Stood up and admitted I was wrong when I blasted the group for not having program's available on line and the time has come again.
I absolutely pasted City a few months ago after the Oaks game and judging by their scores recently you have to applaud their conviction and courage. Mitta and Picton ran close and got over Narellan. Narellan play the role of school yard bully in Group 6 so that must have been some sort of performance.

A leader, arguably the best 7 in the Group, a player- coach who has come through the Storm system and the boys respect/ look up to him. Luke Swain was brought in to fix our middle and restore respect/ credibility for 2015. He's been outstanding also. Both quality men. Narellan made the mistake of trying to bully George Petersen (MMA fighter) and Manu Aso'ava. Bad move that backfired. We are short a few players to beat the big guns, but having said that, Manu copped a two game suspension from the Narellan fracas. With him in the team, we beat Thirlmere and maybe Picton. Our darkest hour this year was a 70-16 drubbing by Thirlmere. Our goal was to restore credibility and respect in 1st Grade, with a view to 2015, so hopefully we are well on the way to that now. We ran dead last in 1979 and then became the only club in Group history in 1980 to go from last to first... be good to repeat history!

Firstly, to go from last to first as you would like to repeat aka 1979 would require a vast improvement, requiring the recruitment of a number of players and then some more to cover injuries, which would put you in the Politis mould i dare say
Lots of could of, would of and should of's.....

An injury or player transfer after the season start can ruin a teams prospects and City were up against the wall early when they lost some coaches and players that was not of the Club's doing.
OMG, here I am sticking up for City
Just about every club has been in City's situation but they have been able to turn it all around through recruitment and bringing through players. Sometimes it means dropping down to Reggies or 2nd Division but they return.

aitken and swain came second half of the season I take it you haven't been to a city game recently? They are for sure 2 of the best halfes/middles in the group Aiko first game was against Appin. The Swan vs Narellan. Both brought in to rescue our season and restore credibility, with a view to 2015. Both players are agreed and done for 2015. Negotiations are now close to being finalised with an outside back, a World Cup semi-finalist, currently playing in the NSW Cup competition for 2015.
Both boys have done a great job there... basically if we hadn't landed Russ, we wouldn't have completed the 1st Grade season.
Splinter, I think your boys are a big chance of landing that elusive 2nd Division title, Narellan's first since 2007?
Ray Cashmere is the best forward in the Group and he'll go up a cog again in the finals. Camden are a real threat, but I still favour the big game experience and class at Victoria Park to go back-to-back.

I asked the question, how did Narellan get Rhys Lenarduzzi for 10 points when he is clearly 40 points? he played NSW Cup and played overseas so that puts Narellan well over the point system when they played us and what other games would they be over in points?

top deffinetly decided. Appin no chance wooden will never win a first grade premiership. picton won't be as strong as they can be with the players available till the semis. Appin will be lucky to finish the season.
A number of players not happy about promises made and not delivered.
Wooden to be at club number 4 next year

I watched Appin on the weekend and wests are still playing. I believe several clubs are using wests players.

Narellan seem to be over the points most weeks. I guess clubs a don't want to pay the group to protest it when the group will most likely let them off anyway.

That's unfortunate using the under 18s That means 9 blokes were seniors, who is on the injury list at present? What's the contingency plan?

TC, we get a couple back for this week but will still need to use a couple of 18s. Positive thing about using the 18s will be the experience they are gaining. We need to win this week to have a chance to make finals.
