Fullwood? Hardly seems fair in my opinion I know a few grounds that could do with some better drainage systems. You can't say that's not true Orana.

That's welcome news, cos according to some you were disappointing this year Fourth season back in G6, we were real disappointed to only make semis in all grades. Narellan entered G6 1st Division 1st Grade in 1983, qualified for semis in 1993 first time. Thirlmere were pushed up in 1984 from the disbanded second division, and qualified for their first finals series in 1996.
The club's first official training session under new coach Paul Jarvis will be this Thursday night 6.30pm at Fullwood Reserve ('The Fortress'). Interested players can contact Jarvo on 0414 948 593. The club is also looking at the distinct possibility of fielding a 2nd Division team in 2014, with a lot of the 2010 Premiership winning Reserve Graders expressing interest to dust them off and have a run again.

City juniors get $$$ for Stromeferry did they moody? News to us, mind you we are wholly separate entities so I wouldn't overestimate how much we care about this matter. But again, gee you are a well informed local Rugby League identity for one so young... Heading back to All Saints in 2014?

Easts home ground was below par despite being an 'international stadium' as well.. City seem to be a club that is building the right way, developing the right players and facilities for long term prosperity, perhaps Appin and Mossy could take a similar approach?
