Mav's probably having a beer with Coach Al at the Collo but I heard at Hillier tonight that All Saints 2nd grade beat Collies 44-6 and All Saints 1st grade smashed Titans 60-16.

A great evening of football was held last night, with All Saints having plenty to smile about. Big wins in 1st and 2nd grade and money raised for The Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation. A visit from former great Mark Coyne who gave the boys a half time motivational speech was also a highlight of the night. Later at the Collingwood Hotel, the Jersey's were auctioned off raising much needed money for cancer. Well done to all the volunteers, supporters and visitors.

Round 4 Sydney Shield East Campbelltown vs Blacktown Workers
The Eagles hosted Blacktown Workers at Waminda Oval on Sunday the 13th of April, Blacktown from the start dominated possession with repeat sets and came up trumps with a try to Daniel Cassone and the goal was converted by James Horvat for the Workers to get an early 6 -0 lead. It didn’t take long for the Eagles to reply with a sneaky blind side play that seen Sean Connor score in the corner, Stephen Harding getting the goal to level the score at 6 all. From there the Eagles quickly put on the points with the next two tries coming from kicks when replacement Shane Laigafau quickly pounced on a mistake in goal to come up with an easy try and 3 minutes later another mistake in goal seen hooker Samuel Hoare score and the Eagles raced to a 18 – 6 led, the Eagles attack was slick and Chris Standing finished another great play and when Harding kicked his 4th goal the Eagles where in front 24 –6 with 10 minutes to go. It was another Sean Connor try before half time, Hardings kick waved away and the Eagles thought they were going into the break leading 28-6 but the Workers dug deep to finish off with a try to Ben Zucchetto with 2 minutes remaining on the clock and Horvat missed the conversion and the Eagles half time led 28-10
It took 9 minutes into the second half for Sean Connor to bag his hat trick when Wayde Dunley landed a money ball to see Connor score, Connor converted his own try and the Eagles stretch the led to 34-10, Eagles backs where being a handful for Blacktown with sheer speed and Fusi Toutai showed this with his next try and Connors kick waved away with 16 minutes into the second half, The Eagles Hooker Samuel Hoare created an opening that seen Leigh Middlemiss go through a gaping hole to score under the post and Conner converted to go 44-10, Fusi Toutai scored his second when he strolled from 2 meters out untouched and the kick from Connor waved away. The Workers with 14 minutes to go scored through Reece Grkinic and Horvat missed the conversion and with only 8 minutes remaining Fusi Toutai scored his hat trick when the Eagles worked on an overlap that seen Toutai score and Chris Standing converted for the final score East Campbelltown Eagles 54 Blacktown Workers 14
Try Scorers Chris Standing Samuel Hoare Shane Laigafau Leigh Middlemiss Fusi Toutai 3 Sean Connor 3

It would seem the Campbelltown Eagles have put their A Grade player's back on the park wearing an unfamiliar blue and white jersey. The Eagle's have registered their side as Moorebank Rams and will play in the SCC 1st Grade as of next week. They will still be linked to their Sydney Shield side and be able to draw from them each week if required.

The last time this happened was in 2003 when All Saints took an entire side to play for Moorebank Rams.

Ive heard they can drop only 2 player each week. Most of the players were not part of the shield team .They were not playing .Because WEST did not them put a team in with portatbility rule, BUT Moorebank want a team we had extra players not playing .It give young guys who want play some were to play
.IS THAT A BAD THING.

Yes that's what I am told 2 blokes per week :correct: I also am lead to believe they must have played more games in the lower grade that the top grade to be eligible for semi's.

It is all a good move in the right direction, The SCC is gaining momentum with even more districts showing interest for 2015.

I don't know if they are full but I know they have 25 for the Sydney Shield of which 2 will play SCC for Moorebank each week. You would have to ring Tammy Draper on 0425 280 702 to find if there are available spots or maybe Trent can comment. The Eagles game against Asquith will be broadcast on local radio from 1.15pm
Eagles V Asquith Radio Broadcast Former All Saints prop Matt Hanna will run out for Asquith, so good luck Matt

"Moorebank's" first game will be against Burwood who suffered a 70-0 loss against last years red hot Premiers, Penshurst RSL last week.

All Saints game next week will be against St George Dragons away (I assume to be played 3pm at Clempton Park TBC) St George defeated us last time we played there and we would love to get it over them this time on their home turf.

Asquith picked up the tempo and found plenty of holes up the middle of the Eagles defence and Asquith’s Robbie Williams showed great determination to score next to the post and the kick from Blake Nicolas was successful and Asquith was back in the game at 18-10, The Eagles getting the ball with 1 minute remaining chanced themselves with a cross field kick and Will Ahokava scored on the bell for the Eagles to go into half time with a 24-10 lead.

The second half seen the Eagles run in a great individual try to Uati Isaako but Connors kicked missed the uprights. The Eagles again putting fast points on with another try to Michael Bradstock and Connor made no mistake of this conversion Eagles 34-10, Asquith started to pounce on the Eagles mistakes and was rewarded with another converted try, Eagles five Eight Chris Standing was having a great game and scored next for the Eagles and Connors conversion missed but the Eagles now at 38-16 and the game was getting away from Asquith Magpies.

Asquith continued to amount pressure and when the Eagles dropped the ball, Asquith capitalised with a converted try under the posts to make it 38-22, Michael Bradstock finished off a great day when he scored with 2 minutes remaining leaving him with a hat trick of tries for the day, but Connor failed to convert Bradstock’s last try, to run out winners East Campbelltown Eagles 42 defeating Asquith Magpies 22, Best for the Eagles were Michael Bradstock, Chris Standing and Sean Connor.

Yes, the East Campbelltown Eagles have gone into a feeder relationship with the Moorebank Rams RLFC, giving our excess players the opportunity to get some game time, and yes Chipper there is a couple of spots vacant but players must be up to Sydney Shield level or at least Sydney Combined Competition 1st Grade level.

It was highly talked about at the NSWRL Coaches meeting tonight, a lot of interest in this game. We have been attracting good crowds and I think there will be a huge crowd come Sunday.

Come and watch the Eagles Fly
