Brad Hopkins acl tear last year and also expecting a baby, I've heard he is sitting it out in 2015. We are hoping to look as similar as possible. Our pommie lock and front rowers are heading back home so they won't be around. Who are you getting to coach 1sts TC ? Reevesy, debago?? Will Arana Taumata make a return haha So if one Brazzo is retiring and one moving to guildford what does it mean for the other two? Will they stay at the oaks or head back to Thirlmere? Or possibly up with you at oakdale tc?

Any new signings for 2015
Maybe....
Heard Brad Hopkins back to workies.any truth TC
Surely not. Isn't B-Hop the single biggest reason that side disintegrated? Group 6 really needs Workers to get back on board. Moss Vale would be at very long odds and I don't think anyone would be surprised if Appin struggled coming off a season without a reggies. Thirlmere - who knows what roster they'll have but you'd think it wouldn't look much like this years and Narellan were the competitions biggest disappointment by the end of the year. City making a lot of October noise and their best signing isn't even a player but the Stadium. Picton locking away the Groups best roster and a probable 3 peat. The Oaks going with their big 5 signings again next year? Camden to persuade big Ray to go around again. Borgs to have ANOTHER shot with Mitta? Could be a very uneven 6 team first grade in 2015. Plenty of time I guess though haha look at me getting all carried away in October.
We haven't signed anyone, just text messages and Chinese whispers. we are trying to lock down a coach first, which will hopefully happen next week Appin have signed Bart Masters, so there's a start I heard the Brazzos are shopping around, with Mark to retire and one of them (Matt/Mitch/Michael?????) getting an offer from Guildford, who will coach The Oaks too, pretty sure Leo might find it difficult to get out there. The talk I've heard about the Borgs is that Scott wants to be closer to home, pretty sure he's at ELDERSLIE. That's just some of the info I have
Silly season rumours would see: Picton- massive favourites to go three peat Camden- massive favourites to get Scott Borg and make the GF Narellan- Dasha Politis to sign a coach and a whole new team from anywhere and everywhere. Appin- back in 2nd Division, depends on what's happening with Flanno Warragamba- back in 2nd Division, 50-1 to get 1st Grade Oakdale- hopefully make it back to 1st Grade City- Kevin Kingston linked with the City club Moss Vale- hopefully back in 1st Grade, great club and a great annual trip Thirlmere- sign more blokes at the last minute to be competitive The Oaks- to continue their 23 season premiership drought Mt Annan- play 2nd Division Robertson- play 2nd Division Bargo- play 2nd Division Bundanoon- play 2nd Division Bowral- to return with 2nd Division and 18s Orana heading down dasha politis path too according to signings/reported signings.

I hope Orana know how to get around the point system like the jets with all these new signings Aiken 40 Ciraldo 40 Kingston 40 * Swain 40 Graham 25 Sharp 25
Starting to creep up
Tc is the likes of moon, weh,McCauley, pes, grey , conlon , crouch likely to get a call or have any showed interest in return or are u blokes relying on a new coach the bring a heap of players with them.
My mail is both Scott and Ryan Borg will sign with the rams along with cashmere to play another year.
Thirlmere will struggle to field both reserves and firsts next season especially with all those boys from reserve grade retiring this year. I'm hearing Matt orford To captain coach out there any truth to this cockpit ??
Picton to go three in a row and possibly undefeated premiers my early tip haha !!

Our pommie lock and front rowers are heading back home so they won't be around. That lock was as good a middle player as I've seen in the Group.
Not all of those players listed will be with us in 2015.

Picton to go three in a row and possibly undefeated premiers my early tip haha !! We'd be mad to not make contact with any of them We all had a pretty big drink together a couple of weeks ago, McCauley signed an A4 piece of paper in red pen which was pretty funny and the the rest were signalling that they would like the stars to align so that we could get back together at Oakdale, but I think it's unlikely. The Scott Borg rumour is gaining plenty of momentum, but from what I've heard Ryan Borg won't play. Matt Orford made contact with us in 2012, wanted big $$$$, I think he ended up at Wyong Roos.

