Elaborate? It's easy to blame them, but Why is it the groups fault? Why were The Oaks & Mt Annan in the same position? |

I agree, we have struggled by not having any reserve grade which helps with depth |

Good to see the story finished with some decent publicity for Group 6: "Former NRL stars, including Brent Sherwin, Ray Cashmere, Michael Lett, Luke Swain and Russell Aitken, have featured in the Group 6 competition this year." |

I have said it before and will say it again. The Management Committee is voted on by the Clubs so vote them out and get new guys in that will follow through with what the clubs want, not what one or two individuals want. The way they work the system to ensure they get re-elected is a joke, with club votes virtually out numbered by executive own votes, junior league and referees. Sway a club with promises and there is a few more votes on their side so any hope of reform or new blood is out the window. |

Appin has 5 Wests players this week, and will be playing in the Black Magpies strip to appease the Fanatics. What a joke If Appin did a deal with Wests and they were their pathway club then there could be no arguments, but seriously, how can a club hold its head up and say we won fair and square with a influx of NYC players??? If Appin can't compete then they shouldn't compete....period. Has any other club requested use of Wests players this weekend, or for the finals?? |

The use of wests (magpies or tigers) players filtered to various group 6 clubs has been going on for years , you'll find the group does the dealing when it comes to accessing these players not the clubs And the black jumpers are being worn by Appin as not to clash with Narellans strip nothing to do with appeasing anyone. I don't think the distribution of players is consistent. The Jets played Thirlmere who had 3 players from wests and we're already maximum points with the Thirlmere registered players. So in effect, the FREE Wests players enabled them to defeat the Jets, but couldn't get them to the semi's. |

I find it strange that wests players can come and go into what ever team they choose, my 18 year son who is a contracted wests tigers player was called up to Wests RMC just after the June 30 cut off but was told he couldn't play.... How can a contracted wests player - a wests junior - a junior playing in a wests catchment area NOT be allowed to play up due to a "NO PORTABILITY" rule but these other players can come back??? |

Did Flanno take the deal from ASADA? Is that binding in group 6? |

Predictions for tmz? I think the wet conditions may slow the slick magpies backline and turn it into a forwards battle which will be interesting. Camden by 4. If Appin can put their best squad on the field I think they will beat narellan |

Camden v Picton could have gone either way. I think it was an old Oakdale move that got Ben Weir over the line with 40 seconds to go to tie it up. Chris Browne nailed a beauty, was about 42 meters out and the ball looked like it was still on the way up when it went over. Appin v Narellan was tight too. Appin had the better of it up until One of the Appin players went to the bin. Ben Baker was off early, not sure what happened to him. My thoughts are Picton will beat Narellan comfortably, and Mitta will account for Camden. Only concern for Mitta is the chequered prep |

Winners are grinners, especially after the dramas today - Baker injured first half, no Rocky as his partner was giving birth and failed attempt to get a major player back after NRL contract was torn up. The young pups stood up and the old hands led the way - Paki pound for pound the hardest player in Gr 6, Josh Graham non stop all day and Jermain into hooker midway thru the game stood out for me. Both goal kickers had outstanding games as sideline conversions were nailed. Special mention to Tre Sio who played U18s Saturday night and backed up and played most of the game. Big future ahead of him as a 17 year old still has technically another year in 18s. |
