Eagles president suspended from all forms of the game for 5 years. Let's see if he complies this time
Is this correct :dunno: :cstars: :dunno:
Once again incorrect facts, are we surprised? Last time I commented I come under a barrage of attacks, I can't see why people can't move on, we surely have, we are looking forward to a great season.

Our guys are training hard and we have good numbers with heaps of talent, A new direction and new challengers lay ahead. If you really want to stay informed on the Eagles for 2014, keep an eye on the Facebook page, at least we don't get attacked by keyboard warriors.

To answer your question our President has been given the green light be CRL, we are in Sydney Shield and yes we have signed the majority of our 1st Grade squad including Dunners and Hoare.

Hopefully people on this forum can be positive about the Eagles representing the Macarthur area in the Sydney Shield and get behind us.

Hopefully if I don't get attacked on this forum and as I said before, watch this space
I think most people are over the antics of your club Trent, or should I say the antics of a few individuals. Good luck for the year and hopefully you guys are in the news for positive reasons.

I notice in the draw that you guys have reverted back to East Campbelltown Eagles...obvioulsy disassociating yourselves with that other naughty club the Campbelltown Eagles.

Also noticed in the draw that they haven't given you a home ground to play at??? Any dramas there??

There is nothing to look into regarding our home games, we have to work out which games will be played at the Campbelltown Stadium (when available) and which games at Waminda Oval, we will have that submitted by the weeks end.

Our club has also attracted 22 new sponsors for the 2014 season so I don't know where you are coming from saying we have a bad name, as I stated before, new beginnings, new challengers and a new future
Since you aren't playing in the SCC shouldn't you have your own thread under Sydney Shield?

What teams apart from All Saints are actually playing in this years SCC Maverick?

Mmm ok Trent if you say so, so why no SCC? Is it because you never had the support of the other Wests clubs maybe? To many burnt bridges :finger: hopefully your President complies and doesn't screw over his players by deceit again. So all finds paid up hence the sponsor drive good work :correct:

So no SCC?? Where will Eagles park their excess Sydney Shield players? I think running with a pool of 25 players would mean 8 players each week would not get a game. Obviously as the season wore on injuries in both Wests Magpies RMC and Eagles would then necessitate those players getting a call up, so to be safe a squad of 30 would need to be on the books.

As a player you wouldn't want to be sitting on the sideline watching but rather out there playing. Have Wests sanctioned portability with a A grade club??

I am not on the board of West's, SCC or even All Saints so I can't answer that question with any certainty. :dunno:

It would be great if all the other West's clubs posted on here to let us all know. :correct:

I would not rule out Eagles just yet, but time will tell.

If any feed back that has been given to me is taken on board, then the forum needs to look to have a moderator or two from West's clubs. It has been "perceived" by people I have spoken to, that this Forum is totally under Group 6 control and any comments that go against what they deem to be needed are deleted. Again, I am only repeating comments made to me by some, and this may some what reflect the lack of talk on the West Forum since last year.

I believe that this forum is a great way to advertise your club, attract players and get information out there. The more media attention you get the higher profile you can achieve. The negative side to it is that faceless people with their own agenda's use it to try and stick a knife in, which is damaging to both West's and Group 6.

The SCC is trying to grow, and talk on here from the West's clubs will only enhance that. Lets promote Rugby League in our area's and keep our personal negative feelings off the forum. Positive comments is what will help the game, in both our districts.

Dean Widders is Captain coach, Wes Patten and an Ex Bulldogs / Newcastle 20s player (Unsure of how it is spelled but does Nehman Simpson sound close)

All Saints, the trial against RAB yesterday went well and All Sts got what they wanted from it for their first hit out. Redfern are about 4 weeks ahead of All saints in preparation at this point and are fit and full of running. New combinations were tried and Alan treated it as a trial. They played 3 X 25 min periods in hot conditions. The first period went to RAB 3 tries to ASts 1 try with RAB having the bulk of possession. Second period, Alan changed some combinations to have a look at some new guys and RAB scored 4 tries to nil, again with the bulk of possession. Third period RAB 2 tries to ASts 1 with RAB scoring their final try off a chip kick from a scrum win just before full time. It was a trial where the score board was not an indication of where All Sts are at, but I'm sure Redfern would've been pleased with the result.
Reserve grade went to RAB 4 tries to All Sts 3 tries over two 20 min periods. It was a good day at Hillier.
The 19's trialed ESA at Eschol Pk and I believe ESA won. Thats all I've got.

Hi all. All Saints will take on the Campbelltown City boys (trial game's) in 1st and Reserve Grade's at Hillier Oval today.

Reserve Grade will Kick off at 3.30pm
First Grade will Kick off at 5pm

Please come down and support this event as City are a very good side and will give us some idea of where we are at.

Coach Alan Fry believes we have better sides than last year and here is our chance to prove it. He also is not concerned about the loss to Redfern All Blacks last week as they train 7 times a week (compared to our 2 times) as part of the deal they have to play there (and have been doing so since last year)

GO SAINTS

I did not make the game, but I know that All Saints won Reserve Grade, but 1st grade was called off due to the lightning after and during the storm.

On a side note - I don't know whats happening with East Campbelltown ,but a player told me today that they played a Sydney Shield match yesterday against Blacktown (and won) but were without players, majority being Wests RMC players being called up on the morning of the game to help out again...the season starts in a week, you would think they would have things organized by now, especially at that level

That was a quote from their manager :correct:

And that was 7 sessions not 7 days, they train some mornings as well as nights.