Orana heading down dasha politis path too according to signings/reported signings. Picton-massive to go be odds on with retention of most of squad
Camden with Scott Borg cashmere and the ex Oakdale trio staying will be huge contenders
Narellan money money money but no premiership again
Appin will stay in first grade but will still be short of a real threat for the next few years till they can build and get some reggies
Oakdale back and rightfully so in the top grade always competitive and will give it a crack
mossvale possible return to first but will be fighting for the spoon
thirlmere some ex Nrl or now cup player and a few of his following will present for big coin mediocre at best The Oaks ordinary and plenty of it will b boxing on with mossy
Campbeltown Big talk as always but no threat and will b great games between them the oaks and Mossy
mittagong The loss of the Borg Brothers but plenty depth will be competitive but still can't go all the way
2nd Division Robbo Bundanoon Bargo Warragamba Picton/narellan(both won't field again) Bowral a chance Mt Annan to win it.

City looking strong if these signings are legit, some players weve seen and don't have to rely on orana telling us how good they are
Camden to go one better if rumors are true if players gel well we've seen just signing good playersdoesnt equal success alla narellan. Picton still the team to beat gee they played well in that gf completion rate would've easy been 90 percent, even a dodgy ref couldn't help mitta,
Mitta competitive but not contenders without Borges, payney
Tc what stars need to align? Its group 6 can't imagine they signed 3 year deals with Camden and Appin. If they allwanted to come bback why did they leave from all reports your problem was already cashing in at narellan, better check your pockets, there's probly some yellow liquid in it!

That's big news, with the potential to collapse 2nd Division ROBBO back to G7(again).So leaves bundanoon, Bargo , Narellan / Picton or possably both.Mt Annan and more then likely Warragamba.Who knows another club may pop up with surplus players and put in a 2nd div side.

Robbo to G7 Regan Cup... 😉
That's big news, with the potential to collapse 2nd Division Can't imagine the group will let this happen. The only reason robbo were in group 7 previously was because group 6 didn't have a viable competition for them to compete in ( no 2nd division at the time)

It would be great to get retiring NRL players in group 6. The group should allow one marqee player points free per team, This would help bolster the comp and not effect the points so much?

It would be great to get retiring NRL players in group 6. The group should allow one marqee player points free per team, This would help bolster the comp and not effect the points so much? Very good idea.. Each club has one 40 point spot for free. Encourages clubs to go and recruit one because if you don't, you're behind the game. Club benefits, competition benefits...

Robbo to G7 Regan Cup... 😉
That's big news, with the potential to collapse 2nd Division
Can't imagine the group will let this happen. The only reason robbo were in group 7 previously was because group 6 didn't have a viable competition for them to compete in ( no 2nd division at the time) Can only ask though can't we Stu.
Geographically closer - all teams in G7 Regan Cup within a 40 min drive of Robertson. G7 is a full home and away draw, with the home teams choice of match days. 2012-13 Group 6 we had a total of 6 home games over 2 seasons. Numerous games this year we had 0 touch judges. Referees were not rotated much in 2nd div this year - I think we had a grand total of 2 different refs through the whole regular season. Full program published every week and handed to you at the game in G7, and no player points garbage/inquiries/arguments down there to worry about either.
G7 were more than happy to have us in 2014 - only our timing was too late as the draft draw was completed by the time we were ready to apply. I did hear that G6 were not going to stand in our way if we had chosen to follow that path in 2014. We're never going to have to players or resources to compete in 1st or Reserve Grade so a small town comp like G7 Regan Cup suits us to the ground.
One of our young guys played for kiama this year and won the reserve grade comp down there with them, and a few of the young guys are asking why we couldn't play down there as a team next year. So no official enquiry or request has been made yet but sounds like it's the way the players thoughts are heading. The debacle at the G6 Preso night where 7 of our players weren't allowed to enter the function room because they weren't wearing black tie may also have left a bitter taste in the guys mouths too.
