Are you referring to yourself in the 3rd person, Gal? Why would you be asking yourself if you can answer your own question?

Congratulations to Picton on playing today.
Honestly that should have been canned.
Good to see everyone whinge about playing, particularly the Mittagong people, but that ground will now be wrecked.
GF @ Kirkham? Yes please

The amount of water on the ground, surely it can't recover?
Kirkham Oval will be looking like Old Trafford compared to Victoria
park.
Picton won't recover for 12 months now

Group officials were at Picton yesterday. They're well aware of the condition and had plenty to do with games going ahead.
The only game, of the 4, that really mattered at Picton yesterday was reserve grade. Our guys needed the win to finish 3rd, Mitta needed it for minor premiership.
Both first grade teams agreed not to play, because as the day went on conditions got significantly worse. The group officials present forced them to go ahead, saying it was that or they played mid-week or face massive fines if they don't replay it.

That's pathetic on there behalf since
When should a placing or minor premiership
Be at a cost of a serious injury anyone could of
Been hurt in yesterday's conditions
It was terrible but hey players are the
Slaves to the group and governing bodies

In these days of duty of care there should have been a risk assessment done which surely would have closed the ground down...... Gr 6 Management are hypocrits, making sure they dont have to change plans for finals but put at risk the players.

Its farcicle that they allowed the games to go ahead for one player welfare and for two the fact that they have destroyed the venue for the gf. If the group actually believes that Victoria park will recover for the junior and senior grand finals, then they are massively kidding themselves. Hopefully common sense prevails Coz it didn't yesterday

Yeah, he did. Pretty big blow for our reserve grade. He's the captain and has been the best player all year.

Another pic from yesterdays game at Picton, whatever group official(s) who pressured this game to go ahead should be ashamed of themselves
